We (2 adults, 2 children and 1 dog) popped in for dinner on our arrival in Anderby Creek for the week. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Very family friendly place with good menu choice - kids portions are very generous. Lasagne and steak were excellent.

A very friendly and welcoming pub. Dog friendly in the games room, great choice of drinks on draft. And the Sunday Carvery was right up there. The beef we had melted in your mouth massive potions and proper gravy!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Visited several times over the last couple of weeks. Very friendly team, and a lovely clean bar/restaurant with views over the various fishing lakes. Very dog friendly outdoors. All meals have been excellent and are homemade. Superb breakfast, and very good sandwiches and a decent choice at dinner. Will be back soon

Honest Review i read a lot of reviews for fish and chip restaurants and try most of them out, i have read a lot about a Plaice On The Park for a while, so today i thought i would give it ago (214 mile round Trip) Believe me it was well worth the time and travel. You walk in the restaurant and notice how spotless clean it is, the the staff give you a very warm welcome and are so polite, i ordered Cod and Chips twice and a carton of gravy, i was even asked if i wanted scarps? which i declined not my cup of tea lol, so now for my honest opinion The Cod beautifully white cook to perfection it was massive the batter was really light and crispy, and no grease The Chips again cooked to perfection and loads of them, now for the gravy one of the best gravy from a chippy i have ever had. price more than fair £21 i have visited loads of fish and chips shops at the coast and this is up there with the best if not the best, All that's left to stay s don't waste your time and money going anywhere else you have probably tried the rest now try the best A Plaice on the Park bet your life i will be back even if it is a 214 mile round trip

We live in Nottinghamshire so can only visit occasionally but Seascape is one of our favourite places and well worth the trip. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on Sunday made with quality ingredients, served by friendly staff in a lovely setting. After a walk along the coastal path we returned to enjoy another coffee and delicious cake before heading back home. We are already checking diaries to see when we can visit next.

Sunday evening, only had half the food on menu. Given burnt pizza was told hope you like it well done. Puppercorn sauce looked like chicken soup which was not eaten.
