I arrived late and my friends had already ordered. I ordered a baked potato and tuna and it took 30 minutes to come out - and it wasn't very warm! I have eaten lunch there a few months ago - we ordered ham and cheese paninis and they took a long time to be served too! There are lots of cafes around Lutterworth, so I'll stick with those in future!

Place is clean. Food took a relatively long time to be prepared. The money for the food was taken when the food was ordered. When the food arrived it was underwhelming. I thought the portion size was very small. However food quality was ok. I just feel this place has good potential

Idea place to meet with friends, or just have a coffee, there are plenty of cakes, also light meals. I would recommend.

A good meal or / and beverage in the centre of town. Great location to stop off if you are on the way home from the doctors surgeries, been shopping and feel you deserve a good meal, arrived home on a bus and don't want to go home to cook. You can pick up a lateral flow test kit, buy a copy of the Lutterworth Memories 1950 to 1980. The meals are very good and the service is brilliant.

Stopped off at the Wycliff Rooms for a cup of coffee the other day. It’s a nice place to spend time and the staff and service are excellent. Will be coming here much more often from now on

We had a family Sunday lunch at Wycliffe Rooms, we were very impressed. Our welcome was very friendly, tables well spaced with plenty of room to move around. Great food and service. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everyone.

Six of us had a "just what we wanted" light lunch at this small, characterful cafe, tucked into one of Market Harborough's historic "yards". Two had the excellent tomato and basil soup, served with a ciabatta roll; two had a delicious ciabatta roll (one gluten free) with cream cheese, figs with a touch of honey and pistachio nuts; one had a bacon-filled ciabatta roll and one had a fruit scone. We all enjoyed our lunch, and the two staff were very helpful. We thought we had made a very good choice out of the numerous options in the town and would definitely go again.

Called in today for our first visit. Received a warm welcome from staff members and were able to be seated as although it was busy lots of people had chosen to sit outdoors. Chose a carvery and we weren't disappointed, choice of 3 meats all cooked beautifully, nice choice of fresh vegetables. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and you weren't bombarded by staff as soon as you started eating asking if it was alright. We were approached but had at least had a chance to have eaten some of the meal! Will definitely be returning here again.

Christmas Carol event. Owners totally reneged on their promise of mince pies and mulled wine. Didn't even turn up to greet the singers. Very poor impression

We used to love this pub. It was cosy, friendly with amazing food. We didn’t realise that it was under new management until we called in for lunch today. It wasn’t busy but the service was chaotic. There were Christmas menus on the table. The guy serving us said they were serving the normal lunch menu too but menus hadn’t been printed yet. We were advised to Google the menu. The guy himself couldn’t find the menu on his phone and neither could my husband. When I did eventually find the online menu it wasn’t the lovely imaginative menu that used to be available. It was average pub grub. We decided on fish and chips but when we ordered we were told that they had no fish. All a bit of a disaster really. We had our drinks which were nice. The pub also had nice table decorations and balloon arches. We would rather have good food than balloon displays though. Sadly after eight years, we will not return.

Many of my friends have raved about this restaurant and we had never been. So after realising it was closing, we just had to book. It was not what we expected - bright lights and bare tables. Not our thing. The arrival greeting was ok but not special and no explanation or interest in us as 1st timers. The food was good and very tasty but it was expected at the price. The wine choice was a different matter. We order one red and one white, not cheap. The white wine arrived by a very young waiter who poured the wine with no option to taste and it was NOT cold. Unbelievable! When asked why it was not cold he said there was ice in the ice bucket. Not a good start to the meal, The waitress leaned over me every time to serve my friend and they didn’t offer new cutlery for each course. Maybe they have lost interest now it’s closing, very sad as we had heard such excellent reviews.
