Not sure why this isn’t so highly rated. It’s dramatic and amazing. We wandered in on a Sunday after a rugby game and they seated us no issues. Food was superb and really enjoyed every dish and option. Decor is so eye catching…photos don’t do it a justice!

Amazing kabab wrap, and the chocolate cake was perfect. I also highly recommend the pizza's🤌

Went back to Pizza King having not used for many years must say very disapointed the pizzas were not as flavourable as I remember and the Garlic Mushrooms were poor and very little Garlic Butter overall not worth the money

Pizza came cold, greasy and burnt, the box was damaged and greasy. Used to be the best in town but has gone downhill recently

My friend and I had Sunday lunch it was absolutely amazing! The Lamb and Beef melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. My friend follows a dairy free diet, the chef made df yorkshire puddings for her which she said were beautiful. A lovely experience and a very very pleasant lunch in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very attentive and went that extra mile nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Order from here all the time. Last week ordered delivery after work chicken and mushroom pizza got a bone in my pizza. (It did put me off when I took a bite got a gob full with Bone BUT then I took in considerations( as a chef my self ) its a fresh chicken cook and shredded in store which is amazing as most places Are frozen chicken!) So fair play. Ordered tonight two ham and mushroom which I was abit late for but still banging food! Fair play pizza king. Thankyou for good meals always comeback. Amazing kebabs best in town too.. chicken sish all the way! 🙏

Being new to the Grantham area, I was keen to find a traditional Sunday roast without having to leave town. Having no expectations and having never even seen a photo, our party of 4 was pleasantly surprised to stumble into the beautiful surroundings of the aptly named king's room where we had booked a table. We came to discover that the food at the Angel & Royal is delicious! I particulary enjoyed my starter of parsnip and honey soup. The attentive staff are the perfect amount of friendly and efficient.

Food is good but sadly delivery times are upto and beyond 1hr ...don't ring up they get really annoyed with you for simply asking where your food is . A simple message to pizza king don't take more orders than you can deliver.

Excellent pizza every time. Beautiful soft base doest smell of yeast like the big brands, Loads of topping can't fault it. Arrived hot and early. Brilliant place.

We really love these pizza and I have the fussiest family when it comes to eating. Meal deal 3 x 12 inch pizzas are the best and they deliver to Eaton too biggest bonus. Thanks team.

These guys are absolutely diamonds! 2 of the guys assisted us when we broke down. This was in the middle of service on valentines night I may add and did so much for us to make sure our car started again and got us back to the hotel. I would be very happy knowing guys with such big hearts are preparing my food. Thank you so much gentlemen! We will always appreciate what you did for us ❤❤❤

Customer service is disgusting , just had the phone put down on me cuz i rang to see where my order was after waiting 2 hours for it. When it came it was completly wrong so its now in the bin .... learn some manners please

Good food. Needed pizza and a kebab. Managed to get a second pizza free with their bogof offer so now I have breakfast for tomorrow as well. Bonus

Place for the outside looks like you could get a serious case of food poisoning... But the food is actually the best in Grantham for miles around !

Absolutely disgusted at a) the 'customer' service and I say customer very loosely as they really need to learn some and b) their apparent buy one get one free. We have just received two pizzas that aren't what we ordered to be told one of them wasn't on the buy one get one free that's fine... Where is the other pizza from the bogof deal then. They thoroughly enjoy shouting at their customers to then admit they made a mistake and ask what we'd like them to do 🤣 joke of a takeaway.

Been very disappointed abouth the food I received today, I ordered a chicken kebab, previous time and it was a bit under cooked, today ordered again and I actually asked to cook the chicken well, but all I received was worse than last time, not only under cooked but far too salty as well. Never had that bad experience with this place. Sorry guys last time I order from this place.

Was after a local pizza place and was told by a mate that they did Buy One Get One Free with their pizzas and thought "why not". It's been a year and I've still been ordering them as it tastes amazing and they're really friendly people

They were over 45 minutes late, rang and no excuse why they were late, food was really bad, cold by the time it turned up I do not recommend ever using this place.

I have been using these guys for the last three years since moving to Grantham, I sampled other Pizza and Kebab houses but in my opinion these guys are quite simply the best, they offer good portions at a reasonable price, they deliver on time, they offer a friendly service (drivers included) and are polite at all times, nothing is ever to much for them. A good experience from start to finish.

40 mins late delivery and missing drinks. Rang to complain and their answer was next time I’ll order from them they’ll send a free drink. Do they really think I’ll order again after I’ve been waiting almost 2 hours? No!!

The pizza we had from Pizza King was the best pizza we have had in 6 weeks since leaving Canada. Lots of toppings, lots of cheese, flavor gallor, yummy crust.... Very much like a pizza you get in Canada. Thank you Pizza King

The best pizzas in Grantham with very tasty dough and a great range of fillings and toppings. Lovely service as well. We collected this time but the delivery service is also very efficient. Why pay the vast price of the big chains?

Service was great, food wasn’t. I think there were issues in the kitchen. Ordered fresh breads with balsamic and olive oil just to nibble at. Bread was plain white and stale and there was so much oil in the ramekin, you couldn’t get to the balsamic. I had to ask to have it poured off. My fish was tough and over cooked but husband’s lamb shank was ok. His blueberry cheesecake was “ok” but my sticky toffee pudding was extremely sickly and drowned in caramel sauce. We gave up after that. The young man was fabulous and reduced everybody’s food bill as we’d all had to wait an age for our food....as I said....issues in the kitchen. Ours was reduced further because of my fish. The King’s Room is fabulous, pity the food doesn’t match up. Not recommended

I was staying at the hotel and the meal was part of the deal. I was pleasantly surprised by the three course included in the deal which were very good. The menu for the evening didn't have a huge range but what we ordered was very good

Have always had great service & good food from Pizza King....... That was until tonight!!! We ordered 2 pizzas and a wrap at 6.30 p.m. Told it would be 45 mins! After numerous phone calls our order finally turned up 2 & a half hours later (8.55 p.m!!!) The pizzas were that cold, they had to go in the oven for 20 mins to warm back through!! If we weren't so hungry..... kids included, we would of told them where they could stick their pizzas. Will never order from them again..... disgusted!!!!!!

Staying in the hotel I decided to choice the Bistro for evening meal. Being the only person in the Bistro was a bit concerned. The food chosen was good and pleasant for the price. All was freshly cooked the breakfast the next morning was similarly fresh. Walking about the area very few people in the restaurants and bars etc.

This place is back on the way up. They need to draw new customers out of town though and that is easier said than done. Menus are good and prices are reasonable but not the cheapest. Attempts to get more customers in are being experimented with and I wish them every success.

Acknowledging that the hotel is in the process of being refurbished we thought that we'd try the lunch menu out. The food was slightly small in quantity especially the desserts but the quality of the food was excellent and arrived hot. The service was quite slow, although the staff were very friendly and professional. If we were under time pressure it would have been a concern. The cost was expensive for a lunch but would be ok for a special occasion when the refurbishment is complete.

Not quite the Fine Dining that they now advertise themselves as. We were given to understand that they had taken on a new chef so we just had to try this restaurant out. The only waitress was very enthusiastic and nothing was too much trouble for her. The menu was bland with a limited variety of vegetables available, chips came with most dishes even the pasta! We both ordered the melon starter and the rump steak. The melon starter was a designer dish with strips of melon and sorbet which looked and tasted like dairy ice cream ( beware if you can't eat dairy foods)asked for new potatoes with my steak, which obligingly they did but they had been over boiled or reheated. The chips were more like wedges that's ok but again they seemed to have been reheated. The steaks were average, came with some cooked small tomatoes. We were not offered bread rolls of any description but did get a bottle of water. Very limited choice of wine by the glass but what we had was acceptable. Overall we were disappointed after expecting great things we didn't bother with desserts or coffee, total cost with tip £50.

Although a bit pricey to others, it was tasty and nice. It was good for a quick meal whilst shopping in town, and of course you can have non alcoholic beverages, or tea/coffee etc. I enjoyed it anyway and my parent swent every saturday and could not fault it.
