Uncle Henry’s came highly recommend to us somewhere we hadn’t heard of but passed the turning many times in the past. We called in for a late lunch, what a wonderful surprise a gem of a place. The farm shop and in house butchers selling high quality meat and vegetables freezers stocked with high quality specialty frozen dishes of various types . The shop has a fresh meat counter with glass display another for cheese and pies scotch eggs, cold meats and well stocked shelves with all manner of produce . Then through to the restaurant/ Cafe a good selection on the menu and reasonably priced, but Uncle Henry's provide very fresh food of an outstanding quality and very generous portions . The staff are attentive friendly and its service with a smile. We would recommend Uncle Henry’s if you haven’t already been , a safe and enclosed play area for children abundant parking electric car charging facilities and immaculate toilets. Well worth a visit to uncle Henry’s truly outstanding .

Shop section looks great. Good quality items and a nice selection. Friendly staff. Good butchery counter! Currently trying to avoid carbs, so wanted to order a breakfast of only bacon and eggs. The lady tried putting it through the till as scrambled egg on toast, no toast, extra bacon extra egg... £13?! Glad I questioned it and said not to bother. Hubby ordered a full English with extra egg and bacon in the side. Considerably cheaper at £6. The bacon was really nice but the scrambled eggs were awful. Very wet, soaked a lot of water up with a napkin but they were still inedible. So I ended paying £6 for 4 bacon medallions 🤣 That being said, the staff were great, they asked if there was something wrong because I'd not eaten and offered me a refund which was considerate but I politely declined. I have heard good things... So I will likely come back and try the cafe again. For now it's a 3/5. Hoping the next visit is a tastier one.

Overpriced, not much taste to food.In response to your reply as I can't seem to send any other way. I had fish finger paninni, it tasted very bland and was overcooked. The bread you use for paninis is a doughy processed thing that you me is nothing like a paninni. So sorry for the review but for £10 it wasn't very nice. Your slices of gateaux are also very expensive and you don't get a good slice for that either. Ive always liked your place but I wouldn't come again. I know prices have gone up for goods but I would rather pay more and have good quality ingredients. I think that's what people expect from your place. Thanks

I havent been to Uncle Henrys for a few years so thought id try it again the weekend for breakfast. Very overpriced for what you get. The breakfast included tinned tomatoes and the bacon was more fat than bacon itself. As for the award winning sausages, they were chewy. Also you have to pay extra for toast so i dont think that over £10 for a "greasy spoon" style breakfast is worth it. I wouldnt rush back in a hurry as there are plenty of other places around that serve better food. Very disappointed.

I came across Uncle Henry's last year at the Lincoln Sausage Festival in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. Their sausages were used in a cooking demonstration and they had a stall. I was invited to visit the farm. I don't know what I was expecting. A shed selling farm produce. What I found was a very large complex, in the middle of nowhere. I decided on a burger, then when ordering, changed my mind, seeing pork chop on the board, weekend only. Person at the till surly and uncooperative. No waitress service. No,could not have toast. Check with kitchen. Then backed down. Water. Go and get it. Ordering the pork chop was a mistake. Tough. The chips looked disgusting, were disgusting. The fat on the pork chop was tasty, indicating maybe organic, maybe free range. I left the pork chop half eaten. Saved to give to the fox. The restaurant was like a supermarket cafe in Asda or Morrisons. A pleasant sunny courtyard with outside seating. In the shop, ham shrink wrapped in plastic. Why? Why not carve or slice where the cheese was cut to order? The lady manning the till for the fresh produce was friendly and helpful. The narrow road leading to the farm shop, an idiot drove towards us too fast as we were leaving, forcing us off the road onto the waterlogged grass verge. There needs to be a prominently displayed 20mph speed limit. If lived near Henry's, then useful for fresh produce. An hour round trip from Lincoln, no. Not when have Pepperdine's, Redhill Farm shop, Fresh from the Fields and a monthly farmers market.

This was a funny one, so I’m off carbs and had just scrambled eggs on toast. But without the toast and they still charged a tenner. But oh well, the coffee was nice, that place is always full of mums and kids and the elderly and there was even a man on his laptop. 💻 I know it was half term but there were kids everywhere and that doesn’t bother me it was quite sweet. The best thing was Jennifer doing the tables she was lovely and the atmosphere was good. The farm shop was a little cluttersed I shouldn’t fancy trying to wheel a pushchair through there! Thanks anyway. The butchery bit looked great too. Yea. Nice place.

We like to have farm shop food whenever possible, home or away, and passed this place on our way to our holiday cottage. The quality is very good indeed, with the meat coming from their own herd. It must be a popular place because the car park was full, and it was near closing time, and some items, like the pork pies were already sold out. The cheese and the eggs both come from local producers. We will be making a return trip on our way back home.

Yeah Uncle Henry's is pretty good. It's a little out of the way but that's fine if you're going out for lunch and you need the farm shop. I feel the menu is a little limited for lunch but the brunch menu if pretty good. As for shopping, they've got some interesting stuff but it's all a bit overpriced if I'm being honest. Example, if you wanted to get a garden hand trowel and fork you can buy them in pairs. One in a box with bees on it at £35, and another at £25. Both far to expensive when you can get them elsewhere separately for £4 each so £8. Theres no need for them to be so expensive. That's just 1 example and theres a few more if you look. I just think that if they reduced the price of some items that they might just sell a few more cos I cant see many people paying those prices.

Wonderful farm shop with a cafe serving breakfast and lunches sat at traditional tables or if you prefer the snug for a quiet coffee and slice of cake or seat yourself outside in the courtyard. There is a play area for the children, again with outside seating so you can keep an eye on them and the "walled garden", seperate play area with a small admittance charge. The farm shop is full of local produce ,(They grow their own pork you know). And the other meats are from Lincolnshire too. The butchers know their stuff too in fact all the staff are very friendly. This is a totally flat site with disabled parking and lovely clean facilities. Dogs are permitted too but not in the shop area for obvious reasons

Such a a disappointment today. I was at the cafe with my mother just looking for lunch. My elderly mother is temporarily on quite a restricted diet whilst undergoing hospital tests and I wanted to bring her to the cafe to cheer her up. I explained the problem and asked if it was possible just for my Mum to have cheese on toast or a cheese sandwich. The response was very disappointing - the answer was no, the staff member told us that we were not allowed to order anything that was not on the menu/ till. I am not sure why the cafe operates such a rigid policy. We had no option but to leave without ordering anything.

Have attended Easter and Halloween ticketed events since 2020 so we know what to expect. Very disappointed this year. Was unfortunate that Maize Maze had to be cancelled but we were happy to get 50% discount and visit for trail and golf and get our pumpkin. Unfortunately there was no trail or golf. Just some decorations in the garden and the bouncing pillow. Also shocked to find that pumpkin wasn't included in ticket price like most other venues such as Pink Pig Farm and Tattershall Farm Park. So we ended up spending a total of £17 to drive all the way from Lincoln for a pumpkin and 2 minutes on a bouncy pillow. Gave up on the cafe too, couldn't even get dips with the wedges any more. Shame. Was refused a full refund. Shockingly bad customer service and attitude from the Manager. The standards have definitely dropped over our previous visit and we will not be coming back. We popped in to Uncle Henry's as we needed a nice artisan loaf for our planned lunch of cheese and pickles, and we plumped for what was labelled a "Sourdough" loaf. Back at the ranch we were a little disappointed on slicing said loaf as it was the least sourdoughy we've ever encountered. The crumb was tight and not at all open as it should characteristically be and the crust, if you could call it that, was soft to the touch - no crust at all! I said to Mrs Wanderer that maybe the loaf had been mislabelled and she quipped in return that I was being overly generous! A disappointing loaf to say the least from what is normally an excellent farm shop.

Nice place, decent sized gift shop but everything is expensive including the food. Each time I've been there has been a long wait for seemingly easy to prepare meals even taking into account how many customers were already in the cafe and how many were already eating, so there is perhaps an organisational issue. The food always looks good, however I was particularly disappointed this time hence this review - I waited a long time for a bacon, brie and cranberry ciabata and when it came the cheese was one end and the cranberry was all at the other. I could have broken a tooth on the edge of the bacon. I just felt let down. Also you always end up finishing your drinks well before the food arrives - see the photo, it's not the first time. Shame to write this but have been before and now I likely won't go back. If you want something that's pre-prepared like a cake slice and a coffee then it's fine.

Tinned tomatoes, tinned mushrooms, sausages that were so overcooked the skins were like rubber and insides shrivelled, hash browns missed, clumps of burnt beans, really hard fried potatoes. Terrible lack of service and no customer service at all! I took my 3 year old granddaughter here for lunch. I ordered her a mini mezze, a cold plate with hummus and carrot sticks. Simple I thought as my granddaughter was hungry. We sat and waited and waited. I tried desperately to keep her amused she kept saying very loudly she was hungry. We coloured and drew pictures. Horrid people nearby kept looking at us as she kept saying she was hungry. I felt they were thinking I hadn't bought anything for her. After 40 minutes a very long time for a little child. I went up to the counter to ask I reminded the server it was a cold dish!. She went to the kitchen and came back and told me the docket hadn't gone through to the kitchen and then gave me a refund. I could not face a further wait with my granddaughter so upset and all the people looking at us. We walked out and all the way my granddaughter was crying saying she was hungry. A small sorry didn't help at all! Needless to say I shall not be returning to such a terrible, uncaring and inefficient restaurant ! Perhaps a supervisor should watch tables more closely if dockets get so easily lost??!!!!!

We wanted the cakes and drinks together so we stopped eating our cakes to wait for the drinks to arrive. The cafe area was not busy at all, there was only 1 other table occupied when we sat down so we cannot understand why it took so long. This review is on the cafe alone. The drive off the main road to Uncle Henry’s is fabulous, such gorgeous views all the way to the main entrance. On our first visit for lunch today and was very tasty home cooked food. Everything was delicious with quality ingredients which was very enjoyable. Really nice & friendly staff and such a great selection of gifts and food counters to browse around. Will definitely use more often now we’ve finally visited after passes by so many times.

Great food and place. Service was really poor, they we very busy but forget our order, had to clean own table after asking several times to be cleared. Waited 1.5 hours for food TBF had been told 45 mins but had to go back to check and had no record. Was resolved but not service I would expect. Very chaotic service!

We drove past Uncle Henry's yesterday and enticed by great Google reviews decided to stop for a lunch on our way back. We were not disappointed. The place was busy, but not overcrowded. The atmosphere was relaxed and staff was very friendly and attentive. The food quality was exceptional, it was fresh and the portions very generous. The pork and apple burger was delicious and the potato wedges were the best ones we've had so far! Worth every penny. We then bought a few things from the shop and so far we can confirm that the caramelised onion sausage rolls were very tasty and the strawberries were sweet and juicy. We will be definitely going back again.

We visited for Halloween and I have to say it was fantastic, they had made a real effort with pumpkin carving equipment, bouncy castle type entertainment, burgers. And choose your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, great fun and we loved the maze. The only downside we visited the farm shop and gift shop and I the prices were very expensive and didn’t feel it offered value for money. The park is great for kids with go carts to keep them entertained. On the whole we enjoyed our day and would happily return.

Terrible smell again today of sewers been a few weeks ago and called them privately about it but it’s obviously an ongoing problem with the smell being there again! It’s off putting when you are eating so will definitely leave it and not go back.they need to get it sorted out.

We visited the farm shop last week, mainly for meat from the butchery. Everything we bought has been excellent. Good value, well presented/prepared and great quality. An error happened at the till which we did not notice until we got home. A sign of a good business is how they deal with issues. Uncle Henry’s were fantastic. Sorted out the problem quickly, no fuss, no bother. Thank you.

Probably not the cheapest lunch in town but certainly one of the best. The ploughmans had me stuffed and the quiche my dining partner had was clearly homemade and delicious. The wedges are something they are known for and are worth the visit alone. Service was not fussy but was excellent. Will be visiting again!

Thought we would try here for breakfast Saturday morning, as we were near by , sat at the table, couldnt believe the prices!! £10 for an English breakfast - not a full one, black pudding and toast are extras! £9 for 2 slices of toast with a tiny portion of grey, scrambled egg and smoked salmon, the eggs were not creamy, quite over done, rubbery, £3.60 for a latte Had to sit with our coats on as it was too cold to take off Staff never asked if food was ok, looked at the farmshop after the disappointing breakfast, the prices of items, are extortionate , we have seen same produce in somewhere like Bakewell for half the prices they charge -

Disappointing first visit. Had a 13:30 entry to be told after 2pm that last entry to the maze was at 2pm. This wasn’t in our booking email so missed out. Crazy golf looked dreadful so ultimately paid for a ticket for a bounce on a jumping pillow. Paid extra to pumpkin pick but this was also underwhelming - just a small corner with one size, one type of pumpkins. No fun for kids. Food average . Good coffee and friendly staff though. Wouldn’t come back here
