Spent the evening here to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday, had a great night with fantastic service by our server.

Great Steakhouse. Wonderful food, a must for any meat eater. The rib eye steaks are melt in the mouth, lovely side dishes and excellent atmosphere.

Waitress was very friendly and helpful, went out of her way too make it very good experience, the environment was very relax and comfortable

Will never return here again came for a family meal service was rubbish steak was very chewy 3 of us had lobster tail and all three of us was I’ll manger didn’t want to know absolutely disgusting

Had a meal with for my friends wedding celebration with family and friends. Wonderful food and they looked after all of us.

Very disappointed this time. Not the best place for kids. Waiting time - 50 minutes( Monday night, not busy). No coloring books or anything for kids. Dishes from the children's menu disgusting. Overcooked pasta and burnt meatballs. The salad had no dressing, no seasoning. The waitress never asked if we needed sauce or salt or pepper. Spent £140.00 and left hungry.

We were greeted with a smile by Sophie, we were a little early so had to go to the bar to wait, but we wasn’t too long before being taken to our table, to our surprise we had 2 glasses of Prosecco and a lovely greeting that said happy 10th anniversary written in chocolate on a board, it was a lovely surprise that we weren’t expecting. The food was absolutely amazing. The best steak we’ve had!

Unfortunately not the best meal! Tasted awful looked awful too!

If you have been to a proper steak house this is mediocre, but it's decent for a chain. So i think 3 starts is fair it will smash most pub steaks out the water but it's not incredible

The staff and food were excellent. Nicola made us feel very welcome and she was very helpful with my gluten free medical requirements. We left feeling like we had made a friend who would remember us if we visited again. The food was really nicely prepared snd presented. The flavours were amazing.

Excellent. Well appointed. The staff are competent and friendl. Plenty of parking available.

Greeting on arrival was a little slow. It took around 3 minutes for someone to greet. The steaks were all cooked well other than the Cote de Boeuf. The steak was not evenly cut so it meant that the outside was a lot thinner than the core. Consequently, the majority of the CtB was actually medium well done, with probably only 25% of the steak being medium rare as requested. That was the only complaint but at £66 and as one of the pricier steaks, it stung a little that it was not fully right. The overall bill came to circa £160 so the CtB was quite a big proportion of the price which is a shame. I will however return, but probably will not order the Cote de Boeuf again but I must praise the 20oz T Bone that I had for myself. It was evenly cut and perfectly cooked. Lettuce wedge dressing was unfortunately watery, not sure what happened there. Stated on booking that there was a birthday. I know that it is always optional whether an establishment does anything but it would have been nice to have had something on the side to make the occasion a little more special.

Dani at Grantham was great! couldn’t have done enough for us, nothing was too much trouble and food was great as always.

The value for money with the lunch menu is brilliant with a good choice from this. Place looks a little tired and in need of a revamp. Plus struggled to find wine menu with prices. One member of staff was quite brisk and not very warming. Others were very friendly and helpful.

Soph and the staff made a real effort for one of our party's birthday and hid the cake till dessert time. Food was excellent so thanks to the chef. Plus the barman who made a cocktail not on the menu for us. Really good catering and menu choice for anybody gluten free.

Me and my Husband celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at the Miller and carter Grantham. Our server Nicola was lovely and explained the menu to us as it was our first visit. The food was delicious will definitely go back here again and ask to be served by Nicola again

Beautiful service today! Soph was amazing and checked on us to make sure we had all we need. Myself and hubby came for dinner to celebrate our first anniversary. We had our newborn with us, they were able to accommodate us with a big pram in a very comfortable place away from the door. The door was exquisite, the steak was so juicy Olga has done so well! Desert was also yummy.

We regularly visit our local Miller and Carter, we enjoy it so much we even had our wedding reception there. Our regular server Nicola has learnt our orders and "quirks" and always has a smile. She's an asset to the restaurant. The food is delicious, I am a foodie and if I'm honest, a snob, especially when it comes to steak. I can't fault this place. The beef dripping sauce is blooming gorgeous and they always cook my steak exactly the way I like it. The atmosphere is just right, a cozy environment that gives both family friendly but also exclusive and very grown up.

Too small portions & too high on the prices. If kids are saying the portions are small before adults saying anything then the portions are definitely small. £20 plus for most burgers especially with taking away the 2nd side is a joke. Makes eating out less likely for most people now too and people will refuse to pay those kind of prices. You wouldn't mind if it was good value. Slim kids leaving hungry after mains & desert is no joke. Edit: In reply to the response, it is just pure greed for those kind of prices & size meals.

We went to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. Dani served us and was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious! We were planning on having three courses and took some candles to be added to my son’s desert but even he was too full (which very rarely happens) but Dani still bought out a desert slate with ‘Happy Birthday’ scribed in chocolate, some strawberries, raspberries and desert biscuits along with his candles and sang happy birthday. Such a lovely touch. Thank you so much!

In general the food was great. However one steak was not cooked as ordered and had to go back. The dessert of my choice wasn't available and the service was slightly slow. On checking my bill at home I found I had been overcharged! (This has now been resolved by way of a voucher. Other than that it was fine!!

My husband and I, usually coming to visit on our wedding anniversary! It became our little tradition. This time we took our children with us for a Sunday lunch. Food was beautiful and service by Nicola amazing! Thank you for looking after us ☺️

We save up to come out for a family meal, keeping it local and supporting local business, we decided to give yourselves a go, being both self employed and we work hard for our money.. so look forward to treating ourselves… our findings on arrival outside every table had glasses and plates on them made the place look scruffy! Pleasantly shown to our table. Although menus just placed on the table and not actually handed to you, drink order taken, children had a soft drink we had a £36 bottle of wine again just dumped on the table no showing the bottle no offer of trying it!! Ordering food, which we thought was overpriced, waitress that took our order was nice again not very engaging! Myself and husband ordered the sharing ribeye again just dumped on table, if you know when taking the order why would you not clear a space to place said sharing plate!! Paper napkins cheap why not linen napkins! When you charge such a lot for steak! My daughter had the 8oz ribeye it looked like road kill!! Not worth the £30 price tag!! And to top the evening off after nearly spending £180 with one dinner being a plain burger! We get a Google review card shoved in our hand! Demanding we give the waitress 5 star review!!!!!!!! As she only needs 8 more 5 star reviews!! So my Google review is one star food 2 star… over priced, crap napkins, service deffo not worthy of 5 stars! We shall not be back or recommending x
