Once upon a time, Uncle Henry’s used to be one of the go-to places in North Lincolnshire for a tasty and quality lunch. But it seems much has changed. Lunch today was mediocre at best, little better than a motorway cafe. The ham and cheese panini I ordered had lots of lovely ham in it, but the cheese had been skimped on (or perhaps had oozed out) and what was there had congealed into a blob of rubbery nothingness. It was accompanied by bulk-buy, poor quality coleslaw and an extremely mean salad. My daughter’s kids’ meal was a fresh out of the freezer offering I could’ve picked up in Iceland. Which would have all been fair if the price was low, but it was most definitely not! On top of this, the ladies at the till and the young girls serving the tables all appeared bored out of their minds. There were no smiles, no cheeriness, and the air of the place was that everything was an effort and nobody really cared. Such a shame when you consider how wonderful the place used to be for food.

Essentially a disappointment. We have come periodically over a number of years and have had some lovely meals over that time with food that that was at a level in terms of sourcing with the produce sold in the farm shop, which was of good quality. Fast forward to today. Monosyllabic replies from staff who gave the impression they would rather be anywhere else than actually serving customers. A child’s portion of Chicken Goujons and chips which were tasteless and clearly a rapid heat up from frozen job and a Ham and Cheese Panini which was sadly pretty much sans cheese as it had either almost entirely leaked out or not enough been put in initially, the side salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, a bit of cucumber and a halved cherry tomato with no dressing and the coleslaw was frankly unpleasant, certainly giving the impression of coming from a large tub of lower end produce! For the above and 2 drinks the cost was £28. It’s not necessarily the price it’s just the poor quality of food given fairly high expectations from previous experiences along with the impression no one really cares! Home made coleslaw, a dressed salad with more interesting variations in it and staff who don’t hand out a panini which clearly should have been redone, would be a reasonable starting point. This used to be somewhere where you could guarantee a nice lunch, not the case now, as far as we experienced.

Pros and cons from my visit with friends today. On the upside a lovely farm shop, great outdoor space for children and ample parking. On the down side we all (3 people) ordered the sausage sub £7.95 and requested mushrooms. One might expect an addition of £1 or even £1.50 (per butty) at a push to add mushrooms given that you can buy a full punnet for 89p However £2.50 additional charge (per butty) for what appeared to be a token singular mushroom per roll. To top it all said butties were barely warm. I can’t deny they were good sausages but I felt right royally ripped off having paid £7.50 for 3 mushrooms and would think twice about going again.

Fantastic tea room/restaurant for all ages and dogs. Farm shop had plenty of great options, loads of different food types and cute trinkets or gift ideas. The staff were lovley, kind and efficient. Expensive prices but good value for money, food and drinks were tasty! Toilets were beautiful, extremely clean and just by the restaurant. They also had extra seating outside. The whole place is definitely good for disabled users, car park had plenty of room and a kids playground outside. I would recommend this place for a nice day out or spending some time with loved ones.

Excellent place, our first visit. Very disabled friendly from the easy parking, sliding automatic doors, lack of awful gravel and easy slopes with wide aisles. Husband uses either crutches or small mobility buggy and we both said that this is the place to definitely visit again, that is even without the lovely food of generous proportions, the tempting farm shop and friendly staff. Most definitely 5stars

Ate here yesterday as I hadn’t been for quite some time & my friend had never visited before, so on a gorgeous sunny afternoon we called in. After a quick browse round the gift section we placed our food order with the lovely, friendly lady at the desk, chose our drinks & then our table. We were quite late on so there were not many people eating when we arrived. Our Quiche Lorraine, salad & wedges was soon served & we both tucked in. Beautifully warm quiche & tasty wedges. We both had cold drinks & thoroughly enjoyed our meal …very tasty & well presented. The staff we spoke to were very welcoming & we both look forward to eating here again soon. Highly recommend a visit to anyone who likes fresh, well prepared food & lovely surroundings..thank you Uncle Henry’s!

Had breakfast here with my son the breakfast was average. Overpriced for what it was and £2.50 for 2 slices of toast is seriously taking the piss. At £10.95 for a average breakfast it should come with toast and a cup of tea ! The staff are polite enough in the cafe. So two breakfast and 2 teas plus toast £30.30 seriously not worth the money. Meal terrible. Three of us had lunch. Two people had bacon and brie panini's and the other had a bacon roll. There was more fat than bacon. It wasn't even near crispy but pure white fat on all three meals which we left in a pile on our plates. The bread roll was dry and what little bacon there was, it was pretty tasteless. Explained this to one of the staff members who's answer was "we're having some problems with the pigs and other people have made the same comments recently". Not quite sure what they meant? They said that they would tell the kitchen and someone will come out to us but this didn't happen. Also had three large latte's which were cold. Very disappointed.

Uncle Henry's is an absolute gem for families! The farm shop is a foodie's paradise, boasting a fantastic selection of fresh produce, mouthwatering meats from the butchery, and delicious treats from the bakery. It's a one-stop shop for all your culinary needs. But the fun doesn't stop there! The outdoor area is a child's dream come true. The giant maze is a thrilling adventure, while the fairy trails spark imaginations. The jumping pillow is a guaranteed hit, and the crazy golf course offers a fun challenge for all ages. There's also a large play area, perfect for burning off energy. Plenty of parking makes access a breeze, and with so many activities on offer, there's something to keep everyone entertained. Went on Friday October half term with my grandson. Expected it to be busy and it was. Went around the "behind the wall" experience which was awful, no fairy trail, couldn't find the mini mazes, only a few pumpkins left and extremely expensive, most other venues offer one free pumpkin with entry price (rand farm was amazing). Decided to go for lunch, it was busy in the cafe but we ordered promptly and waited, (no mention of a waiting time on food). 30 minutes past and I enquired as to where my grandsons cheese sandwich was from his prepacked box as they were the only item unavailable from the counter, a toddler cannot wait 30 minutes. 10 minutes later his arrived if it takes 40 minutes to make two cheese finger sandwiches something is amiss. Our panninis arrived a further 10 minutes later, thrown on the table service with a grimmace. My Bacon was cold and mostly rind and inedible so I asked for my money back, which took a further 12 minutes to complete. Had been highly reccomended but will stick to rand farm in future.

Called at the farm shop for some bits and bobs after we had visited a few weeks ago and got some really nice food. Asked for 1 1/2lb of minced beef confused the young lad serving who got his phone out to convert pounds into grammes We got 534g it should have been 680g (It was put on a tray instead of in a bag and lo and behold the weight of the tray is included so not even 534g of meat!!) Sausage rolls on offer 3 for £4 but got charged £4.80 ! plus bought some other stuff so didn’t realise until we got home how bad the mistakes were. They really need to train the staff better here. It’s a shame because it looks like a very nice place.

Good quality, good service, friendly staff but remains overpriced for the area. However the recent introduction of a 'bike rack' in a completely insecure position, ready made for bike thieves (out of sight of anyone eating there) and proximity to the car park for a snatch and grab, make it no longer viable for a cycling stop. I'm not leaving a £5,000 bike out the front where it can be stolen when theres a perfectly good internal courtyard which has been used for years. Its ultimately up to the owners but losing the trips of hundreds of cyclists you would think would be a bigger concern.

Called in for some quality food to take self-catering, and also to have lunch on the journey and wasn’t disappointed. This is a well appointed shop selling quality food and other items with a cafe attached. A tip- the people of Lincolnshire it seems are very, very generous with their portions. I had the pork belly, anticipating two strips or similar. A perfectly cooked colossal piece of pork was served which was out of this world but must have been over a pound of meat. I finished it but needed a lie down when I got in! All the produce we are there and bought to take with us was delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Popped in for a quick brunch expecting the usual farm shop/cafe offerings but I was blown away by the choice and offerings of dishes made with fresh local produce. The member of staff who served me (Katie?) went above and beyond to explain the menu and the provenance of the dishes, this lady really is a credit to the establishment. I decided to go totally out of my comfort zone and ordered an absolutely delicious fish finger panini, great value and really tasty. The coffee was perfect, a flat white with velvety milk, not lots of foam as many places seem to serve as a flat white but thats totally wrong, I was also please to hear about how the coffee is ethically grown and sourced. The only negative thing I have to say is about other customers moaning about nothing, how the staff put up with them I really don’t know. Would I return again? Most definitely, the food, the value and the surrounding and all 10/10 plus if the staff are all as good as Katie this place cannot be beaten.

Uncle Henry’s came highly recommend to us somewhere we hadn’t heard of but passed the turning many times in the past. We called in for a late lunch, what a wonderful surprise a gem of a place. The farm shop and in house butchers selling high quality meat and vegetables freezers stocked with high quality specialty frozen dishes of various types . The shop has a fresh meat counter with glass display another for cheese and pies scotch eggs, cold meats and well stocked shelves with all manner of produce . Then through to the restaurant/ Cafe a good selection on the menu and reasonably priced, but Uncle Henry's provide very fresh food of an outstanding quality and very generous portions . The staff are attentive friendly and its service with a smile. We would recommend Uncle Henry’s if you haven’t already been , a safe and enclosed play area for children abundant parking electric car charging facilities and immaculate toilets. Well worth a visit to uncle Henry’s truly outstanding .

Shop section looks great. Good quality items and a nice selection. Friendly staff. Good butchery counter! Currently trying to avoid carbs, so wanted to order a breakfast of only bacon and eggs. The lady tried putting it through the till as scrambled egg on toast, no toast, extra bacon extra egg... £13?! Glad I questioned it and said not to bother. Hubby ordered a full English with extra egg and bacon in the side. Considerably cheaper at £6. The bacon was really nice but the scrambled eggs were awful. Very wet, soaked a lot of water up with a napkin but they were still inedible. So I ended paying £6 for 4 bacon medallions 🤣 That being said, the staff were great, they asked if there was something wrong because I'd not eaten and offered me a refund which was considerate but I politely declined. I have heard good things... So I will likely come back and try the cafe again. For now it's a 3/5. Hoping the next visit is a tastier one.

Overpriced, not much taste to food.In response to your reply as I can't seem to send any other way. I had fish finger paninni, it tasted very bland and was overcooked. The bread you use for paninis is a doughy processed thing that you me is nothing like a paninni. So sorry for the review but for £10 it wasn't very nice. Your slices of gateaux are also very expensive and you don't get a good slice for that either. Ive always liked your place but I wouldn't come again. I know prices have gone up for goods but I would rather pay more and have good quality ingredients. I think that's what people expect from your place. Thanks

We visited today for the bunny borrow and to visit behind the garden wall, my kids absolutely loved it, they really enjoyed playing the games before meeting Mrs Easter bunny and they loved bouncing on the big air pillow thing, and playing mini golf. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with all questions I had. We didn't have any food there just drinks but the cafe was lovely and the staff all took part in the Easter fun. Thankyou for making our Easter memorable.

I havent been to Uncle Henrys for a few years so thought id try it again the weekend for breakfast. Very overpriced for what you get. The breakfast included tinned tomatoes and the bacon was more fat than bacon itself. As for the award winning sausages, they were chewy. Also you have to pay extra for toast so i dont think that over £10 for a "greasy spoon" style breakfast is worth it. I wouldnt rush back in a hurry as there are plenty of other places around that serve better food. Very disappointed.

We had lunch here today. I had scampi and my mum had Hunters Chicken. The pub is well situated on a corner in the lovely quiet village of Blyton. They do a lunch club in the week which gives you a discount I think. The menu is large with a food choice from sandwiches and jacket potato to full mains including fajitas and curry to traditional pies and sausages. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The portion was big! They serve proper chips too, not frozen chips which was nice. I had a nice portion of scampi and the mushy peas were straight out of a chip shop. Tasty and reasonably priced. If you're after a nice quiet pub meal which is hearty and honest I'd say it's a great place to eat or celebrate. The menu also had an under 12s section for the kids. Parking is around the back and they do accommodation too.

I often come here with either my mum or friends and we love it every single time. Great value for money. Considering we order a lite bite, we feel so full afterwards. Definitely recommend it as the food tastes absolutely delicious and the customer service is amazing. The pub itself is also a really good atmosphere
