Friends came over for the day, so we decided to treat them to lunch at the Clickem, as in the past we always enjoyed eating there. We ordered x4 meals , 2x liver 1x fish & 1x Hunters chicken. The chicken was uncuttable, chips on x2 plates were over cooked, crispy and very bitty. Fish was greasy peas like bullets. The liver was tough & stringy. We told the table sever how we all felt about the meals, shoulders were shrugged, The bill was full price! Upon a lighter note the "Old Peculiar" was wonderful, but as driving had to restrict myself to just the one pint. We wonder why staff are told to ask if everything is ok but do not know what to do is the reply is NOT ?

Lovely cosy pub, friendly relaxed atmosphere. (Advise booking as only very small place). Chips are amazing. I had salmon with white wine sauce which was delicious. Ample serving of salmon plus 3 veg and did I mention the chips! Hubby had fish and chips which he was extremely happy with, hard to please him usually but light crisp batter and chunky chips made him a happy eater. And the real Ale. Definitely recommend a visit. We will be definitely going back!

Our ongoing search of the perfect Sunday lunch bought us to the Click’em, a place many locals rave about, although these recommendations are based on its real ale selection. On arrival we were seated in the conservatory, which gave the day a cafeteria feel to it. We like to compare value and quality of food over three courses, unfortunately starters were not an option, so that reduced it to two. I like to order beef as a main each week, sadly this option was crossed from the board while I still perused the menu. Next best offering was pork, so an order for two was promptly placed. Any excitement over the food order quickly diminished once it arrived, my wife and I stared over the table at each other in disbelief, at least 80% of the meal had been provided courtesy of Aunt Bessie, if not more. The taste and texture was exactly as you can imagine, neither meal was finished and needless to say dessert was skipped. I’m sure there is a customer base for this kind of offering, unfortunately it’s not for me.

We dined here on 29th Oct as a large group of 11 people. We’re holidaying in Thorganby and this pub is 2 miles from where we’re at and the closest pub. The food here is top class. Being a large family we’re accustomed to, when we dine out, someone’s meal being forgotten or mistaken by the restaurant but not here. Every meal was served as requested. Every meal was delicious and cooked beautifully We loved it so much we returned for lunch today on Oct 31st only to realise it was closed until 5pm (our fault for not checking!) but we’re determined by hook or by crook to return here before we head home. Definitely recommend coming here.

I am reluctant to give this place a good review as it is busy enough all ready and if I say how good it is it will be busier than ever. I have just enjoyed a wonderful anniversary lunch with my family. First we were 12, then 10, then this am back to 12, but Terry sorted it all out and fitted us in. As always the food and the lovely staff made it the best place to be for our celebration.

Me and my husband came in for a quick meal out last night and just wanted a lovely, easy pub. We stopped off at the Click'em Inn in Swinhope and boy o boy were we surprised. The staff seemed very welcoming and friendly which was great but my god, the steaks me and my husband ordered were absolutely delicious. We were told a younger man was cooking on the night to fill in for the chefs so we were cautious but he defiantly delivered a perfectly cooked steak, Keep it up young man!

We went to the Inn for Sunday Lunch as a party of four. It was very busy, very glad we had booked. Staff were very welcoming and our table was immediately available. Service was prompt and cheerful. Our food, mostly roast beef, was very good and, for topside, not at all tough. Vegetables were plentiful and Yorkshire puddings were just right. We thought the prices were very reasonable and very good value for money.

Was shocked at how bad the food was as previously had nice meals there! Really decent Pub otherwise! Ate as a group and most disappointed! My duck was cooked terribly! The term ‘Old leather boots’ doesn’t even come close! Duck skin should be scored for a start! Presentation wise… Looked like it had been trampled in the car park, before being nooked to death … Felt bad for the animal to have died to end up like that!! Have a carrot allergy, told staff when ordering but meal arrived with carrots.. easy mistake but still.. Mums Liver was overcooked dry and tough! One in the group ordered a steak pie.. usually known to be good at The Clickem… they left the meat filling! Have eat there before and had fish and chips.. was lovely! Maybe chef has been changed or having a bad moment! Really was a shame as it’s a nice pub, good location (country and quaint,) decent choice of drinks, rums, wine beers! Good pool table, characterful regulars, friendly bar staff! Functions and Rooms available etc.. Was reimbursed without issue for the duck! Will sure return but only for drink!

We visited the Click'em Inn for the first time on Wednesday evening. We went ther just to see what it was like as it will soon be our nearest local pub. We were not expecting anything special. We couldn't have been more wrong. Our first surprise was the amount of choice on the menu, a huge specials board as well as a standard printed menu, again with a wide choice of dishes. And the first time I have ever seen this, a page dedicated to vegetarians and vegans, instead of having to search through a menu for one predicatable dish on offer. We only had one course, but obviously freshly cooked with delicious vegetables. A very generous portion too. The staff were friendly and helpful , and there was a lovely atmosphere. I can't wait to move house so we can visit on a regular basis. What a wonderful find!

Visited with friends recently for an evening meal during these Covid times. On arrival social distancing measures where in place and we were greeted by what at first was a grumpy landlord (I realised later it was just a case of the times we live in now and he cheered up). The premises themselves are basic and the staff were all friendly. The food when it arrived was in generous portions to say the least with my wife's steak pie having large pieces of meat in it. The food was hot, well cooked and very tasty. We all agreed if you wanted well cooked large portions of food at very reasonable prices then The Click'Em Inn is the place to be. It was our 1st time for a couple of months as work as prevented us coming. We had a long wait for the starters and the excuse was, we’ve been very busy. The starters (fried mushrooms) were OK, but not fantastic and I guess, simply cooked in a fryer, so isn’t too time consuming. The were editable but the garlic mayo was delicious. For mains, we had ribeye steak and venison steak, what ever oil is used is disgusting and leaves an after taste. I ate my venison, but my partner couldn’t eat the ribeye as it was awful and tasted foul. I had a taste and I must admit, it was disgusting! So what an earth has happened, I’m not too sure. I guess it’s changed hands or something, but not good as it used to be! So would we go again? I doubt it very much, unless something major happens to the food!

I arranged to meet some friends for a meal. Initial impressions are not good as the place has a run down and generally unclean air to it. My immediate response was it was like walking back into 1977. The bar staff were reasonably friendly so we did elect to stay. The menu was fairly uninspiring so I selected the Fish and chips as the safe option. It took 20 minutes for the staff to tell us two of our selections were "off" and in general see ice was slow. The knife and fork provided were not clean with a film of food residue over them, attention is needed to the dish washer cleanliness. The food when it arrived was not particularly well presented with a very 70's side salad. The fish was not great over cooked at the thin end and underdone at the thick one and I suspect new oil in the fryer would be a benefit as it tasted slightly stale. All in all not somewhere I would recommend, there is better food and atmosphere to be found in the area so I won't be returning.

We were told to take a seat in the snug. We finished our drinks fast and I explained we couldn't eat there as we had been made to feel unwelcome and awkward. On entering from the car park you pass the toilets with the doors open; not the most welcoming of views. You go through a small seating area dominated by a pool table to a rather small and slightly shabby bar area. We were seated in the conservatory which was rather reminiscent of a 1970's Little Chef, grey painted brickwork, rather tired carpets and no blinds or curtains. The food itself was excellent; fresh seasonal vegetables and generous portions. Service was polite and friendly. Would we go back? I really don't know. If we do, it will be for the food and certainly not for the surroundings!

We have been using this friendly country pub for some time now and have never been let down. The food especially the steak pie is to die for.The ales are real ales and very well kept as many CAMRA awards will testify. The Click,em is set in the most beautiful surroundings of rural Lincolnshire and is a well used meeting place for various rambling and cycling clubs. The car park is massive, there is plenty of room for everyone providing you all do not want to park near the door.To sum up we are more then happy with to use the place almost exclusively. This is my first ever report and it is not my wish to question others but some of them seem very far fetched to me including the one that advised people to use the Blacksmiths instead, that hostelry has just been awarded zero marks for cleanliness by the local health authority.

Muy bien cocinado comida, abundante, bien presentada y a un precio muy razonable, excelente relación de hecho. Hay una buena selección de cervezas para complementar la comida. On the last night of our stay in the area 10 of our party decided to eat at the pub, the food was OK as far as pub food goes and not over priced. Would we rush to return, probably not. When the food eventually arrived it was only luke warm and looked as though the plates had been stood out for a while. We informed the waitress who informed the 'chef' to be told she was 'very surprised' it wasn't hot. No other solution was offered and we were charged the full amount for the food even though much of it wasn't eaten. If it hadn't been for the fact that this was a family event, I would have got up and walked out and refused to pay. Myself and none of my party will ever be visiting again!

There was 6 in the party and we all had chosen a main course for the extensive chose! The special board was good too, full of too much temptation! We had drinks outside first and then went in to choose from the menus. The service was outstanding and very attentive! The food was out of this world and so tasty, wholesome and hot. Presentation was great and food, well you couldn't pick fault with it at all! Portions are great too. Waiting on staff where very good and pleasant. We sat in the conservatory and had a great view of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Overall, a huge success to such an amazing night with such awesome food and service and certainly didn't break the bank!!!!! So would we go again, most definitely and can't wait to go!

Beautiful old traditional pub that does amazing food. Very busy service excellent. The steak pie is the DEEPEST pie I have ever seen crammed full of beautiful succulent steak come with seasonal veg chips or potatoes. My husband couldn't finish it and that's a first. I had scampi not a lot you can day scampi is what it is. Next time and there will be a next time I am going to try there new slow cooked lamb. Reasonably priced for what you get excellent service and lovely ambience. A place not to be missec

Enjoyed a great Sunday lunch with friends and family. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The portions are plentiful to say the least. I have never seen such a large piece of well cooked gammon steak on a plate, almost too much. The steak pie is full of meat, not one of those gravy filled pies you get in some places. The scampi too is good; proper scampi, not the watery batter pieces you can get elsewhere. Altogether a super lunch.

I visited with my Mum on Sunday. We have been on a few occasions before and one again we were not disappointed. Superb home cooked food and plentiful portions all at a very reasonable price. I had the home made chicken and ham pie which was a very generous portion served with mash, roast potatoes and fresh carrotts, peas and cabbage, Mum had the Sunday beef which came with the same potatoes and veg plus a Yorkshire pudding. We sat in the very pleasant conservatory. Friendly staff too and would thoroughly recommend

Superb food and hospitality. Very good value for money. I would highly recommend this venue. All the food is home cooking and I could not fault it on the two occasions we have eaten there.

As part of The Grimsby Triathlon club we use this venue often and have done so for many years. We have always been supported by Terry and his dad. We often go in after our event the staff are friendly, the food is very tasty, portions are generous and whether we are 10 or 20 + we are always served in reasonable time. We appreciate having the use of the car park for our events, If we have caused any issues to the Click'em with our parking I can only apologise. We would like to thank Terry and his team for their continued support. Alan Cook events organiser of Grimsby Tri Club.

We use this pub quite regular on a Wednesday night after a tabbing session at Croxby I have found the staff to be pleasant enough and the food is good. We always have a crack with the staff and I cannot fault it.

Every time I go to the Clickem I try so hard to really like it but there is no getting around the miserable presence that is the landlord. The staff are nice and polite, the beers are well kept and the place has a nice feel but he just drags you down from the moment you get in (the car park in this incidence). There was a big pushbike night on and he was running around the carpark telling people where they could and couldn't park and that the spaces closest to the pub are for proper customers (we had three rounds of drinks and food afterwards after our ride but this didn't allow us the holy grail of empty closer parking spaces). When you get inside (we have has this a couple of times) he will tell you off for lingering at the bar for too long, sitting in a seat that is usually a regulars who isn't even in etc etc. I wouldn't let this put you going to what is a decent pub but to not get wound up you have to imagine him very much as a basil fawlty type.

Have visited The Clickham Inn for both food and drinks recently. It is a very friendly pub, both staff and locals. There is a very good selection of real ales and ciders. The food is very good, particularly the home made steak pie! The Clickham is an old-fashioned style pub although it does cater for pool players and TV sport watchers.

I went to the Click'em this evening with my parents and was very pleasantly surprised. Very welcoming old pub, which is obviously popular with locals. A table had been reserved for us in the small room which was lit with an open fire making the atmosphere feel warm and cosy. The main menu had the usual variety of choices but the specials board had several things to tempt the palette from pheasant to sea bass, the latter was what my Dad choose. Personally the beef in pepper and stilton tickled my fancy...yum yum. The beef was tender, served with new potatoes, perfectly cooked carrots, broccoli and peas but the sauce...Wow! not to peppery and you could really taste the stilton, it was scrumptious, as I said in the title I almost licked the plate clean. Portion size was just right - well it was for me but I'm greedy If you want wholesome good food served in a warm and friendly environment then this is the place for you, and all at a very reasonable price; I would defo recommend.

Sunday 12th December went the the pub at dinner time along with my father, son and daughter in law.The food was excellent,it was well presented, hot, plentiful and very tasty. My father and son had the steak pie along with potatoes and veg, both struggled to eat it all due to the very generous amount served. My daughter in law had a cheeseburger and chips which actually had proper grated cheese and NOT the usual cheese slice.I had the roast beef dinner which again was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be going again and highly recommend you visit the pub.

I drive past the pub daily to work and been meaning to go for a meal for sometime, but time never allows. Today was an exception as we tried it and by goodness what an amazing place! The food was wholesome, nutritious and very tasty! Food was well presented with amble portion sizes (couldn't fit a pudding in even if I tried) and served on warm plates. The service was good, pub was clean and tidy and so were the toilets! So would we go again? Most certainly and sorry we haven't been sooner! The food isn't expensive and won't dint your wallet and what we would call, traditional pub food. Fantastic from start to finish and well worth a visit!

How long can pubs like this survive without offering something different. Lincolnshire pubs always seem to cater for the lowest common denominator and appear to do well. My view is that they will need to offer something more than the chips with everything approach for long term sustainability. Having said that - it was good chips with everything, the beer was pleasant enough and the atmosphere convivial.

Went for Sunday lunch on recommendation. Told to have the steak and ale pie which we did. It was fantastic! The best we've ever had and each meal was enough to feed two people. Well worth a visit for the food even if the pub itself is nothing special.

I am not a regular at the Click'em inn but visit occasionally. Each and every time I go, I am made to feel most welcome, not only by the bar staff, but also the regulars, so much so that when I do go my favourite tipple (Warsteiner on draught) is waiting for me on the bar as soon as I walk in. They have an excellent selection of traditional ales, that are 'kept' well. The pub is a half hour drive away from where I live, but it is worth the drive if only for the atmosphere. The few times I've eaten there - the food was excellent. I can see why this establishment has won 'Country pub of the year' many times.
