Had a great New Year’s Eve in Miller Ned Carter. Food was amazing as always and the staff were excellent as always. Wasn’t overly crowded and the time between courses was pretty much spot on! Edit: Josh….. Josh and his amazing cocktails! They are absolutely fantastic and I can’t rate them highly enough. A lovely guy, great mixologist and all round asset to M&C Grantham!

We visit miller & carte regularly and we always request Dani as our server. She is very attentive, friendly and efficient. She makes every visit a personal experience. The food always arrives together, even with an allergy order and the food is always hot. We would highly recommend a visit to miller and carter Grantham and request Dani :)

My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious! Lottie went above and beyond to make our night special. Even going as far as to bring us a little dessert anniversary board out. It made our night.

My boyfriend took me here for our date night as this was my first time here everything was so good the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were great we are looking forward to come again and might be back for Valentine’s Day. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Thanks to Dani our friendly, welcoming and professional hostess today for making my husband’s birthday very special, nothing was too much trouble and her advice with the menu was very helpful. Dani really is a huge asset to Miller & Carter and the service she provided was faultless. The Chef, Ashton provided great starters, he cooked the perfect ribeye steaks to our liking, the chips were crispy and tasty and the whole meal was very enjoyable. Thank you to you both. Miller & Carter at Grantham is a nice place. Eaten there twice. Last visit (10/2/25) was a birthday meal. Restaurant was pretty busy but we were shown to our table and put in our drinks order. Then we asked to be moved to another table, because the frankly awful music was unbearable sitting, as we were, right underneath the speaker. Mostly though, it was that curse of the 21st century - on the table next to us, parents with a young child. They can't be bothered to actually parent their child, so instead - in the middle of the large, round table! - plonk an iPad in front of the child with cartoons playing so all around are treated to silly voices and sillier sounds played through the tiny, tinny tablet speakers. It's inconsiderate of the parents and inconsiderate of the restaurant to allow it to happen. Most of all, it's inconsiderate of the child's needs - no wonder every kid in the country is being diagnosed with ADHD and other personality disorders. So, on to better stuff. Once relocated by obliging staff to a quieter part, we were back to yes, it's a nice place. Food was very good - beautifully cooked Black Angus steak, fries could have been hotter, as could the beef dripping gravy. The lettuce wedge was lovely. I swapped a piece of steak for my a piece of my partner's chicken chorizo, and that was very nice as well. C'mon, Miller & Carter - you make a big thing about dress code on your website and booking confirmation - get a code in place on watching videos, too!

Amazing Dinner - Celebrating a friend. Our server Soph was brilliant and compliments to the Chef, Olga! The steak was to die for, the best I've had in a while and cooked to perfection. Beef Dripping Sauce is a must and the Onion Loaf is so moreish.

There was a group of 8 of us. Our meal was absolutely amazing as always. I had bbq ribs with fries, they were lovely. Some of our group had never been before and were pleasantly surprised how lovely the meal was and we will all definitely be returning again

First visit following a recommendation - wasn't disappointed. Service, food and prices all good. Scallops were delicious. Burgers were very good and the sea bass was excellent.

The steak was really lovely and cooked to perfection. So were the rack of ribs. They lost a star as the scallops were tasteless and rubbery

Mushrooms were a bit bog standard, wouldn’t call them sautéed but overall a lovely meal, in really nice surroundings, the person serving was very helpful, just a bit busy serving so waited a while for our drinks and weren’t offered condiments, salt, etc. still an excellent experience. 5*

went to Miller & Carter in Grantham on New Years evening and was looked after by Nicola throughout the evening, we had an interesting night people watching as we were slightly unsure of one couple, they didn’t look married as they look as if they were having an affair, although the pregnancy bump was a give away, or the possibility of a gay couple of blokes trying ever so hard not too touch hands, didn’t know to be awkward for them. All in all a lovely evening with my beautiful partner and soon to be wife. Thanks Nicola for looking after us.

Had a lovely New Year’s Eve meal with friends. Sophie our server was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food was delish as per usual! Jake the chef really smashed it out of the park. Lovely way to end 2024:).

Beautiful food again and again. Myself and my partner visited for a date night and every time we come it gets better and better. Lovely staff, stunning restaurant, beautiful food, gorgeous cocktails and overall a pleasant experience.

This was my 1st experience at a Miller & Carter and I cannot express how amazing it was. It was absolutely perfect, I’ve never had steak so good. The service was second to non. I will definitely be returning soon.

Third visit here. Each time everything has been excellent. The staff have the knack of being attentive without being overbearing and are very friendly. This time we were looked after by Dani who was brilliant. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The set menus are particularly good value. Will definitely be back soon.

My first time in a Miller & Carter and must say I was very impressed. We visited the Grantham one. Food was fab, very tastefull decor, lovely xmas decorations, and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress Lauren was extremely attentive to us and our needs. She was lovely, very happy and always a big smile on her face when she came to ask if everything was ok. Thank you Lauren and the chef for our well cooked and presented meal. Will visit again and definitely recommend. Happy Xmas to all at Miller & Carter.
