Great service by Kelly, nice food and a great atmosphere especially for sport. Night time is great too. A great all rounder

I really enjoyed popping into the Old Bank for a meal, the food was excellent and the service is always amazing especially this from this woman I believe to be Hannah, she was extremely kind and friendly.

When I’ve visited the Old Bank I have noticed one worker In particularly stand out due to how helpful she is. This has been towards me personally and also other customers and all round throughout the pub. Deanne has always greeted me with a smile on her face which is welcoming and is one of the reasons I’d happily come back

Came in yesterday for some lunch, served by Kelly and Hannah who were both very welcoming and attentive, food was great and amazingly priced and drinks were great too, will definitely be returning!

We went for an high tea all proceeds went to MND The food was excellent and a wide choice of sandwiches ,scones clotted cream , cakes , sausage , rolls pork pie , with pots of tea 2 people £15 Staff were excellent and attentive Kelly was our main server and could not fault the service from her I do eat and drink here quite regular 10/10

Beer garden is amazing, football is showing which is great for the Euros, all the staff are friendly but Kelsea & Lauren are the best! Anything you need they are both there to help out, always with a smile on their face and always go above and beyond with service, they love a dog so bring them in to see them. Thanks guys for everything you do each time we come visit!

The staff are amazing, I came with my dog and they was so friendly and polite. My drink came fast and they also attended to my dog giving him water. I would definitely come back again

Wife had Chicken bacon Salad £11 3 very small pieces of dry chicken had to search for the bacon on rough chopped onion and iceberg lettuce. The rest off the food was look warm at best.. We did complain and the manager said it hits the company standard.. Very poor experience..

Reasonable prices, nice atmosphere. The place is a little tired and in need of a little TLC. However, it is a great option for a quick bite and a drink in town.

Always a let down with football. They advertise the football being on as a big selling point, so obviously people go to watch it. But then it's a completely sterile experience because they never put the sound on. Just music playing over it even though the majority of people are there to watch football. One of the excuses for no sound when asked was "people are still eating". They serve food throughout the day so when is an acceptable time to put the sound of the football on? I assume those eating are immune to hearing the music belting out as well. No wonder it'd never busy anymore. They're lucky that they're the only "big" pub in town at the moment that shows football. When the new Bierkeller opens I expect the custom to dwindle further. Very poor.

Today I came into The Old Bank. I was served by Deanne & it was a pleasure to be in the presence of such a pleasant barmaid with such a big smile on her face, she looked happy to be there. Excellent service & poured the perfect pint.

The pub was clean and quite busy; there was a match on. We tried to order on the app but the free drink offer was only available if you ordered at the bar. Service was slow. The food was served hot, but was disappointing. I had the fish sub. A quarter of the fish was just empty batter. The fish itself was overcooked, hard to cut through and chewy. My husband ordered a ‘club’ sandwich but this was also served in a sub which was confusing. We left quite a lot of the food and wouldn’t return.

Great pub. Popped in for a few beers and the drinks were good, the staff friendly and helpful. They have a good selection in draught including moretti and peroni. Pub itself is a big venue, can imagine it gets very busy at weekends

Last place in Grantham for afternoon weekend

Been going in this pub for years on Xmas eve to meet friends for a catch up, this will be the last year despite not being busy all the tables were filthy and needed a good clean, and like wise for the floor which was hazardous to put it politely! To add insult to injury we were then issued plastic glasses after 15.00PM whether they thought six people of 50+ were not to be trusted with glass after this time is beyond me. we Left shortly after and explained to the bar man exactly why we were leaving, if this is the best Grantham has to offer my advice is don't bother.

It was OK. It was a locals pub. The food was pub food.

First visit really enjoyed it. Team members were great. Lively atmosphere.

Food and drinks ordered, very quiet gif a Friday night, first course arrived, food ok. Watched in amazement when head waitress began paining behind the bar so many people waiting, took a request to clear our table and had to ask twice for dessert, finally got it to take away. Staff gave the impression they really didn’t care, won’t be back.

Food was good. music aas a little loud for 3 in the afternoon, could only just hold a conversation across the table. the ser ice was shockingly slow. using the app to order the drinks took over 25 minutes and the bar wasn't overly busy. food came out after 30 min and one of the meals was incorrect. unlikely to go back for a meal as there are other places in Grantham that serve good food with far better service.

Came to watch the football with my brother, they accommodated us by putting the screens on outside. Good service from the staff and decent prices, no complaints.

A regular haunt which has now grown in popularity due to the forces discount we all get as ex squaddies. Always a great feed and good range of beer.

This place has gone completely downhill over the past year. The food is inedible now. Chicken tastes like the sole of a flip flop. Dirty toilets. Overpriced drinks. The staff are friendly enough but there is no atmosphere any more

Overall a brilliant place to be! During the day time it's warm and cozy with an excellent range of food on the menu. At night is a party club environment! I went during lunch time and the food was incredible. Only had a small meal from the menu but I was stuffed and the price was great for what I got. I highly recommend anyone from or around Grantham to come here for food. Or if you and friends want to have a good dance/party this is the place to be. 👍

2 occasions I’ve had a bad experience in the last week. Firstly the other night it was 8pm , I came to the old bank just to EAT , in which I was turned away at the door for not having any ID even tho I stated I only wanted food and the 2 other people with me were way way over 18 and both provided ids. The place was also empty which I wasn’t surprised when they are literally turning people away. 2nd time was today, old bank don’t do very nice coffee, so I purchased a coffee from Costa and went in to the the old bank for food. Again not one person in sight. Got to the bar to order food and was told I had to leave because I had a product that wasn’t theirs being my coffee. I said to the lady are u being serious, I’m purchasing food and she said no sorry you have to leave so again I was kicked out and again they had not one customer. Why on earth would you turn a customer away all for the sakes because I had a coffee in my hand , it’s disgusting, I’m seriously not surprised that they were completely empty. That is the last time I will be going into the old bank. I have been a customer with you for years but enough is enough I will not give my money to a company that is utterly disrespectful!
