This was our 3rd visit with good friends. Tim and Paul are great hosts, introducing each course and enthusiastically answering all our questions. All the dishes are carefully sourced, presented beautifully and taste exquisite. The menu changes each time and suggestions were made for reasonably priced pairing wines. We’ll be back!

A first visit but not the last. Delicious food, superb service. The asparagus and pea risotto was delightful, creamy rice with depths of flavour; then the wonderful halibut - cooked to perfection with different textures of celeriac puree and cavalo nero with pine nuts. And then, the pudding! Perfect rhubarb panna cotta, a lovely slightly sharp dessert that is making my mouth water just thinking about it. Thanks Tim & Paul for inviting us into your home for a perfect evening

Another great night out, with great company and stunning food, we Started off with a welcome glass of fizz, well the others did, I, as usual was on my water... boo hiss.. LOL.. and then the food, the major highlight of the night (as well as spending quality time with friends, I better put that in case they read this and get into trouble) The Venison Amuse Bouche was just beautiful, I am not a great Venison fan, but this was done to perfection, a short break in proceedings and then the starters, Hot smoked salmon, truffle mayonnaise and buttermilk blini, caviar (mmm yes please) and Yuzu pearls, placed under a glass dome with "fog" that lifted into the air as the dome was pulled upwards, OOooo, that sounds posh, and it was, stunning started, I could have had three of those, but I am not greedy. The main course was Lamb, now, as most will say, I hate lamb, I have not eaten lamb in over over 40 years, but that last night was just it was tender, pink, cut with easy, the Gelston Lamb was beautiful, with garlic and rosemary sweet potato puree, hen-of-the woods mushrooms, Romanesco cauliflower and Hasselback potatoes, I was not 100% sure, but that first mouthful, was stunning, I trust the guys to serve up a brilliant meal, and I am not likely to have Lamb again, but here I would, no question. And a good plateful as well, all well set out, so it was something to not only savour the tastebuds but the eyes as well. But the stomach enjoyed it more, LOL. Desert was a Passion Fruit lovers heaven, thee Passionfruit Panna Cotta was so light, and with so much flavour, this was served with a Passionfruit macaron, Passionfruit bubbled, stem ginger, Honeycomb crunch, Passionfruit coulis and and a ginger tuile. Coffee and chocolates finished the evening off perfectly, as always the guys invite us to their home, and treat us as friends rather than paid customers, and that makes the difference, the little details, like an individual menu placed on your napkin, a full introduction to each course, so you know what you are eating and what goes into the food. Brilliant.... will be back for visit number four......

This is our 2nd supper club with friends and it was outstanding again. The suppers are held at Tim and Paul's house. The 6 of us were on a table in their garden room. It felt like private dining in the spacious, simple, stylish area. Tim, the chef, produces an amuse bouche, followed by 3 courses which were all impressive. The tastes, textures and looks were fantastic. Michelin star standard in my opinion. Paul, front of house, has a lovely welcoming, relaxed style and describes each course in detail. We and our friends had a brilliant time.

My dining experience was absolutely exceptional. As a former chef of many years and an avid food enthusiast, I cannot praise the evening enough. From the warm welcome and complimentary glass of sparkling wine to the delightful amuse-bouche, every detail was thoughtfully executed. The venison course, in particular, was extraordinary, though every dish was impeccable. The intimate and personalised atmosphere, coupled with the outstanding hospitality from Tim and Paul, made the evening truly memorable. I will undoubtedly return.

Tim and Paul never disappoint. The menu of Risotto, Beef and chocolate pudding was an understatement. Every course is beautifully cooked and meticulously presented. The risotto was turned into an asparagus risotto which was creamy and full of flavour dressed expertly on the plate, the beef was a fillet of beef with a range of extravagant, delicious accompaniments and a most delicious jus. The chocolate pud was just heaven. Chocolate pastry, chocolate and passionate fruit fulling, homemade white chocolate candy floss and home-made ice cream. What’s not to like? Tim is a superb chef while Paul is equally expert in his front of house role explaining what is on the plate for every course. We have had a number of meals at the Epikurious Arkitekt and keep returning. Try it out and get the bug you will be made very welcome.

What an experience! The second time I had been and I was not disappointed. We arrived at the private house and was met by Paul who showed us to the Garden room where our table was. The theme was representing Chinese New Year and the food was delicious. A few days beforehand Tim, the chef, sends an email to suggest wines you could bring to compliment each course. You can go with friends or, like us, can sit with people you get to know through the evening. Each dish is served by Paul who explains exactly what is in them and the flavours were wonderful and complimented each other. No rush, we were enjoying everything for over 3 hours. Certainly will be going back but it is so popular you have to book at least a month in advance. Thank you Tim and Paul.

When we invited out by some friends we were not sure about where we were going, they said it was very select, expensive, set Halloween menu, and some other guests would be with us, so we were quite tentative, but WOW, the food, what can I say, it was totally and utterly STUNNING, some of the best food I have ever had, we have eaten at 5* places, Michelin restaurants, the Savoy and so on, but this was just sublime, the combination of ingredients, the way it was all presented, the fact that you were left to eat in peace, with no "hurry up" from waiters, like in most other venues, made this a place that we will be sure to return to frequently, as long as we can get a table of six, as this is the only drawback, it has to be six. The guys that run the venue are both excellent at their roles, one being a chef and the other front of house, they know how to treat people, and how to produce, serve and present food to their guests, in their home, they are not licenced to serve alcohol, but they give you recommendations on what wines to bring for each course, so everything is complimented, and to be honest, not that expensive, we have paid far more for far less, and that food did not compare to this. BRILLIANT....

This place is an absolute gem! The cooking is top class, worthy of awards, and Paul and Tim are fantastic hosts. If you’re lucky enough to book one of their 2 tables, then you are in for a treat. It’s a set menu for all, constantly changing and put together with your input from a range of options. Wine pairings are suggested for you to bring along. We enjoyed an amuse-bouche, asparagus risotto with Parmesan crisp and crispy bacon with quail’s egg, filet of beer with mushrooms, sweet potato purée and roast potatoes all finished off with a rhubarb cocktail and then a vanilla pannacotta with rhubarb and salted caramel desert. All delicious, presented beautifully and served with a short intro from Paul. Just fantastic - it’s a ‘must go to’ place.

Have visited the EpiKurious ArKiteKt on several occasions, but this was to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The menu takes the form of a tasting menu, although all allergies are catered for. The presentation of the food is a picture, matched by the taste. The in advance wine pairing suggestions are helpful ( guests supply their own wine) The individualised dining is different to going to a restaurant, more intimate and homely. Entertainment without the work. And excellent food and service

This deli shop sells local farm produce and snacks to take away. Got our lunch and meal deal here with the hot item being a cheese and onion pasty. It was delicious and how a pasty should be. The filling is a lovely mix of mashed potato, onions and cheese. Even from the first bite, you can tell quality ingredients when into the pasty. The pastry was crisp and dry, the cheese and onion made their presence felt. The pasty has been properly filled out with mashed potato and doesn’t feel oily like cheaper pasties. A great lunch stop if you’re in Bourne.

Our village's community owned pub has gone from strength to strength in recent months. Tonight was a special event - a wine tasting night, which showcased a great new line-up of wines, perfectly paired with delicious and very well presented small plates of food. It was a perfect evening and everyone who had a hand in putting it together should be roundly congratulated and proud of what they've achieved. For me (a frequent customer) it's the high water mark of a continually improving, hospitable country pub. Sunday lunch is a real cracker too.

We ate at The Castle Inn with my daughter who is coeliac. We always check in advance that places understand that cross contamination is the danger - cooking in a kitchen where there has been gluten on a surface or in a shared container. For coeliacs for example, you cannot cook chips in fat that has had any glutened batter in it. You have to have fresh fat in a cleaned fryer. We have discovered that many high end restaurants like The Ivy don't manage to offer this so it was so heartening that The Castle was meticulous about her needs. When the menu didn't offer an option she could pick, they found something different, making her cheesy mashed potato from scratch. It was delicious and we are so grateful for their kindness. We shall definitely eat here again when we're in the area.
