Lovely vegan menu and had a lovely choice- all food nice. Dog friendly. Beware though if using car park nearby- privately owned and time of parking starts when you drive in not when you pat for a ticket as found to my annoyance!

After being recommended this place and being told the 40 minute journey from where we are staying would be worth it, it was absolutely amazing! We had a cooked Lincolnshire Breakfast, it was delicious and arrived very quick and cooked perfectly the coffee was very tasty too. Excellent value for money and along with a lovely view to enjoy and with the sun shining we loved it. The staff were super friendly and smiley. There’s nothing not to like.

I WAITED SO LONG FOR MY FOOD AND THERE CARD MACHINE BROKE SO IT WAS CASH ONLY SO I HAD TO WALK TO GET CASH OUT ITS RIDICULOUS. THE FOOD WAS JUST AWFUL BUT NOT WORTH A 30 MINUTE WAIT FOR A SALAD AND JACKET POTATO THAT THEY DIDNT TELL YOU HOW LONG IT BE. AND THE TABLE WASNT CLEAN AND JUST TO SAY THE BEACH WASNT EVEN BUSY. PLUS WHEN I GOT MY FOOD IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER AND THEN I TIRED TO CHANGE IT AND WAS WEIRD ABOUT IT

Whenever we are in the area we go here to eat. The food is great. The staff are lovely. The views are sublime. Therefore on our last visit I was rather surprised that having paid over £25 for food and drinks for 2 people, when I was asked if everything was ok by the staff, when I asked for another pat of butter for my toast I was told it would cost an extra 30p for a wee little pat of butter! If I had just ordered the cheapest thing on the menu and then asked for lots of extra butter, I could understand it. But after paying £25+ for 2 breakfasts and drinks, it was both surprising and somewhat annoying. We would normally go there to eat 4 or 5 times during a stay. This time we only went once! Instead we ate somewhere else where you could have as much butter as you wanted for your toast but not get charged extra.

This restaurant has so much going for it! Beautifully situated overlooking the beach, friendly and efficient service and lovely coffee!! However to go into the ladies toilet and find I was sharing with someone's dog was really not acceptable. I have since spoken to friends who are dog owners and they were appalled at concept of people taking their dogs into the toilet. I will never visit again. I don't share facilities with animals.

I don’t normally do reviews but I feel I wanted to as I think the staff yesterday go above & beyond to help the customers, I watched one of the girls who seemed to go that extra step to help elderly customer who clearly wanted to talk, & she took her time to help when it was extremely busy. The young lad who served my father was helpful & patient as my Dad wanted to order something off the menu which they kindly did. Great place with very good staff, & this is what we need in the world. Keep up the good work

As regular visitors we have become more disappointed at every visit recently. For over a year now we have been going and there has always been an issue. Yesterday's visit was the last straw and unfortunately won't be returning. After 20 minutes waiting for a table (because you cannot book and there aren't enough tables), and no staff member even acknowledging us eventually we were asked if we were just having drinks. It appeared the additional room had been opened for drinks only, however only 3 weeks before we were able to go in there and had food as well. No consistency. I went to order the bar and was asked how to make the drink I had requested despite us having the drink there several times before with no issues. I went to sit down and we were asked yet again about the drink. When it came the drink was not as requested and it was a small amount topped up with foam! The food was good but the experience not good. Staff seem to not be the best with customer service, on previous visits we have been ignored before. On a beach day once last year we wanted takeaway hot drinks and was told it would be cold drinks only because it was so busy! It's such a shame because it's a lovely venue and food but in our opinion has gone down hill. Unfortunately another place we will be giving a miss from now on.

I cannot fault the food here, it’s good quality. My partner and I both had a full English breakfast and ‘200 degrees’ is a fine graded coffee, with well trained baristas. The staff were friendly too but the reason for my 3 star review is because of the management. This place is NOT REALLY dog friendly! I have a 3kg TINY toy poodle (for those of you that don’t know, these breeds, they do NOT shed fur and are hyper-angelic). My dog was sat on my knee (NOT the furniture) and was NOT eating anything from the table. I was asked to put my tiny shed less, noiseless, quiet, well behaved dog on the dirty floor…WHY? What difference did it make to anyone inside the cafe? He was not disturbing anyone. If people do not like to see dogs sat on owners laps then do not visit cafes that allow dogs! A staff member was asked to come and speak to me and ask me to put my dog on the floor. This staff member informed me that it was because someone had complained about seeing a dog on someone’s lap the week prior to our visit. I do not blame the staff member for speaking to me, I blame management who did not have the courage to confront me personally and explain to me why this was such an issue. My dog is very well behaved and did not bark or cry once! Disappointing experience!

Not a great experience on our first visit, it didn’t feel warm and welcoming that their Facebook portray, perhaps the time we went the staff were ready for home!. Cake was delicious but the service and coffee wasn’t right for such a lovely place and location. Got there and ordered food and coffee at 2.15. The coffee turned up and was great. Waited about an hour for the food, getting a bit concerned because we had only put 2 hours on the car park. Finally went in to ask how long it might be before the food was delivered, to be told that they had not put the order through to the kitchen and they would do it 'now'. Waited another 10 minutes expecting the food to arrive, and then we were told that they had cleaned the kitchen down but if we wanted they would put the fryers back on. We cancelled at that point which I think was what they were hoping. This is now out of season and it wasn't really busy. Really disappointing as we live locally and it would be nice to go there during the off season.

After our last visit when we just had coffee, fruit crumble and cake, it was good to have the opportunity to dive into the dedicated vegan/plant based menu. The member of staff we spoke to afterwards, when we enquired about the lentil burger, was so cheerful and friendly.

Me and the hubby and pet pooch visited here a few days ago. Firstly the building is very impressive when you first see it with lovely views over the sea. But it does get very busy in the cafe usually up to 3pm. When we arrived about 1 the cafe was packed with tables full and people queuing. What I found annoying was people sat in the cafe and it was obvious that they'd finished their meal but were still sat there when they could see the people queuing for a table. Service was really slow but that's understandable as it was busy. The staff were very friendly but dressed a bit scruffy to be honest and inside the cafe the floor was dirty and grubby and needed a good clean. Mismatched chairs and tables sticky even after being cleaned. Toilets though were very clean. Would have liked to see more information about sea life as well

The food is of an excellent quality, locally produced and home made. We have sampled most of the breakfast options and they are all really tasty and generous portions. Lunch was also excellent, the paninis were delish and chips were best I have tasted! The staff were welcoming and accommodating to our large family group including kids and dogs, they worked hard to accommodate our needs and were kind and good humoured. This café (it's moreso a café but I'm sure will morph into a restaurant soon) is a potential good mine with loads of potential. It is the largest third of the NSO (North Sea Observatory). Part of the NSO is the coastwatch observatory and the remaining third is an exhibition area that is empty for weeks and then has, typically, an art or craft exhibition for a day or a few days. More detail later in the review. So how did this Tapas evening go I hear you say?Good points: Quality of food and attentive service excellent, so that's most of what one would want. Value for money was good too (£25).Not so good: it was advertised with "live music" and what we got was not quite that. One would love it to have been a Spanish classical guitarist with say flamenco dancers (some hope!). What one expected to get was a band or at least a sole singer/guitarist but what we got was effectively karaoke with a male singer - IE piped backing and a singer who was good but piped music is NOT live music! So that was quite a disappointment.Food: Generally good but attention to detail was not so good and examples were:There was a lot of over-stock on main course items - so they kindly offered extra to many but not us until after our desserts. In fact our table was missed out 2 or 3 times on little complimentary drinks, then main course items and we should have got double cream which turned out to be single cream on a dessert.I'd have liked to have given five stars because all staff worked hard and were attentive but various aspects failed as mentioned above.Last negative but it is very important but I doubt it's ever occured to the owners of Seascape café ...The lighting for a themed evening event was ridiculous! Bright bright bright overhead lighting! Yes I know they'll think it can't be changed ... Yes it can by putting in dimmers as the event would have been 60% better with appropriate lighting.General summary:Good night out - well done.Potential:This is a potential good mine of a place. What is holding it back?A) Get lighting sorted.B) Arrange for slide away bi-fold doors between exhibition area and café to allow café expansion when no exhibition. Yes that means structural work.C) Have more evening dining including posh dining with decent music.D) Open more often for breakfasts from early like the dawn one we went to too.E) Always serve teas and coffees with saucers!F) Get rid of the settees that mean one is laying backwards almost horizontal. Replace with good quality more upright and larger ones all with nests of tables next to them.G) Get rid of the recorded repetitive piped birdsong. It's lovely once or twice but not over and over and over.Just a few ideas ... Remember you guys are sitting on a million! No charge for the consultancy.

We have visited here several times, so when I saw on their Facebook page a post advertising a sunrise breakfast I booked. Although we were disappointed not to see the sunrise due to the inclement weather, we were not disappointed with the warm welcome and the lovely hearty breakfast we received. This place really is a welcome addition to the beautiful Lincolnshire coastline, offering fabulous panoramic views of the coastline. It’s a world away from the tacky cheap eateries on offer in the area, they offer a range of good quality hot beverages of which I recommend the hot chocolate while watching the rolling waves. I love that they link with local artists to display work and promote the work of the wildlife trust.

Visited for coffee with family and our lityle dog. The coffee and cake was very good. The building is lovely and modern. The view was brilliant without being in the wind. We could have sat there for a long time but it was quite busy. The staff serving were friendly and polite. We also called in to the Coast Watch office and spoke to the volunteers there. They were very informative of their work and were happy to show us the equipment they use. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

Visited on a wet week day lunchtime and was surprised at how busy the cafe was. Managed to grab last table. Rolls were tasty and nice coffee. Dogs were also given a treat by the waitress. I was disapointed that the other half of the building was empty. It seemed such a waste of the space. Even some seating would be good to sit and watch the sea, or maybe some educational programs running on conservation or other local issues. Dogs had a lovely run on the beach after lunch as it finally stopped raining!!

I would highly recommend Seascape. They were obviously incredibly busy this weekend (bank holiday), however, each time myself or my husband popped in to ask for boiling water so that we could feed our baby six month old baby they were more than happy to help.

We have been visiting the cafe since it opened but this is the first time we have been for breakfast. What a treat this was to be able to show our daughter why we moved to Lincolnshire. The view from the windows is amazing and the food and service great. We both had the avocado, feta, bacon and egg and my husband had a bacon roll. This may turn into a regular Saturday treat.

How refreshing to eat delicious veggie & vegan food in a modern, welcoming environment. Wonderful huge sea view. The area lacks many modern facilities with veggie options, so I love my visits here. Service is always good, even during peak summer hol times.

Since it opened we have been regular visitors to Seascape and have never been disappointed. It is a fantastic addition to the local coastal area - a great change from the usual “greasy spoon” cafes elsewhere.

I visited here last week with my son. We had noticed there was event on where locals were sea-spotting so we thought we would come along and join in. Such a breath-taking place. I loved sitting on the sofa looking out at the sea and enjoying the tranquility of it all. I bought my 9yr old autistic son with me, who loved the map on the floor detailing all the local places and we made a plan of where else we would go on our adventures. It was lovely to look through all the little things in the shop area. I LOVE that you're giving away used ground coffee for gardeners. (So upset I forgot to grab some on the way home that I might have to visit again ) If you're looking for a place to sit back with a coffee and carrot cake, and loose yourself in, then this is the place for you. i didn't bring my dog (wish I had, excuse for another visit aswell) but I loved how dog friendly you were. I wish I could rate you higher than 5* Can't wait to visit again very soon xxx

This is not a cheap eat but everything is done well. The location is great for beaches and for looking out to sea. The Centre does get busy but the beaches are clean and never crowded even in the summer. Food is not fussy but of a good quality and well presented, we have eaten here several times and will again. The staff are always helpful and keen to please. Very dog friendly. There are lovely walks both to the north and south of here. The venue is also good for fishing off the beach and there is a local guy who sells bait and some fishing tackle (new and secondhand)

Fantastic building and atmosphere good drinks and cakes menu. Only downfall for me personally is they do allow dogs in and I’m not keen on eating around dogs other than that brilliant

Visit to the seaside wanted fish and chips, as I'm gluten free I usually struggle. Not here have gluten free on the menu, also curry sauce. We both had regular fish and chips, mine was wrapped separately from husbands as he had normal.Great portions glad we didn't go for the large.

Had a couple of roasts today which came with free desserts. Meal was lovely, fresh, hot, just what you expect. We was really happy with that.....but....half an hour after leaving we realised we had left a bag behind. Money, cards, car keys, medication, all stuff hard to replace when on holiday. We returned to the Windsor and the lady who was serving, cleaning etc said she saw the bag as soon as we left, so put it safe behind the counter. Panic over. We can't thank you enough xxx

Can't begin to say how bad this pub was, miserable landlady and landlord and the worst food I have ever not eaten. I say not eaten as we didn't get through even a quarter of the plate of awful food we were offered. My husband said the beer was okay but please don't bother with the food it REALLY ISNT WORTH IT.

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Visited here yesterday as we have done many times previously and i was on my VERY SMALL electric scooter (ES). It was quite busy but not full as it is fairly small inside. Myself and my scooter took up the same amount of sitting on the chair as i was situated so i didn't need to use their chair and if on a large bike this would not have been possible. However a young girl asked if i could leave my ES outside and walk in which i could not as not able to do so. I replied we have been in there previously and had never been an issue but she said the couldn't allow it when they were busy. I would not have gone in if i was going to cause an issue or restrict any of the pathways and so i felt i had to leave, which we did. However there was 3 tables occupied by approx 12 men who were blocking pathways and not eating anything and were loudly talking to each other across the tables who were who were quite clearly obstructive but seemingly that was ok !!! I am disgusted in this day and age that such discrimination persists and i will not use them again. Perhaps they need to add a sign to the windows stating people with mobility aids would not be allowed in busy periods. Totally Disgusted. LInda Halls
