I think that they have had the management consultants in …. Any charm it had, has gone. Now just an over-sized cafe, with an over-priced shop, selling items you can get at a supermarket with a 100% mark-up.

I was very disappointed, I’ve been to visit quite a few times and everything been fine. I took a friend with me who is gluten free and there was nothing for her to eat. Went to the fresh counter to buy groceries and no meat’s were gluten free either. There are a lot of people now with different food intolerance’s

Went on Friday October half term with my grandson. Expected it to be busy and it was. Went around the "behind the wall" experience which was awful, no fairy trail, couldn't find the mini mazes, only a few pumpkins left and extremely expensive, most other venues offer one free pumpkin with entry price (rand farm was amazing). Decided to go for lunch, it was busy in the cafe but we ordered promptly and waited, (no mention of a waiting time on food). 30 minutes past and I enquired as to where my grandsons cheese sandwich was from his prepacked box as they were the only item unavailable from the counter, a toddler cannot wait 30 minutes. 10 minutes later his arrived if it takes 40 minutes to make two cheese finger sandwiches something is amiss. Our panninis arrived a further 10 minutes later, thrown on the table service with a grimmace. My Bacon was cold and mostly rind and inedible so I asked for my money back, which took a further 12 minutes to complete. Had been highly reccomended but will stick to rand farm in future.

Called at the farm shop for some bits and bobs after we had visited a few weeks ago and got some really nice food. Asked for 1 1/2lb of minced beef confused the young lad serving who got his phone out to convert pounds into grammes We got 534g it should have been 680g (It was put on a tray instead of in a bag and lo and behold the weight of the tray is included so not even 534g of meat!!) Sausage rolls on offer 3 for £4 but got charged £4.80 ! plus bought some other stuff so didn’t realise until we got home how bad the mistakes were. They really need to train the staff better here. It’s a shame because it looks like a very nice place.

Good quality, good service, friendly staff but remains overpriced for the area. However the recent introduction of a 'bike rack' in a completely insecure position, ready made for bike thieves (out of sight of anyone eating there) and proximity to the car park for a snatch and grab, make it no longer viable for a cycling stop. I'm not leaving a £5,000 bike out the front where it can be stolen when theres a perfectly good internal courtyard which has been used for years. Its ultimately up to the owners but losing the trips of hundreds of cyclists you would think would be a bigger concern.

Easy place to enjoy a cuppa and cake whilst using the fast car charger in the car park. There was a good selection of cakes. The scones, however, lacked fruit and were quite dry and we were shocked it was £4 for a buttered scone in the cafe but only £1.25 to take one away; it seemed like a large price hike for some butter and a plate!

Called in for some quality food to take self-catering, and also to have lunch on the journey and wasn’t disappointed. This is a well appointed shop selling quality food and other items with a cafe attached. A tip- the people of Lincolnshire it seems are very, very generous with their portions. I had the pork belly, anticipating two strips or similar. A perfectly cooked colossal piece of pork was served which was out of this world but must have been over a pound of meat. I finished it but needed a lie down when I got in! All the produce we are there and bought to take with us was delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Happy 18th to the lovely girl serving us- many happy returns.

UH's is usually good for food but I was disappointed this time around. I went with a friend for coffee & cakes & the cake was a complete let down. I ordered a lemon & poppy seed cake & my friend had a hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Both were a let down. The lemon cake slice was small, very dry & with barely a hint of lemon. It tasted a tad stale like it were baked the previous week...I had to wash it down my throat with the tea I ordered!! My friend's chocolate cake portion size was miniscule for £7.50p!! Absolute rip off! What's happening UH?! You were so good once!

Popped in for a quick brunch expecting the usual farm shop/cafe offerings but I was blown away by the choice and offerings of dishes made with fresh local produce. The member of staff who served me (Katie?) went above and beyond to explain the menu and the provenance of the dishes, this lady really is a credit to the establishment. I decided to go totally out of my comfort zone and ordered an absolutely delicious fish finger panini, great value and really tasty. The coffee was perfect, a flat white with velvety milk, not lots of foam as many places seem to serve as a flat white but thats totally wrong, I was also please to hear about how the coffee is ethically grown and sourced. The only negative thing I have to say is about other customers moaning about nothing, how the staff put up with them I really don’t know. Would I return again? Most definitely, the food, the value and the surrounding and all 10/10 plus if the staff are all as good as Katie this place cannot be beaten.

Shop section looks great. Good quality items and a nice selection. Friendly staff. Good butchery counter! Currently trying to avoid carbs, so wanted to order a breakfast of only bacon and eggs. The lady tried putting it through the till as scrambled egg on toast, no toast, extra bacon extra egg... £13?! Glad I questioned it and said not to bother. Hubby ordered a full English with extra egg and bacon in the side. Considerably cheaper at £6. The bacon was really nice but the scrambled eggs were awful. Very wet, soaked a lot of water up with a napkin but they were still inedible. So I ended paying £6 for 4 bacon medallions 🤣 That being said, the staff were great, they asked if there was something wrong because I'd not eaten and offered me a refund which was considerate but I politely declined. I have heard good things... So I will likely come back and try the cafe again. For now it's a 3/5. Hoping the next visit is a tastier one.

Your slices of gateaux are also very expensive and you don't get a good slice for that either. Ive always liked your place but I wouldn't come again. I havent been to Uncle Henrys for a few years so thought id try it again the weekend for breakfast. Very overpriced for what you get. The breakfast included tinned tomatoes and the bacon was more fat than bacon itself. As for the award winning sausages, they were chewy. Also you have to pay extra for toast so i dont think that over £10 for a "greasy spoon" style breakfast is worth it. I wouldnt rush back in a hurry as there are plenty of other places around that serve better food. Very disappointed.

I came across Uncle Henry's last year at the Lincoln Sausage Festival in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. Their sausages were used in a cooking demonstration and they had a stall. I was invited to visit the farm. I don't know what I was expecting. A shed selling farm produce. What I found was a very large complex, in the middle of nowhere. I decided on a burger, then when ordering, changed my mind, seeing pork chop on the board, weekend only. Person at the till surly and uncooperative. No waitress service. No,could not have toast. Check with kitchen. Then backed down. Water. Go and get it. Ordering the pork chop was a mistake. Tough. The chips looked disgusting, were disgusting. The fat on the pork chop was tasty, indicating maybe organic, maybe free range. I left the pork chop half eaten. Saved to give to the fox. The restaurant was like a supermarket cafe in Asda or Morrisons. A pleasant sunny courtyard with outside seating. In the shop, ham shrink wrapped in plastic. Why? Why not carve or slice where the cheese was cut to order? The lady manning the till for the fresh produce was friendly and helpful. The narrow road leading to the farm shop, an idiot drove towards us too fast as we were leaving, forcing us off the road onto the waterlogged grass verge. There needs to be a prominently displayed 20mph speed limit. If lived near Henry's, then useful for fresh produce. An hour round trip from Lincoln, no. Not when have Pepperdine's, Redhill Farm shop, Fresh from the Fields and a monthly farmers market.

Me and my husband have been buying uncle Henry’s sausages for quite a while from our local coop, but never been to the shop untill the other day. We was passing on the way back from seeing family so thought we’d call in for a late lunch. The farm shop shop was lovely, with quite a nice display of food and gifts. The butchery counter looked fab and we picked up a few flavours of sausage we don’t get from the coop, and the young man on the counter offered us a sample of the sausage of the month (Guinness and black pudding) which my husband absolutely loved, could you please get that one to our local coop. Unfortunately once we entered the cafe our experience went down hill. We both opted for the all day breakfast, and the lady on the till came across as quite rude when we asked to change an element of one of them and told us it was company policy. The next big shock was the price, it came to about £35 for two breakfast and two coffees. Which I thought was a bit steep. Having had uncle Henry’s sausages before at home, I am convinced they are either buying in rubbish cheap sausage for the cafe or that what we ate had been left over from breakfast and held all day. The sausage was so hard and rubbery, it really wasn’t pleasant at all. Especially for the prices they are charging I expected so much better. I will continue getting uncle Henry’s sausage from the coop but as for the cafe that will be the first and last visit, such a shame to let the place down like that as the rest of the shop was quite lovely.

First visit to uncle Henry’s the farm shop was nice with lots of variety of food, drinks and gifting and the children’s playground play area was nice. We decided to visit the cafe for a treat where we spent £25 on 2 chunky bacon sandwiches costing £7.50 each it was honestly the worst bacon sandwich we’ve ever eaten it had 2 rashers of bacon in it mostly fatty and undercooked it was cold too the bread was thick which would have been fine if filled with bacon but basically paid £7.50 for bread and butter it was disgraceful. I ordered a tea cake for my children which was burnt so picked apart to make it edible. Pot of tea was ok very expensive for tea and bread will not be returning. Waitress was friendly when we arrived giving my children some crayons and picture to colour but she didn’t return after neither did anyone ask us how the food was or say goodbye as we left I think they knew we were not impressed! We like to have farm shop food whenever possible, home or away, and passed this place on our way to our holiday cottage. The quality is very good indeed, with the meat coming from their own herd. It must be a popular place because the car park was full, and it was near closing time, and some items, like the pork pies were already sold out. The cheese and the eggs both come from local producers. We will be making a return trip on our way back home.

Yeah Uncle Henry's is pretty good. It's a little out of the way but that's fine if you're going out for lunch and you need the farm shop. I feel the menu is a little limited for lunch but the brunch menu if pretty good. As for shopping, they've got some interesting stuff but it's all a bit overpriced if I'm being honest. Example, if you wanted to get a garden hand trowel and fork you can buy them in pairs. One in a box with bees on it at £35, and another at £25. Both far to expensive when you can get them elsewhere separately for £4 each so £8. Theres no need for them to be so expensive. That's just 1 example and theres a few more if you look. I just think that if they reduced the price of some items that they might just sell a few more cos I cant see many people paying those prices.

Second visit to UH, we returned because dog friendly, food good (soup/sandwich combo) bacon, brie, cranberry panini however cost of a cup of tea is scandalous! Unlikely to return for drinks but maybe food.!

Wonderful farm shop with a cafe serving breakfast and lunches sat at traditional tables or if you prefer the snug for a quiet coffee and slice of cake or seat yourself outside in the courtyard. There is a play area for the children, again with outside seating so you can keep an eye on them and the "walled garden", seperate play area with a small admittance charge. The farm shop is full of local produce ,(They grow their own pork you know). And the other meats are from Lincolnshire too. The butchers know their stuff too in fact all the staff are very friendly. This is a totally flat site with disabled parking and lovely clean facilities. Dogs are permitted too but not in the shop area for obvious reasons

Uncle Henry’s is fab all round. Great local produce in the farm shop and staff are always on hand to help deal with any requests. The cafe is always worth a visit, with a good range of food and drinks options. On the day we visited the staff in the cafe (Amy, Katie and Will) were friendly, chatty, helpful and attentive to our needs. The food was great as always, especially the wedges 😊. Would highly recommend giving this gem of a place a visit.

Such a a disappointment today. I was at the cafe with my mother just looking for lunch. My elderly mother is temporarily on quite a restricted diet whilst undergoing hospital tests and I wanted to bring her to the cafe to cheer her up. I explained the problem and asked if it was possible just for my Mum to have cheese on toast or a cheese sandwich. The response was very disappointing - the answer was no, the staff member told us that we were not allowed to order anything that was not on the menu/ till. I am not sure why the cafe operates such a rigid policy. We had no option but to leave without ordering anything.

Such a gem we discovered.. Staff are absolutely brilliant. They were so busy but still welcomed us with a smile. The coffee is delicious.. Lovely bit of freehand art on top of my latte by Lewis. The bbq ribs and pork and apple burger were fab. The gift shop and variety in the farm shop is amazing.

Popped into the Farm shop to have a look at the Christmas bits they have in. The staff on the shop floor were lovely and made me feel so welcome. Special mention to Amy, Zara and Hannah, who are so lovely and chatty and made my day complimenting my Christmas jumper!!

Lovely farm shop with a restaurant, we found the restaurant menu a bit limited as we only wanted a light meal they had ciabattas and wraps that came with soup but was just looking for a sandwich, would recommend and worth a visit

Have attended Easter and Halloween ticketed events since 2020 so we know what to expect. Very disappointed this year. Was unfortunate that Maize Maze had to be cancelled but we were happy to get 50% discount and visit for trail and golf and get our pumpkin. Unfortunately there was no trail or golf. Just some decorations in the garden and the bouncing pillow. Also shocked to find that pumpkin wasn't included in ticket price like most other venues such as Pink Pig Farm and Tattershall Farm Park. So we ended up spending a total of £17 to drive all the way from Lincoln for a pumpkin and 2 minutes on a bouncy pillow. Gave up on the cafe too, couldn't even get dips with the wedges any more. Shame. Was refused a full refund. Shockingly bad customer service and attitude from the Manager. The standards have definitely dropped over our previous visit and we will not be coming back. Save your money and go to one of the many better venues in Lincoln.

So popped along to Uncle Henry's thought support a local business, staff in the shop extremely helpful, variety of goods plentiful and standard farm shop prices, we thought we would pop and see if we could grab some pumpkins as knew they had a pumpkin patch, grown up children no interest in a maze or activities just wanted a couple pumpkins to discover there's an entry fee of £3pp. . .to pick your own pumpkins, which may I add are ridiculously overpriced the smallest being £2.50 for 1 the size of a tennis ball, I get if you are using the maze, the activities etc yes entry fee to cover costs/staffing but not for grown adults just wanting to pick our own, turned around and went to morrisons and grabbed 3 for less than the entry fee for 1 adult

Lovely surroundings. Great butchery and local deli. The cafe was disappointing, though. We only ordered coffees, and our order was forgotten and needed prompting after 25 minutes... we had asked for flat whites, but realistically only got small white coffees. It was a lot to pay for a pretty poor experience. The food looked nice, but the prices were in the £10+ bracket for a main course and £6 for a slice of cake!!

We went to uncle Henry's for the the Halloween event. We booked and unfortunately it flooded the day before so they called us to say the maize maize was shut but everything else was going on as normal,so they gave us 50% discount. However was quite disappointed when we got there,it was a few scattered Halloween decorations before the pumpkin patch and that was it not as disclosed on promotion. I paid £8 for two small pumpkins. Even at 50% it was not worth it. The farm shop was lovely but again very pricey comparative to other farm shops we've visited.

Although the farm shop is well stocked with a wide variety of produce my good points end there. The wait in the café for just three hot drinks was too long but your queuing system or lack of left much to be desired. On payment of goods I found myself trapped trying to get to the cashier whilst she merrily served customers coming through the entrance. All in all you have some way to go to get a five star review.

We popped in to Uncle Henry's as we needed a nice artisan loaf for our planned lunch of cheese and pickles, and we plumped for what was labelled a "Sourdough" loaf. Back at the ranch we were a little disappointed on slicing said loaf as it was the least sourdoughy we've ever encountered. The crumb was tight and not at all open as it should characteristically be and the crust, if you could call it that, was soft to the touch - no crust at all! I said to Mrs Wanderer that maybe the loaf had been mislabelled and she quipped in return that I was being overly generous! A disappointing loaf to say the least from what is normally an excellent farm shop.

Returned for drinks thinking the wishing well was under new management. We were greeted,or not should I say by the same unenthusiastic Barman of previous. With the same clientele outside, loud vile men and woman rushing back and forth to there cars consuming various drug paraphernalia. All the optics empty and no syrup drinks available. Me my wife and my daughter ended up going home and sitting in the garden. We live over the road after moving to the village last year. We heard grown men woman and children until close and heard them all leaving in the cars they arrived in. The same cars Friday and Saturday occupy the car park. We only fear the inevitable accident that will happen. With so many people present while drunk driving happens. 2 weeks ago we were in the fish and chip shop when 2 of these pulled up on the pavement outside to greet there friends in the public house. These are grown men acting like children.
