Sandra is incredible as are the Prego and Vinho Verde. Do not pass the door without going in. A rare gem not to be missed. The closest to Albufeira you will find in the UK

Tim and Paul never disappoint. The menu of Risotto, Beef and chocolate pudding was an understatement. Every course is beautifully cooked and meticulously presented. The risotto was turned into an asparagus risotto which was creamy and full of flavour dressed expertly on the plate, the beef was a fillet of beef with a range of extravagant, delicious accompaniments and a most delicious jus. The chocolate pud was just heaven. Chocolate pastry, chocolate and passionate fruit fulling, homemade white chocolate candy floss and home-made ice cream. What’s not to like? Tim is a superb chef while Paul is equally expert in his front of house role explaining what is on the plate for every course. We have had a number of meals at the Epikurious Arkitekt and keep returning. Try it out and get the bug you will be made very welcome.

First time here. Looked after very well, prompt service, excellent breakfast. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be back next time we visit Grantham

Everything is just deep fried. Sausages straight into the fryer then burnt to a crisp on the grill, black pudding straight out of the freezer into the microwave then deep fryer. Money touched then straight back to food handling. Disgusting waste of £14. Straight in the bin

Recently changed to Fat Tony’s so was a bit apprehensive about trying it but was very pleased with the quality and flavour of the food. Two mini fish, a small chips, small Mushy peas and a can of coke was £14.40 and was plenty for two of us. Will return in the future.

A lovely tradition village pub in the Lincolnshire countryside a short walk from the Travelodge by the A1 at Grantham. A chance to work up an appetite to enjoy the excellent food and local real ale! The pub was busy for a weeknight and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were quickly shown to our table, drinks were delivered with a smile and our food order taken. The menu has traditional pub food with good vegetarian and gluten free options for many of the dishes. We both chose the steak and ale pie, which came with fresh vegetables and chips but new potatoes or mash were available. The pie was a real pie with the filling cooked with the pastry and there was a tasty soggy bottom and lots of gravy with beautifully tender beef. We ordered the traditional spotty dick and custard. All the food was quickly delivered and piping hot! Had a really lovely evening. Thank you Check out their website for menu details and Facebook!
