A horrible place worst bank holiday weekend we've ever spent on a campsite! No entertainment absolutely nothing! In spite of it being so quiet we still had to wait ages for a drink! The landlord was aggressive & rude right from our arrival & for facilities it was expensive! Β£30 per night Inc electric but when our electric kept tripping he blamed us! We were disappointed & went to local shop for our food & drink for the rest of our stay! We'd hoped to socialise & make new friends but not there you won't!

Food was great considering the price, curry was tasty and served quick. Duncan was a great server, polite and attentive.

Bar staff seemed more intoxicated than me and my wife put together. Had to repeat our order three times. Wonβt be rushing back

Some reviews say staff are extremely pleasant, professional & kind to all customers, I did not find this today - so much so I won't go there again. I am usualy really keen to support all local businesses. Staff attitudes are really odd.

I arrived late and my friends had already ordered. I ordered a baked potato and tuna and it took 30 minutes to come out - and it wasn't very warm! I have eaten lunch there a few months ago - we ordered ham and cheese paninis and they took a long time to be served too! There are lots of cafes around Lutterworth, so I'll stick with those in future!

Lovely food served by people who obviously enjoyed their work. Good management and friendly staff. Great range of desserts which we will try next time.

Lovely place for a drink. Great service with friendly staff. Would highly recommend for drinks. Didn't try the food.

Sadly this review is not based on the food but of the lack of forethought of the owners. We took a 54 mile motorcycle ride to get to the restaurant having checked beforehand that it was going to be open. Both website and Facebook state this cafe is open on a Tuesday. Unfortunately the owners have decided not to open during the week in winter but are too lazy to update their website or Facebook page letting you know this. Be aware this cafe is not open weekdays in the winter. We ended up turning around and finding an alternative venue.

We'd walked up to Black Rocks from Cromford and we were looking forward to a coffee at Badger barister - the black rocks cafe in the car park. It wasn't to be. The Cafe was closed. A large message on the door said that they were closed for the winter and would be open again in 2024. Apparently not. As it was a Sunday, we carried on along the trail to the Steeple Grange Light Railway just a few minutes walk. There we had hot drinks and some dolightful biscuits.

The Salad bar is an absolute favourite for your household. The service is always lovely and fast, the food is always delicious, the caramelized onion sausage rolls are absolutely awesome. The drivers are always happy and will go above and beyond to accommodate, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
