Saturday's are fantastic, what a special place to party. It is a friendly atmosphere with good entertainment. Fast bar staff with good nanners. It is warm with comfortable furniture. It's well worth a visit or ten.

Used to be a classic pub..but full of dodgy characters hanging around.. didn't feel comfortable..blokes standing around like there hard men..the staff should move them on..

Lovely pub in Skegness, the staff are very friendly and had a great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced and often has live bands playing. Nice place to stop.

Can’t comment on the food as went with hubby so he could watch the football Fab place, atmosphere and music will definitely be back in the spring

Came for lunch but wasn’t any menus out so we assumed they didn’t do food. Pint my partner had tasted funny but mine was spot on so must’ve just been a one time thing. Venue was clean and tidy and staff were lovely.

Brilliant day sat in sunshine listening to great musicians for 10 hours. Will definitely be back soon

A great place to watch live bands

Was great apart from having a singer on during Sunday afternoon football- but what a voice. Good prices and mad quirky staff

Had a few drinks watching the Football tonight, after the Match finished was told bar will be shut at 10:45pm it was 10:15pm and was told last orders. Finished up and asked same barman wearing glasses if he had a number for a taxi home he said brashly " No I haven't buddy !" IMHO the guy should not be working in "Hospitality end of !" Will NOT be going in again. Now in Spoons across the road glass of wine and relaxing very hospitable. 👍

Very busy inside as they had the sports on all TV's. We sat outside as its in a great sun trap spot even in September! We had a lovely drink here and toilets were very clean even if they are down a flight of steps. Hopefully, will come back to catch some entertainment in the beer garden!

This was my favourite pub..but I've started to notice unsavoury guests..look dodgy..most guests are friendly..my brother was threatened one night & the bar staff just stood there laughing..

Well how great always loved our visits but today at our. Son's gig there what a transformation added balcony etc music stage , under the sea was amazeing outside food bar kids activities garden loos amazeing alot of work has been done and it showed well done to the manager and team also great to meet friends there too.looming forward to being back there with the family .

A good atmosphere, fair pricing on cocktails/shots decent music and offer football on tv. Anna was amazing in there she really went above and beyond for us. however the manager is rude and on a power trip. Told me I was been rude because I told him how to do a shot as the way it was going to be done was the wrong ingredients. I wasn't rude i even said and asked how i was being rude. His reply, make that your last drink. We had spent all day in there until that point. He asked me to leave 🤣 other then that it's great. Thank goodness for the other staff are are nice.

New owners, now a dreadful sports bar. Was a family bar with excellant food and offers..Sunday roasts the best.....ruined....brought my family here today only to be told ...not anymore.!!! Crazy or what!!!!!

Well been going in years but since been done up it's horrible because I had a go at landlady ot barmaid she moved my drinks for no reason then was threatened by some bloke because I said something avoid staff drunk dirty customers and bullies prob fiddling

Absolutely fantastic pub I took my daughter who has learning disabilities There were a beer garden with dance floor and bar even toilets fantastic has my daughter struggles with stairs,the atmosphere was brilliant staff lovely upstairs and downstairs,there was a young man behind the bar in the garden who since I’ve learned is the land ladies son this young man went above and beyond,charging my daughter ms phone every 20 minutes 😂 and making her none alcoholic drinks but looked the real deal for pennies ,this youn man has been brought up extremely well,we will most definitely be back xx

Good staff, cheap Guinness and a lovely beer garden. This should be a go to place for all that visit Skegness. Real ale selection disappointing but that's all.

Smashing place for a good night the entertainment is so good here events on all the time, lively atmosphere, plenty of room inside and out, seems like a locals regular pub spacious beer garden foe family's or couples, friendly staff but very busy. Toilets were clean and tidy. Singer wad really good karaoke nights also which brings in a good crowd. Will always have a couple of beers here before heading home

Stunning building but as with nearly every single pub in Skegness, blighted by the incessant din that is Sky Sports blaring out of nearly every wall right in your face hole.

Only had a couple of drinks but was very good, staff friendly enough. Bet it gets busy in high season. Nice place

What an amazing visit I had. AC DC tribute band was amazing. The place was on fire with fantastic fibes and music. Atmosphere was unreal. I'll be calling in again on my travels back and forth. Not sure if they have events on all year round but I certainly stumbled across an amazing one. Bar staff so friendly and efficient and enough of them to cope with high volumes of people. A massive outside space to sit in nicer weather. Try it you won't be disappointed. Didn't try food sorry maybe next time.

Nipped in here to try to catch the football (Forest v Fulham). We asked the barman if he could put it on to which he replied “possibly”. Seeing as we’d been told by a barmaid earlier in the day that it would be on, we just had to ask and it being 10 minutes to kick off, I found it quite strange that he couldn’t give us a definite answer. We weren’t going to buy drinks and hang about just in case though! A bit of a shame as we quite like the place but we went to Churchill’s down the road who were much more accommodating.

Charge 2 different prices for alcohol. Local prices and tourism prices. Apart from that a nice place to have a pint. DOES NOT DO FOOD

It's arguably the best pub in Skegness at the moment great music venue especially Saturday afternoons, only wish they could sort the sport out on the TVs, they don't seem to have a staff member that understands the importance of the live football on a Saturday /Sunday wouldn't it be wonderful if they had a dedicated member of staff who understood how to work the TVs and please most of us regular customers..

A bit disappointed, in the summer we sat outside and the atmosphere was excellent, last week i actually went in and maybe I was expecting the same sort of atmosphere but mid afternoon there were a lot of people who clearly had been drinking all day, the language was not very good, they don’t serve food which considering the size of the place surprised me. There was nothing wrong with the decor plenty of televisions, pet friendly and children friendly, need to try again, maybe I was expecting to much

Moved to Skegness a few months ago and the Lumley is definitely the best pub in Skegness. A proper pub!

Very poor, Day trip out from West Midlands. Thought I would have a beer in here, got turned away regulars only. What the. Dissatisfied. Thought pubs were looking for custom.

Straight opposite the train station so should be everyone's first port of call , nice staff, big garden and live bands, decent pub .

Since I last commented on the Lumley, it has been taken over and had a referb. The kitchen is being redone and will I hope cater for coeliacs. I recommend a beer if you are in town.

Didn't eat here - but had a few drinks. Music was great and not too loud. Bar maid was really friendly aswell. We will return if in the area.

Visited on a Saturday evening. Our visit was going great until a drunken couple started talking to us He was from Swadlincote, she was from Manchester. In my opinion they were after trouble. So because of this it cut short our decent visit. Drinks were cheap when we went in. Will visit again if the drunks aren't in!!

Decent drink, decent prices, decent atmosphere.

This is a lovely bar very clean environment we went six nights out of seven while staying in skegness we will definitely be visiting this establishment next time we're in skegness and will also try the food once they start serving food the drinks prices were really good well worth a visit .

The larger was horrible and so was the beer

We used to have a few drinks here but never been in after it was taken over, My partner said let's try going in as there was seats outside so we did. Before 6 we got told kids arnt allowed in. I dont think there kid friendly, before they used to let kids in. Many times we would go in have a few drinks and stay and have some food. I dont think we will be going in anymore its a shame we used to like it in there.

Keep away from this pub if you have children went into the beer garden for a drink with family and my 5 year old Grandson. My Grandson was playing like any other child would baring in mind we was the only people in the garden. About hour in to it after my grandson had been sat with us on the bench playing on phone a male worker came over and collected glasses and asked us to not let kids run around incase they hurt themselves? Never heard any thing so pathetic in my life epically in a garden. Obviously don't like children in there. Been coming to Skegness since I was a child and always visited this pub and never had this problem will not be coming here again after this.

A large pub with a giant beer garden. The prices for drinks are cheap. The beer garden is brilliant when the sun is shining and have regular live bands on too.

We came to this pub on the 14th of June 2023 and I must say the beer here is absolutely first class they do real ail which is brilliant. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the pub is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The beer garden is excellent and I love this place Also to get into the beer garden. You go into a metal gate which is on the roadside just opposite Wetherspoons. This is the best place in town do not go to the three monkeys. It’s far far better here. Also just to make you aware I’m not affiliated to either of these places but just a customer who likes to give a fair and honest review.
