Best eggs Florentine ever. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked, husbands English breakfast was piping hot with great quality sausage. Nicely done.

Visited before and thought we'd take a friend with us today, 23rd October 2024. Excellent food and drinks and at great prices too. The quality of the breakfasts was excellent and very tasty and hot. My wife had a burger which she said was one of the best she's ever had Finally, the Sundaes are 'to die for' - they're made on site to order and the brownie squares served within the sundaes are 'to die for'! Highly recommend

Often pull off the A1 into Grantham to have Lunch or a Coffee in here. Always great food and a friendly atmosphere. We are sometimes travelling with our 2 dogs and they are made very welcome on the front area which is really handy as we don't like leaving them in the car

Our go to destination to eat lunch in Grantham with lots variety and imagination. I had the homemade curried carrot and parsnip soup and my husband had the Katsu Chicken Poke bowl. Well presented, hot and delicious. Will be back to try Sunday Lunch … tbc

Decent atmosphere and friendly staff. But the food was overpriced and it was presented so quickly it was obvious it was old food warmed up. Some it it was rock hard it must have joined a abs workout training regimen

Had the beef Sunday roast, it was really good.

We’re visiting family in Grantham and were treated to Sunday lunch. What a Sunday lunch it was…. It was amazing. We will definitely return when back in the area.

The food was impeccable I had a full English, wait time was estimated at 30mins, however I only waited 15 even as the café was busy. I was initially concerned with the portion size however the food was fresh and hearty and filled me up more than I expected. The rooms are vibrant and modern and everyone looks happy ☺️ Ps. Didn't get any pictures ate it too fast.

Not a bad place nice clean and friendly but the wait time for the food is really bad came in for brunch by the time I got food was afternoon tea.

Visited for sunday lunch last 2 weeks, tried roast pork sunday lunch today, omg presentation 10/10, food was piping hot, fresh, veg cooked exactly as should be , slightly hard still,full of flavour, home made Yorkshire pudding big n fluffy ,the pork loin melted in your mouth, cooked to perfection & pork crackilg full of flavour and hard & crunchy. Roast potatoes crispy n fluffy inside, Gravy rich,thick made from the juices from the meat to give extra body and flavour as it should be ,cauliflower cheese was delicious plenty of cheese, serving was enough for 3/4 people , myself my 2 daughters had it,still some left over. Served with individual portion of aple sauce . Seriouse Talented chefs within the kitchen ,customer service 5* Highly recomend. They also do a childs portion to. My plate had enough on for my toddler so didnt need to purchase extra childs portion. I left full. My 13yr old daughter to who had roast chicken sunday lunch.

Staff were brilliant and food was amazing.Ham, eggs and chips.

Friendly staff, tasty food & drink. Lovely touch that they check on you to make sure everything is ok, which you don't always get in café type places. Had my baby with me in a pushchair and was plenty of room to manoeuvre & have next to our table. Recommend caramel iced coffee & eggs royale 🤤

2 star as its clean and nice staff, but all I asked for was a latte on my lunch from work. Shouldn't take 20 mins. This is the 3rd time, so can't recommend if you just want a simple coffee served to you in a reasonable timeframe.

Place is spacious, clean, enough lighting,very welcoming. Staffs are very approachable . They kept coming to ask us, how the food is and If we need anything. The food is always 'licking good'. I goto this place, every weekend for brunch . Every food is amazing. I have got this picture only unfortunately. They should think of opening the branches if this food place.

60 minute wait for not overly demanding food for 4 and not a particularly busy footfall at the time of visiting. Required prompts to staff. Wont return. Consumers for the prices asked today should have a pace of service which is pleasurable and embracing.

Was on holiday in Grantham fantastic breakfast fabulous customer service

Went to this coffee place as there is one in Melton that we enjoyed. There is seating outside and we sat outside for a few minutes, but had to go in as it was getting rather hot and there were no parasols at the tables to provide a bit of shade, so that was a bit disappointing. Inside was lovely and clean, we were left to our own devices to find a table which we did, and had to go to the till to order food. Would have preferred someone to come round to take our order, save waiting in the queue at the till. Food was lovely, I had a salmon and cream cheese bagel. Could have done with slightly less rocket as it made it a little too peppery. My husband had a ham and cheese ciabatta with chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. All in all a lovely place, but would have made it 5 stars if they had parasols outside and someone to take our order.

Good quality food, overall ok, but if only places would 'meet and greet' you, rather than leaving you at the door, unsure what to do. Perhaps that's part of being laid back and trendy, but a smile and guidance would help open your wallet more readily.

Such a great venue for a private party we had. Love the interior, very cool and stylish. Henry was super helpful and really accommodating. Really lovely staff. Food was absolutely gorgeous. DJ Darren we would highly recommend as well! Thanks Team K&C!

The food was very good which is a shame, as it was let down by the slow and poor service. We were a table of nine and had to request someone came to take our order which many staff members seemed very reluctant to do. There were about six staff members just standing round chatting. The woman who came to us finally was very nice and friendly and got all our orders correct with additions. We arrived just after 9 and didn't get our meals til 10. Important to note this was a weekday morning with hardly anyone else there.

The atmosphere was good, the decor is really nice.. But we waited an hour for an expensive fried breakfast.. Which although it was nice it was I thought very expensive for what we actually got ..£12.00 for 1 sausage 1 egg, 1 tomato ( vine) a piece of toast, and about 3 table spoons of beans.. Don't get me wrong it was really nice, but I left feeling hungry.

First time we have been here but definitely not the last. We had breakfast and it was really lovely. Loved the decor and the staff were great. Such a friendly, relaxing place.

food was good but rather expensive for what you actually get had the breakfast which was £11.45 but nowhere near what I could get for same price elsewhere staff were friendly enough but just the prices of items letting this place down

Been for the first time today, staff seemed very friendly, no children's menu or we were not offered a children's menu so had to order our son an adults meal which he could not finish, portion sizes are good but sadly I had a very disappointing toasted sandwich, I ordered a tangy cheese which had far to much chilli jam in and not alot of cheese, although I scrapped out most of the chilli jam it still didn't have a very nice taste, not sure I will be returning

We visited Kitchen & Coffee on Saturday 23rd March at lunchtime and it was very busy. We were told wait time was half an hour for food and we told them we had a train to catch! They said they would do their best for us but at 20 mins before our train went we said we had to go! The manager checked on our order and they were just about to plate it up! We said don't worry but he said they would box it up for us to take away, what service. We ran to the station, got our train back to Lincoln and had our lunch at home, it was delicious so a big THANK YOU! We will definitely be back.

My favourite coffee shop in Grantham.

I picked this place on Google maps as it was halfway between me and a friend. Boy, did I luck out. Lovely food and coffee, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere for a catch up. Overall it was worth the 2 hour round trip.

Always guaranteed a great meal and service. Never not had a lovely visit.

Delicious food really tasty. Bacon rashers huge, sausages full of flavour. Absolutely stuffed! Gave us colouring for our son. Toilets let it down rather pongy.

My worst coffee ever. Even had a replacement and it was just as bad. Mucked up on our order. Had to wait 30 mins for a coffee only not to even be drinkable. Waited over an hour for food that was tasteless. This place used to be really good. Shame... ☕⚰️

Our food took 40 minutes to come out. I ordered eggs Benedict. When it come out there was next to no sauce on there I told the worker. He said do I want some more. I thought he should have done that before I got the food as that is what we pay for without having to ask. I said no because I don’t want to wait another near on hour. He said it was ONLY 40 minute wait. I said only? Someone could have let us know the wait time. We got no apology for the wait or the poor service.

We love this venue, lovely comfy sofas available, great food, lovely friendly helpful staff. Toilets are clean and well equipped.

Several vegan options, which is always good. Really friendly place, lots of families enjoying Sunday lunch with their children.

Went for breakfast on my birthday food and service was great. Reccomend the works breakfast. Oddly enough despite the high quality sausages and bacon the tomotoes were amazing and were my favourite part.

Visited here for the first time and was really impressed. Cosy even with an industrial touch . Bustling,lively atmosphere. Great for families. Our party all had roast lunch which was delicious and well presented. The staff were efficient and friendly. Highly recommend

This cafe is a regular haunt between Leeds and London.We celebrated my Mums bday with delicious food.The goats cheese salad is the best.The staff couldn't do enough for us and the cakes were delicious too. Thanks again,we will be back

Chairs very uncomfortable to sit on. Food took an hour to come, however when it did arrive was very good. Good vegetarian selection. Slightly disappointing overall.

After shopping in Grantham decided to call in, my lady ordered cake and latte, I ordered a bowl of soup, after asking 3 times for the whereabouts of the soup, and approx 40 minutes later was told they are busy serving the Sunday dinners, asked for a refund and left, in future best if you advise the customer of the wait as we could of gone somewhere else rating than wasting my time

We enjoyed our chat with cup of coffee and scones. Interior is lovely , and colorful sofas at the front are amazing! Staff is very friendly. Menu very well presented.

Unfortunately usually great but very slow service today and the apparently fish finger sandwiche had next to no fish in and definitely not fish fingers as described!!!

My first time at Kitchen and Cofffee. Busy and quite loud. Although the staff were friendly, the counter services system did not match the quality of the food. Standing in line to order for over 10 minuets, there were two staff behind the counter struggling to get through the line. The person manning the till was also plating any cake orders that were made. As this was often, it slowed down the services massively There were often other staff standing waiting for coffees be be made so they could take out to tables. The person making the coffee was also putting clean coffee cups away, holding them with their fingers inside the cup, which did put me off the coffee some. I will avoid Kitchen and Coffee again unless I see it is not as busy.

We just had coffee here. It was so good though. The food looked delicious as it passed by. Friendly service too. We sat outside in the sunshine which was a bonus.

Updated Review - Sept 2023. It's been a while since we ate here, but I'm pleased to report that food-wise things have improved a lot. The plates come out in a relatively timely manner, and it's clear that someone is putting some effort into how things look on a plate, with well-cooked ingredients and nicely dressed salad. I had the steak and stilton ciabatta with a side of fries and it was everything I expected it to be. Only negatives are that the tables aren't cleaned down quickly enough, the drinks can still take a fair while to come out, and the echoey noise level in the place makes it not great for having a conversation - they could really do with putting on some sound baffle boards. Prices are ok - I wouldn't say it was overly good value but I enjoyed my meal.

Bit disappointing, the Coffee was really cool and had too much syrup in which over powered it and you couldn't taste the coffee. We had a lemon loaf and a peanut chocolate cake which where ok but nothing to rave about. Think I will try somewhere else next time in Grantham

Our 2nd amazing birthday cake in 4 months, this one for my little ones 2nd birthday. Tasted delicious, great value and fed our 20 party guests with lots left over.

We like to try different places in town for breakfast, having been for coffee here a few times we gave it a go. It was really disappointing, we were one of the first people through the door when it opened and we waited nearly 45 minutes for food. The portion size was average for a full English.Especially.for the price paid. However it was not the best. Couldn't eat the bacon at all it was hard and tasted weird as if it was reheated. It was incredibly over priced compared to other cafes in town. Wont be retuning for anything other than coffee and cake.

Visited on a Saturday morning and was very busy which was reflected in the waiting time. Unfortunately by the time the food had arrived, drinks had long been drunk and the queue to order more drinks was too long to bother. Food was lovely, although I did think that the add ons such as the hash browns and the black pudding were a little on the expensive side. Not my first visit and will not be my last. Would definitely recommend.

Great food, just a shame that you have to wait up to an hour to receive it. We received an apology for the wait but it’s not the first time we have waited an unacceptable amount of time. Such a shame. The ambience is awful when the place is full and the background noise coupled with music makes it difficult to hold a conversation.

We've been coming here for years. It is consistently the best cafe in Grantham.

Visited off the back of an 80+ mile bike ride, the staff were closing down but insisted we were ok for a drink. All staff present were very welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have helped more. Thanks all for being awesome at the end of your day and still being happy/polite and willing to have a laugh with us.
