Sunnings Fish And Chips in South Kesteven

Recently changed to Fat Tony’s so was a bit apprehensive about trying it but was very pleased with the quality and flavour of the food. Two mini fish, a small chips, small Mushy peas and a can of coke was £14.40 and was plenty for two of us. Will return in the future.

Well what can I say really, I was given a time frame for our pizzas to be ready when I walked into the premises I noticed a pizza box in the hot counter. I ordered a 9" pepperoni and a 12" meat feast I went back in within the time given to be told that our food would be a few more minutes 10 minutes later i was still waiting, I asked how much longer it would be and if it wasn't ready to deliver it to my address as my pregnant partner needed the toilet, I was informed it was ready, the 12" came out of the kitchen and a 9" was taken out of the hot counter. We returned home to find the 9" had onion on which we did not order and the 12" was under cooked, I called them to explain and was told that the onions on the 9" must have been a mistake when clearly it was being resold, I was offered a replacement for the 12" which I accepted still not happy I had been resold the 9" when the 12" arrived yes it was still a little undercooked but adequate but did not have any pepperoni or ham on it as it should have. I did enquire if there was any gesture of good will offered for their errors only to be met with no sorry mate. Would not recommend ordering from here again.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips from here. Very nice. As nice as other good chip shops in town. Not greasy, batter was nice and crispy and the fish was lovely and fresh and hot. Also very reasonably priced. Only thing that let it down was the mushy peas were a bit too hard for my liking. Very likely to use again as it’s very close to where I live.

We used this takeaway a number of times and the food is fantastic. A good choice, but not too big a menu. The quality and value is outstanding. The staff are brilliant, so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend this place
