Not the friendliest welcome from the bloke behind the bar. Objected to the behaviour of one of the other guests in the bar who had a Labrador off lead who became very rude when his dog was worrying my Jack Russell, who was on his lead. I don’t like been sworn at, so the whole experience was terrible. Don’t have their “coke” either it’s just coloured water tasting of cleaning fluid. I’d rather go thirsty than ever visit that pub again.

The food is reasonably priced and they even offer snacks later in the evenings. It is a friendly pub and locals chatted to us even though we hadn't visited the pub before. There is plenty of car parking space and the pub is huge. They even have a really good outdoor area.We will certainly visit again. Although there wasn't a special event on when we visited, locals told us they often have them and were looking forward to the Halloween festivities there.

Popped in for a quick drink ... what a warm welcome by the stafff and regular customers. Quickly made to feel extremely welcome. Played pool or was it snooker or maybe billiards. Something with a cue anyway then everyone joined in playing “Dobble”. Google it ! What a hoot. We loved it there and it may just become my favourite place to meet my new fella half way between our homes. Happy days. Ingham has got to be the friendliest village ever !

Visited last night with my 2 daughters and son-in-law. Have been here before but not for many a year so thought it time to reacquaint myself with the place. Being a Monday night it was quiet but we were made to feel welcome and shown through to the dining area. Menu is currently only bar meals but there was a good selection on offer. The meals arrived promptly and were well cooked and piping hot. We all agreed how excellent the food was and only clean plates went back to the kitchen. My youngest daughter even remarked that her meal, Steak and Ale pie with mash and peas, was the best she'd ever had (and she's tried a few Steak and Ale pies!). We will definitely be returning.

Attended the relaunch with 6 other members of the family......wow! The pub was very busy, but we made our way easily to the bar and ordered drinks. We were served promptly and were asked to take a seat as we were early for our table. Bethanie came to show us to our table in the lovely restaurant away from the bar. The restaurant is clean, welcoming and has a lovely ‘feel’. Our orders were taken and food arrived well timed, well presented and DELICIOUS! I had red snapper which was beautifully cooked....(went perfectly with the rhubarb gin)!!!....and a complementary Prosecco thrown in to boot!! Not the first time we have eaten here, the chef Corey is always visible, chatting to his guests, he never ceases to impress me with his food. Excellent, attentive and great atmosphere.... highly recommended.

Had a funeral wake here. Just asked for basic buffet food and got what we asked for. A simple old rustic pub and smashed my head on the very low beams. If you're 6ft or more get ready to duck or wear a helmet.

went here with my family and the atmosphere seemed lovely on appoarch and my food was lovely , but the arguying between the owners put us right off , and when you ask for stuff the chef would panic and say i give up which i thought was very inapporate and why say that when it was going to well , so lovely food but arguments between staff should be kept private , we felt very awkard and didnt finsh our tea because we just didnt want to stay in such an awkard situation. such a shame because your food is lovely .

Fuel rather than food - a quick stop to refuel whilst out cycling, OK beer but food that was at best mediocre and at worst awful. Pub grub that's not been anywhere near a chef. We won't be returning.

Recently been taken over and this pub is excellent. Having driven round after finding other pubs fully booked found this one. We were out for my birthday and went to some locals that we knew. Wish we had come here first. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and gorgeous food.

Well wish we had found this place before. We were looking for somewhere new to try and were recommended to the Black Horse. We were made to feel very welcome by being shown to a little lounge area to a side bar. Once we got our drinks we studied the menu. There is a fantastic choice of home cooked food on offer and an additional specials board. The food was sensational! We had to try 3 courses just to make sure (feeble excuse lol). The steak was melt in the mouth and so were the pork loin steaks. They also had a menu suitable for allergy sufferers and very good choice. We will be recommending to anyone and everyone. Thank you to all the staff. We will be back with our family and friends.

I really like this place. I've seen it change hands a few times (not always for the better) but the new landlord really is fantastic. He's very welcoming and makes your custom feel appreciated and you leave feeling like you've made a friend. The drinks are good, more than fairly priced and there is a nice friendly atmosphere.

Family visit for Sunday lunch(no Sunday lunch menu)?decor needs upgrading, and so does the menu, don't bother having the lasagne it was the worst ever and the chips mostly consisted of batter remains from the bottom of the fryer, I didn't complain because I wasn't paying and I didn't want to upset the person who organized it but not again.

Since the Black Horse has been taken over by Martin, Ed and Graham it's everything a village pub should be. The rear garden is beautiful. It includes a summerhouse, a gazebo, a water feature and a large selection of toys to keep the children amused. The Sunday carvery is delicious and great value for money. Everybody was friendly and I would highly recommend this pub.

Seriously awful food. The main was edible (if you don't mind pubic but trimmed hair with your chips) just, however the dessert was disgusting, followed by an argument with the landlady. Ordered a Baileys dessert which I knew would be from frozen and defrosted. When it came out the cream on top was still frozen...I couldn't even cut it with my spoon. Cream was not only frozen but smelt off like when a dessert has been frozen for far too long ( about 10 years). The chocolate sponge was dry and seriously rank....I've had this dessert before and its not supposed to taste like that. Upon saying we wouldn't pay for desserts the landlady then argued with us saying she had tasted the dessert and it wasn't frozen and that the sponge tasted funny because of the baileys.... Not creamy and yum like the baileys drink? She then said she hadn't tried the cream but knew it wasn't frozen...and went on to call us liars (we didn't eat either dessert so it's not like we were after a freebie!).

Well, what can I say.... There would be more life and soul in a mortuary than this establishment. Food horrendous and very rude argumentative staff! The village needs a decent pub and not some cheap nasty poorly run dive of a place.

Got told about this place by a friend so thought we'd give it a try. A bizzare layout which threw us when we first walked in but after that we had a great time. Food was superb and can strongly recommend it for a night out. Prices were reasonable too.

No sé donde TripAdvisor nos dieron la foto. escribo para informar a todo el mundo que el pub ya han desaparecido, unfornately Dennis el encargado, ha tirado la toalla. una pena que sus domingos almuerzos eran deliciosos.
