Wolfies Wine Bar in East Lindsey

Will never return!!! I take my family here every week to treat them, I've never had a bad meal.. Today I thought I would treat the whole family to dinner.. They think it's acceptable due to it being mother's day to inflate the prices to rip people off... not everybody wants a 2 course meal. We normally purchase the dinners then decide if we are having desert. Yet I'm expected to pay £16 just for the dinner. I think its ludicrous that you can try to charge this much just because it mother's day.. not everyone can afford this... The pice isn't even my problem it's the principle that they will take my money every other week yet it's a set menu thus week.. There is no explanation you can give that justifies this.. you should be ashamed and you have lost a very good customer.. my only hope is that other people follow suit!!! Good luck and I hope you continue To take peoples hard earned money!!! Robbery!!!!!

Myself and 6 others came to wolfies this week as we were in Skegness for work, no reservation needed. We were served by Kiara who was extremely helpful and polite, she catered to all our needs and requests and did so in a timely manner. All food was lovely and arrived quickly. We were so impressed we went back again the next day and were served by Kiara again, once again her customer service was brilliant! Would definitely recommend wolfies.

50 min wait for food. We had the steak deal 2 for 34 the steak was flat with zero flavour and mostly fat! Very tough and the steak knives they gave us wouldn't cut it. Paid £4.50 for a lemonade I was absolutely shocked when she told me the price! Absolutely would not go back! Who do they think they are charging that sort of money. It's Skegvagas not vagas !

Great cocktails and professional staff

Pop in for a drink seen they did a Sunday carvery. £10:95 per person. Great Sunday Carvery, staff so friendly and accommodating. The staff are all smartly dressed. We will definitely call in here again when in Skegness.

After scrolling Tripadvisor we decided this restaurant looked promising and we weren’t let down. The service was excellent, we sat upstairs where the atmosphere and decor was really good. They have plenty of choice on their menu, plus menus for children, gluten free and vegan. Our food was delicious and hot, and it was nice to be asked after our starters if we were ready for our main or if we wanted to wait a while. I’m sure Skegness has much much to offer but of what we saw, this restaurant is head a shoulders above the rest.

For Valentine’s Day thought I would make it special with my husband as he’s on cancer treatment. We used to come here all the time however the shock we endured was awful arrived at 545 as it was quiet had a coffee and ordered food Waited 15 mins and ordered Brie in bread crumbs with sauce omg it was greasy over cooked and cold I didn’t want to make a fuss as it was our first time out . Waited an hour for next course why only a few couples in ? Husband had the lamb I had the hloumous pasta his was fine mine well what could I say about mine pasta chewy watery sauce onions not cooked properly 2 mushroom s in it cheese over cooked I could not eat it . Waited on pudding presented lovey a fruit crumble . How can you get that wrong ? The crumble powdery like eating a bag of flour and where was the fruit and sauce a tea spoon full this was off there special valentines menu . We didn’t leave till &pm all this waiting time for our food Then it started to get busy . We sat next to a young couple who had lamb and the fish and before ours came they were struggling to eat it and the couple next to them I shoulld have cancelled mine as they all left theirs ? Why didn’t the waitress notice and ask if all was ok and as we were leaving people leaving food ? The cost nearly 75.00 and cheek of 10 percent added to our coffees with my husband being ill I didn’t want to complain as it was his nigh and he knows me well as I would have seen a manager . The food was awful not the standard I know it to be with living here . So upset wolfies you ruined our night bad food and hour wait for main course

We can in tonight upstairs in the restaurant there were 10 of us. We were served by charlie who was as happy as can be he clearly enjoys his job. The food was by far the best I’ve had in Skegness. Everything came out super quick and was delicious Thank you charlie we will be back

Needed somewhere to eat and was surprised how many places were open in Skegness in January. Ate here twice and tried to book a 3rd time but the restaurant was closed as their staff were having their Christmas party. Very well deserved I say! Excellent hosting and service and brilliant food. Thank you all x

Food was out of this world. Amazing value for money. The venue is spotlessly clean. Staff are polite and approachable and again, the food was something special. We can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent night out once again, we said we'd only eat here once a month but the delicious food beats the bog standard skeggy norm. Very welcoming and approachable staff Shelby and Leah make our night extra special. Even during busy periods. 10/10 Highly recommend 🥰

I have holidayed in Skegness many times before but never tried eating in here, but this time I thought lets give it a go and I am so glad I did! The upstairs restaurant is a really nice setting - perfect for overlooking everything lit up in the winter evenings if you get a window seat. The food quality was amazing - really generous portion size, excellent value for money and tasted fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with the bbq pulled pork chicken melt, it was very fresh and flavoured well, and the home made chips were delicious! Compliments to the chef Great service, staff were friendly and attentive. They have an extensive menu with lots of great options to choose from, menus vary slightly between lunch time and the evening, but plenty to choose from on both and lots of great dishes that I haven't really seen anywhere else before. I cant wait to try the cheesecake and/or cookie dough next time. This will now be a regular restaurant to visit when I holiday in the area - a fabulous find!

Lovely Carvery , lovely staff, very helpful and help if need anything. Carvery nice , sometimes burn Yorkies but I do like food over cooked. Always have lovely for husband. Very lovely Atmosphere and play good old music x

A nice place to eat and relax. Great atmosphere of the place as it was a Halloween themed day. The food has generous servings and at a reasonable price to. Great food Great atmosphere. Oh and they accept dogs too :)

Met a friend here for lunch, place all decorated for Halloween which looked good. Service was good, not overly too busy. Prices on the steep side for drinks. Toilets up stairs very dark but clean. Order steak baguette, I found mine very bland , not a lot of flavour, side crisps hard, side salad. A nice place to visit without the holiday makers.

Nice, relaxed environment with friendly attentive staff. We started and finished our evenings here, drinks were reasonably priced and had variety. Hot chocolate and the cookie dough were our highlights.

Unfortunately steak came out cold and not how I asked it to be cooked when asked to warm up it was clearly microwaved chips wasn't great and looked nice but unfortunately not a good experience

Lovely carvery had gluten free gravy yorkshire puddings and stuff. Staff very knowledgeable about intolerance. Ample serving of meat we were able to choose two.

Excellent bar very dog friendly even provided a proper dog bowl for our mutt to drink from. Brilliant staff excellent service great food ,and plenty of it. Can't fault them. Will definitely return for more.

This used to be such a nice place but the last 2 times we have been the service was shocking. We just went Saturday night, ordered food with no mention from the staff of any delays. Our food took 1hr and 15 minutes to arrive and when it did it was luke warm. The option of sending it back was a no go because we would have had to wait ages for it to come back hot! We had already missed out on plans we had for the night because we were in there so long! Will not go back again, such a shame as it used to be so nice.

Been coming here since I was around 18 I'm nearly 52 now 😅 always visit when I stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with family and dogs. The food was delicious and staff very welcoming and friendly.

Food was lovely, all fresh ingredients. We ordered as a party of 6 with 6 mains and 2 starters, and everything came at the same time like we asked, all piping hot and delicious. The nachos starter was impressive in size and taste, the garlic prawns on toast were very tasty too. We were very pleasantly surprised by the salmon and Mediterranean vegs main, all fresh ingredients and very tasty. We didn't try any of the desserts but we had a few cocktails on another occasion and they were all great, we were especially impressed by the Lemon Gin Sour and the Piña Colada. We sat outside as our party of 6 had 3 dogs with us, and we enjoyed the small heater above us, most welcome as the night was coming in. Great place!

AMAZING , eaten here twice and both times been epic. service from the staff is top notch. my self and partner have a 18 month old, the kids menu is ideal and well presented. we requested the kids food came out with our starters and this was no problem. our food was filling , tasty and empty plates at the end. this place is clean and the team make every effort to ensure your meal/drink is rememberable. looking forward to eating here again soon. thanks all

Nice clean specious pub just off the seafront. Plenty of outside seating at the front and back of the pub. Dog friendly and staff friendly. Also has a craft ale on pump being beavertown neck oil. Not eaten here but all the food that did pass looked very appealing and good size portions.

Food is fantastic and large portions

Great inside food is simply fantastic, freshly cooked top quality produce. Scampi is good sized portion crispy and light the chips are simply the best I have ever tasted, crispy, fluffy and not at all greasy.

We have visited Wolfies on numerous occasions (generally for lunch rather than dinner). It is always tidy and comfortable and the food is always of a high standard, warm, tasty and with generous portion sizes. Staff are always very pleasant and friendly. It is one of our "must visit" places whenever we are in Skegness.

Seated quickly in a lovely booth, ordered at the bar and got both drinks and food quickly. Starters cleared quick and then mains arrived a few minutes later leaving enough time for food to settle, yummy food and lovely staff. Will be returning( hint hint get the pie ) 👍

The only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is the 40 minute wait. Got to say I wasn't expecting a great deal from a side street Skegvegas pub but boy was I mistaken. We had the Ploughman's and the Chicken Vesuvio. Got to say the Vesuvio was one of the greatest dishes I've ever eaten. Would definitely recommend a visit to Wolfies.

Tasty food you get plenty for your money you order at the bar and food is bought out to you food was very tasty and well presented, we have eaten here numerous times and not one complaint.

Amazing service and lovely food

I would like to thank a lovely young lady working at the bar on Wednesday 21st August and went over and above to accommodate my allergy to dog fur, which can make me very ill if im sitting to close to 1 for a period of time. My friends and i wanted to have my birthday meal at Wolfies, this young lady found us a booth in the corner away from people with dogs and if anyone else book a table sge would guide them away from us ...customer service was 100%. I will be back and I had a lovely meal...cocktails..and other drinks to finish my day off. All the other staff were lovely too. Thank you 🍀🙏🥃🍹🌟

Food delicious.. we kept going back it was so good

I've only been here twice but those two times were memorable simply because the food is delicious. Yesterday I had the All Day Brunch. Sausages were Lincolnshire which were tasty. The eggs were white on top but still runny which I liked as I can't be doing with the clear slimy runny bits! One of the children had the sausage and mash which he said was really nice with the mash being creamy. The other had the kids pasta bol which she enjoyed but it was a bit too much for her. My partner had a tuna sandwich on white bread which was a nice thick filling with curly fries. They definitely don't skimp on the portions! The place was clean and the staff were friendly.

Had a Wolfie's mixed grill, was wonderful. Steak cooked to perfection. Would recommend

The nicest place for proper food in Skegness, wow! Cooked to absolute perfection! I don’t know who was in charge of the music but they had impeccable taste in songs! Not a bad thing to say about this place. Staff were pleasant and attentive, overall 100%

Wow yesterday I had the best steak n Ale pie I’ve ever tasted in Wolfies wine bar. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were great too. Nice to have a pub that serves Alcohol free lager on pump rather than in expensive bottles. Well done 👍🏻 Wolfies we’ll be back again next year 👏👏👏👍🏻

Food was terrible it was nearly 70 pounds for farmyard slop it was dim and dull the staff were more interested in there phones, my little girl threw it up 10 minutes after leaving the place and I felt queesey for a while after, I do not recommend

Booked here on a whim! I must say the food and service was fantastic and Charlie's service and hospitality was exceptional. Would definitely go back if ever in Skegness again and would highly recommend.

Carvery was great, fitted us in at short notice, service was so good and friendly we came back for supper, pizza is great value for money. Cocktails and shots are good value and made on site not out of a can. Will come back

I'm giving one star because you can't give zero I ordered a burger and got a cold bun with a lettuce leaf and a cutlet of questionable quality for £12

My husband and I had burgers curly fries which were really good. The thing that makes this place really good is the vegan menu our nephew's are both vegan they had a pizza and fries the oldest one said it is the best pizza he had ever had. Coming from him it was amazing as they have eaten all over the world from Dubai to Switzerland. Definitely back tomorrow for the Sunday lunch.

Prices seemed to have gone up a lot since our previous visit but my meat feast pizza was perfectly cooked.

Great looking restaurant especially upstairs. Staff amazing,friendly. Food is generally really good quality. Deserts are really disappointing and overpriced. Specials are brilliant and good value for money see pics Be aware that most of main menu items after 6.00pm are expensive compared to what you can get locally. There is a day time menu that is reasonable.

Where do I start , me and my partner came to Wolfies at Skegness on 2/7/24 , and from the start we was met by a lovely lady called jade order our drink then came along kiara the waitress what lovely polite well mannered ladie she was too , we orded our meal , I had the, new jersey chicken , it was absolutely delicious couldn’t fault it at all the chip were best Iv tasted in a restaurant coleslaw also delicious and the jersey chicken well I’d rate it 50/10 if I amazingly tasty all of it , my partner had the Thai green curry well he was the same ssid it was the best he’d ever tasted in a restaurant 10/10 so well done chef’s Caroline and Emma you are amazing chefs if I was you boss I would give you a massive pay rise as chefs like you are hard to come by well done Wolfies for all your amazing staff serving amazing Quality all round start to finish 🥇🏆

Wofie's Wine Bar is a must-visit! I emailed them to book a table, and Kirsty's response was professional and friendly. We were going there to celebrate my wife's birthday and also had our little dog with us. I dropped off table decorations earlier in the day, and the staff was so welcoming. When we arrived, the table was beautifully set. The attention to detail was evident as we watched a young man prepare a coffee, which gave us a hint of the amazing food we were about to enjoy, and it was indeed amazing. I cannot emphasise how amazing the whole experience was. from the fabulous food to the caring attention to detail all the staff showed.

Staff are lovely, very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Very busy when we went, all the staff were helpful & chatty. Food was excellent, we had the carvery. Fully recommend.

Fabulous sticky chicken! I’m craving it right now. Eight of us had dinner and everyone loved their food. I wish we lived nearer! The staff were absolutely lovely too. If only we didn’t live over 100 miles away :(

Recommended by my sister,me and my friends were not disappointed, staff were very pleasent and helpful,we went in the Friday to have food,it was beautiful and well priced,we asked about the Sunday dinners and was told to book a table so we did,went the Sunday again staff were amazing and the carvery was beautiful and again well priced,it will be me and my friends go to place when we visit Skegness again,highly recommended.

Great service and staff and food

We had the Sunday Carvery and a sweet after and it was excellent. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Food was excellent and homemade cheesecake was to die for.

My partner and I have just eaten here, we ordered the mixed grill and fillet steak. We both agreed that the steak was the best cooked steak we have had in years. Both whole meals were cooked to perfection. Followed by cookie dough and ice cream which again was sublime! Well done to the kitchen staff! It's also worth mentioning that it's also a dog friendly restaurant!

Very busy Sunday lunch time, didn’t book, but they found us a table. Carvery quality was excellent (which was a surprise - in a nice way) - massive meal at a very affordable rate, lots of friendly staff. The decor could do with an update, but the important thing is the staff & the food were great! Sad I didn’t get a photo of the actual food, too busy eating!

The second time been here and I am sure that I will be back for a third. The food was great. The Service was fantastic coming to us on our work do checking if we wanted more drinks and also being able to pay either card or cash at the table was great too. It was a nice atmosphere for us upstairs near the window in the corner they had done a good job in preparing for our arrival.

Gammon arrived , cold plate , cold food , burnt gammon , turned over so you didn’t see the burnt side !!! £18 I just paid for this awful food . We live here so won’t be going 20-30 miles back home putting it down to a bad experience!! Food like this is unacceptable

I loved the retro vibe of the decor, the music was just the right volume for lunch time and we were made to feel welcome with our doggie. The food was tasty and service timely too. Everywhere was immaculately clean too, a relaxing and enjoyable stop on our blustery walk.

We had the most amazing night here!!! Shelby and charlie were amazing from start to finish. We had table service as we had booked and charlie was so friendly and kind a real asset to wolfies. Had a carvery here it was really nice then we returned a couple of weeks later and had a couple of meals off the menu they were good too . Staff were friendly I would recommend this restaurant

Right from booking this restaurant the service was superb, a lovely quiet venue offering a good choice of foods. Charlie and Leah both took their time and explained options available

Came for my birthday meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Easily the best meals we’ve had and Leah deserves a very special mention as she was amazing with us. Such a great host and made the evening perfect. Please send on my thanks to her for making mt birthday evening end perfectly. Would highly recommend this venue whether it’s just drinks or food. But if you haven’t eaten here, you really need to. If I didn’t live so far away, I’d definitely go regularly!
