the venue was good, bar service good, food very nice, the down fall was the music. the DJ kept disappearing, he'd set up so many records then leave, He didn't play any Christmas songs, ( maybe two!!) I mean who DJs a Christmas party and doesn't play Christmas records??. Other than that it was a good night.

our group of 5 couples was not made to feel welcome at all, in fact it seemed as if they did not want us there in the first place, we had no attention to our table, not once were we asked if every thing was ok, the whole experience was very off putting and we could not recomend this restaurant.

A lovely pub with friendly staff, who were particularly welcoming and kind to our dog. The food was simple but tasty and extremely good value. We had Bradfield beers on tap which were delicious.

Popped in for a refreshing drink after a stroll around the town. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A great range of drinks and although we didn’t eat…the food looked amazing! The beer garden area was bright and cheerful with plenty of seating. We stall definately pop in again and hopefully try the Sunday lunch too ☺️

Looking for a quick and filling lunch before the football on Saturday we saw this on the High Street. The prices advertised were reasonable and from what we could see from the food being eaten, the portions were generous and freshly cooked. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a table at first but given the nature of the food being served, there did seem to be a quick turnaround and tables became free fairly quickly. My son and I had the small fish specials which (pictured) were freshly cooked and quickly served. You will also see from the picture that the portions are extremely generous, so I’m not sure what some other reviewers on here consider to be the issue. Including a drink each, the total bill was just over £16 which I think is more than reasonable in today’s financial climate. The next time we are in town for a visit or to watch the football, we will certainly head straight back. Staff seem friendly and efficient and the restaurant was clean and tidy given the amount of people coming in and out during the day.

Don't Get the Groupon voucher. 30 days to book it in the terms and conditions. Only 14 days to get a refund and absolutely no way to book using the phone number or email provided. Informed only over facebook that there not taking bookings. There still taking booking on booking.com though. well that feels like a scam.

Gorgeous food and a great choice on the kids' menu! Everything tasted really fresh and great quality ingredients. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We even left my sons water bottle behind, and they are keeping it to one side for when we return! 😆🙈
