A lovely local fish and chip shop that does great food great kebabs and I have to say the fish is some of the best I have ever eaten

Came across Cecil Street Fish Shop, it is a little out of the way of the town centre but well worth a visit, really great fish and chips, good portions and well priced would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Grantham.

We have been using this take away for years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent quality and freshly cooked to order. The portion size is great and the service is always friendly and efficient. Keep up the fantastic service.

Once we could visit family in Grantham again, we had lunch from Cecil St Fish Bar, the portions are massive, the taste and quality of Fish & Chips second to none, quality food, excellent service and well worth a repeat visit.

Known now as Cecil Street Fish Bar, which may be why you can’t find it on Tripadvisor! They need to update their entry, they are the best chippie in the UK and deserve to be found. The fish is incredibly fresh, the batter light and crispy, the portions are enormous.

The best fish and chip shop in Grantham. Friendly, chatty, smiley. Succulent cod perfectly cooked with thin crispy batter. And chip-shop chips are delicious. This is my go-to f&c shop of choice.

Great fish and chips, good friendly service

Lovely, friendly staff and most importantly fantastic fish and chips. As we live close by we've been a few times and each time it's been perfect. You can see why they were voted the best chippy in Grantham ! It also has a card machine which is great and much easier 👍

The guys who run this place really care about the food and the customers who visit. I would always tell people that the choice In grantham for chip shops is OK but none are great..... but wait what have we got here. This place is wonderful, service with a smile and they make you feel like you matter. My kids won't eat from any other chippy, even on holiday! Portions are imense and a large chips will feed a family of 4 if you are having fish or bits as well. Price wise it is an absolute steal. £10 for us all to eat and have plenty. And the fish is cooked to perfection every time .

We live across town and have a number of chip shops closer. However we would rather travel further to this one. Always great food and nice friendly service.
