Well, the cafe has had the makeover the last review thought necessary, now one way, kitchen isolated, waitress service and delivery to table by trolley, but still the JJ's cooking we're all used to enjoying-now with the option of Lincolnshire sausages with the breakfasts. Well prepared food, well priced, friendly faces, thank you, JJ's!

I have been a few times for breakfast and is cooked to order so you know it has not been sat in a bain marie. The food is tasty and of good quality. The cafe could do with a little makeover but nothing to complain about, and i would definitely recommend.

You get a good size portion of fish and chips which are very tasty well cooked. You can also sit down and eat in the cafe.

The menu mainly consists of various breakfast items - you can opt for a full English or just have something on toast. Theres also several 'extras' you can add for an extra cost. All the prices are very reasonable and the food is always well cooked and hot, however the sausages aren't great and the coffee could be better. The menu could do with being a bit more extensive, even though they do burgers, they don't do other café basics such as jacket potatoes or quiches. However, if you're looking for a cheap café then this is the place to try, just don't go with too high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

I went today, definitely going back, lovely chicken burger chips and scrambled egg...yum! also I wouldn't recommend coming with a wheelchair as they don't have a ramp.

Lovely, clean, cafe, very 60's,you've got to go,just to say you've been! Menu as you'd expect, though John will create anything you'd like, his good old fashioned "milky coffee" (he was making this years before latté was invented) and omelettes served with a Rasher of bacon will get you going. Clean, prompt service, good value, what's not to like? Go and enjoy!

When I walked in all I could smell was dirty oil fryers, the breakfast was mediocre with sausages that were about 2% meat 98% wheat and cardboard.

Tried this café for the first time today and will be going back. It's a basic down-to earth café but clean and welcoming. The food was well cooked and tasty - and a bargain!

Me and my husband really enjoyed the breakfasts. Could do with a bit of a makeover, but I have been in worse.

No sé donde TripAdvisor nos dieron la foto. escribo para informar a todo el mundo que el pub ya han desaparecido, unfornately Dennis el encargado, ha tirado la toalla. una pena que sus domingos almuerzos eran deliciosos.

Great place to dine. Plenty of free parking but make sure you register your car details at the bar.

Essentially a disappointment. We have come periodically over a number of years and have had some lovely meals over that time with food that that was at a level in terms of sourcing with the produce sold in the farm shop, which was of good quality. Fast forward to today. Monosyllabic replies from staff who gave the impression they would rather be anywhere else than actually serving customers. A child’s portion of Chicken Goujons and chips which were tasteless and clearly a rapid heat up from frozen job and a Ham and Cheese Panini which was sadly pretty much sans cheese as it had either almost entirely leaked out or not enough been put in initially, the side salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, a bit of cucumber and a halved cherry tomato with no dressing and the coleslaw was frankly unpleasant, certainly giving the impression of coming from a large tub of lower end produce! For the above and 2 drinks the cost was £28. It’s not necessarily the price it’s just the poor quality of food given fairly high expectations from previous experiences along with the impression no one really cares! Home made coleslaw, a dressed salad with more interesting variations in it and staff who don’t hand out a panini which clearly should have been redone, would be a reasonable starting point. This used to be somewhere where you could guarantee a nice lunch, not the case now, as far as we experienced.
