Love going here. Food excellent and staff are really friendly.

Absolutely lovely evening with friends. The staff couldn't have done anymore to make things comfortable for us. We were given a private room at no extra cost, which was away from a very noisy party. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Special shout out to Stuart, who had the biggest smile all night and really looked after us. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Service in the restaurant was abysmal, waiting to be seated, no one at the bar, no one front of house, for at least 10mins. The waiting staff are all young adults (17-20) and really look like they'd rather be anywhere else but here. Total lack of concentration, no sense of urgency, forgetful, miserable looking and at times downright rude. Don't order the chicken wings, they were probably once owned by a pair of budgies, absolute rip off. The quality of the main was good but certainly doesn't warrant the prices they charge. £20 for fish and chips is ridiculous. Very friendly chap behind the bar, but again prices are far too high for a run of the mill bar. This isn't a luxury venue, they seem to think they are. The toilets were dirty and smelly, and the bar area is tired with it's 1980's bricks and worn out furniture. If you think you deserve the price you charge, you certainly need to up your game and refresh those tired areas.

We did a charity event at the church and we were well looked after , with food and coffee, and cheery advice The church is a valuable resource that is possibly under used, we enjoyed so much we are doing another 2 day charity event there

Great atmosphere great food live music Greek nights what more could you want

We arrived to find a busy, welcoming pub, with a wide choice of real ales, and a fabulous atmosphere. The food was good solid pub fare, with big portions at a reasonable price. It’s great to see a country pub thriving when so many have closed down. This place is definitely worth a detour!

Went for a drink as staying nearby served and greeted by a lovely friendly lady called Sarah ,very much enjoyed our time there and food smelt lovely to late to eat there though. Returned for Sunday carvery same lady there and looked after really well also by lady serving the carvery sorry didn't catch a name.Food lovely very tasty fresh and cooked beautifully thank you all hopefully be back one day as really enjoyed our weekend break.

We have always come here for breakfast but not any more ! Couldn't believe how it's changed when they said a small breakfast I didn't think it would be so small and not very nice. Plus over charged me by £3.

Not the friendliest welcome from the bloke behind the bar. Objected to the behaviour of one of the other guests in the bar who had a Labrador off lead who became very rude when his dog was worrying my Jack Russell, who was on his lead. I don’t like been sworn at, so the whole experience was terrible. Don’t have their “coke” either it’s just coloured water tasting of cleaning fluid. I’d rather go thirsty than ever visit that pub again.

poor food quality and poor hygiene on the tables and no sanitization between customers not even a table wipe.

No sé donde TripAdvisor nos dieron la foto. escribo para informar a todo el mundo que el pub ya han desaparecido, unfornately Dennis el encargado, ha tirado la toalla. una pena que sus domingos almuerzos eran deliciosos.

We went for live music night and saw a band the best we have seen called Ferrocene. They went down very well. Place was busy and people had been in most of the day due to the sun but it was a great night. Good choices of ales, beers and spirits and great looking well looked after venue

Understocked farm shop with a cafe .Nice premises but warmed up food .pie was warmed up in the microwave so soggy pastry ..Shame this place used to be buzzing but items not even priced and when you ask they are expensive .Big menu but 4 items had run out .Shame.

Myself and my grandchildren had a wonderful first visit here. The staff went over and above to help us enjoy our visit. They ate everything especially the chocolate brownie. Will definitely call again X
