We are OAPs we don't eat big meals we usually have the mini fish chips and mussy peas nice chips lovely fish the best mussy peas ever we struggle to eat it all absolutely stuffed for the price must be the best value in the UK its a 40 mile round trip but we do our shopping as well 4 or 5 hours long may they continue fantastic 12 out of 10 stars ⭐ from us 😋😋😋

Went here for food too expensive plus it was not like my usual chip shop on flipside fish was not greasy

If you like undercooked poor quality food this is the place to go. The young waitress was pleasant although a bit keen for us to order the moment we sat down. Only plus I had was a tasty and hot Pukka pie. Chips and fish were cold plus cheese didn’t even melt on chips. Older woman cooking was not friendly at all and needs to get a better attitude towards paying customers. You have been warned folks.

I have visited Seaviw Fisheries regularly during recent years. There is parking close to the shop. The fish and chips are usually freshly cooked, and there is sufficient food on the plate.

Had a nice day in Skegness with the wife and granddaughter, starting with fish and chips. Nice piece of fish and lots of chips.

Scabby chips, fish really thin and peas sweet and tasteless. Overall 19 quid for something that would have been better coming from Lidl. When in Skeg again we will not use or recommend this place.

Genuinely could not recommend this place more if I tried. Easily the best fish chips and mushy peas I’ve ever had. So good I went back twice in the same weekend.

So glad that we found this place on our recent holiday. Amazing food , good prices , very clean and lovely friendly staff. We visited twice and on the first occasion it was extremely busy but we were served within minutes of finding a table. They have a really good menu and there is lots of choice . Very happy ! Highly recommend !

Fish and curry sauce were nice enough but the chips are quite hard. They are cooked, but I don't know if it's the variety of potato or the oil they are cooked in that makes them tough skinned. There is no air conditioning in the dine in area so you get really warm while eating. It is far enough away from the attractions to get a seat which is why we went there, because all the ones near the clock tower were packed (and noisy).

The last twice I've had delivery the chicken and fish was like leather definitely not fresh the best bit was the curry sauce

Absolutely the best chippy in Skegness! Always fresh & hot, great service too! Don’t bother with the other chippys just go to Seaview!!!

Food was excellent as was the service.

Pros: Reasonably priced & quick service. Cons: Chips barely cooked/white, the lady today almost messed up a simple order & not much being pre cooked on display. Close to terrible miserable atmosphere too with a minimum spend of £5 if paying by card which the indian corner shops started & has been made illegal by the government to do but these are still doing it.

Chips barely cooked, battered sausage full of oil. The woman serving looked like she needed a good sleep. She also looked bored out of her skin. Won't be going back that's for sure.

Delicious fish, chips and mushy peas. Good helpings. Fish cooked perfectly and best mushy peas we've ever had! Staff quietly efficient and the restaurant bright, light, clean and a very pleasant environment.

My husband & i just went to Skegness for the day so we decided to park down near Natureland as we only wanted to go there. After we'd been to Natureland we decided to go Seaview Fisheries to have lunch as we'd seen it on Butlers empire when they were there. It was the best fish & chips that I had eaten in a long time, the chips were lovely, the fish batter was crispy and not all soggy, and the fish was lovely and white. My husband's pie, chips and gravy were also perfect. Thank you so much.

They have got to serve the best cod and chips. We have tried other chip shops but in our opinion these are the best. Lovely thick tasty cod. I won't have a fish at home now because they don't compare to Seaview chippy. They do have a little cafe to eat in and we have done this in the past. You can park on the road outside.. we always ring and place an order to pick up. I then go in the top door, collect my order and pay without having to stand in the queue (I am disabled and struggle standing for any length of time). I think they do deliver but we always collect ours. Although it's busy the staff are always friendly.

Highly recommend this chippy, had cod and chips peas and gravy, best fish I've had in a long time it was done to perfection..The place was busy all the time I was the there for eating in and taking out.Now I used to be waiting on tables myself and I always gave 110% customer service so I know good service when I receive it, and although these 2 young brothers work the tables and plate the food up alone they are very efficient,attentive and polite also the food looks good on the plate, as they do say "you eat with your eyes!"These lads are a credit to the owner of the business .These 2 would run rings round any young female waitresses in my experience..

The food is spot on, quick and friendly service and good value. Will return :)

Omg if your in Skegness you need to go here. I’ve tried nearly every chippie in skeggy and this is by far the best. Their food is second to none and the staff are friendly and always great you with a smile even on The wettest Wednesday in march.

Just been in for jumbo sausage ,chips ,peas and spam fritter and chips.The sausage and spam fritter were ok but the chips were hard and tasteless,not sure if they were old chips or the potatoes are different ,thrown most away ,use this chippy when we come to skeg ,but extremely disappointed today

Always top quality food whenever I've been here

We’ve been coming to this chippy for years now and never been disappointed with their slogan of ‘a proper little chippy’ with good quality fish and chips but today our meal was truly awful. The chips were overdone and tasteless and the haddock was as flat as a pancake, dry and again tasteless. With a cup of tea it was £19.00! To say I was disappointed is an understatement and it’s left me wondering if it is under new ownership? Sadly we won’t be returning.

There are a couple of really good chippies in Skegness and this is one of them. A little walk from the main areas but well worth it. First class fish and chips.

absolutely delicious fish (haddock) chips, battered sausage & sides 😋 it's a takeaway or sit in chippy restaurant, we chose to sit in with table service,it's spotlessly clean,the staff are polite & friendly and the price is amazing.....now to the food we ordered 3 haddock & chips, 3 battered sausage, mushy peas,curry, gravy & a buttered barm with drinks including tea approx £36-£38 the food was fresh,roasting hot & delicious 💯

Brilliant little fish and chip shop. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing. A little walk away from the main attractions of Skegness but parking was easy. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This has got to be the best fish and chips I’ve had in all my years coming to Skegness. Excellent, would definitely recommend this chip shop.Would have liked to try the Yorkshire fish cakes, maybe next time. Will definitely order from here again. SUPERB.

We had food delivered to our caravan site. Did take 1 hour, but it is bank holiday weekend so we were fine with this as they were very busy. The food delivered was hot, delicious and the best chippy in Skegness . Delivery service is fantastic so we will definitely be ordering from here again.

Me and my partner enjoyed haddock and chips, curry sauce peas and gravy was very nice as well. I think salts have competition Staff are very friendly

Best chippy in Skeggy, ignore the negative reviews, I'm a local and have tried most of the chippys in Skeggy but none beat Seaview for constant quality and quantity.

DISGUSTING CHIPS. Need new oil. HADDOCK INSTEAD OF COD. Batter is nice and creamy on the sausage + batter but overpowered on the fish. Nice staff but they deny they are serving haddock instead of cod. It used to be a good place I feel. My family used to go there.

Nipped in for some scampi. Thought it would be a quick in and out but it was very busy with customers ordering huge amounts to take out. Always a good sign! The scampi was freshly fried and delicious 😋.

Well worth a look , Dined in and enjoyed. Certainly a better option than majority of the chippys at the other end of the town.

Seaview Fisheries was recommended by a local lady, Nikki, at reception in the Premirer Inn, Skegness. We asked for the best fish and chips in the area, without hesitation, she recommended Seaview Fisheries, as the chippie where locals go to. We walked all along the coast from Skegness, and had built up an appetite by the time we arrived. We bot hordered a large Fish & Chips, with mushy peas. It was freshly cooked, piping hot, a HUGE portion, which was easily the BEST fish & chips that I've had in many years, maybe ever had. The portion was that big, that I couldn't finish it, and, I am a BIG eater. So, a big thank you to the Seaview team. The next time I'm in Skegness, I will definately return.

We've been using this chippy for years, the best around without any doubt, both café & takeaway, with no problems what-so-ever. However, currently the chips are rock hard instead of the usual 'yorkshire' chip (my wifes description), which means that we'll probably not be visiting anytime soon, which is a bloody shame.

Lovely little place out of the way. Great tasting food served hot and fresh by friendly staff. Only a simple café but it's clean and tidy, very welcoming and all at a very reasonable price. Recommended!

My first time eating in, was incredibly busy, but the service was immediate . The young staff were polite, accurate, and spot on, and I loved everything about it. Food great value and cooked perfectly. Cannot recommend enough!

Great find best in skegness apart from 1 staff member shafone I think they call her 3rd time in 3 weeks she's rude doesn't smile or say thankyou looked at me with attitude because wanted 2 put sauce on my Chips very unpleasant girl won't be back for that reason

Most definitely the best chippy in & around Skegness by far, must be as we found that most locals use it, I've tried several meals here & all are very tasty & moreish, from fish n chips, scampi, Yorkshire fish cake (to die-for), usual sides plus much more that you'd expect a chippy to have on offer. Always cooked to perfection, chips taste georgious like little toast tates as cooked in beef dripping, the Staff are very friendly - fast service with a smile & always helpful, you can sit in & eat in the cafe or take away home. If not tried I highly recommend you to, I'll garentee you'll be returning with friends & family! 😋

The chips, if thats what I would call them was some of the worst chips iv ever come across very greasy and way under cooked,they all went in the bin waste of money!

very good, as always. The fish was delicious. Felt embarrassed when the lady at next table ate most of the fish and then complained. Said her chips were cold, if she hadn't chattered and concentrated on eating they wouldn't. the lengths some people go to for a refund, pathetic. Keep up the good work.

Batter on fish so soggy it may as well have been boiled. Even the dog wouldn’t eat it. Served by surly young girl who almost growled when asked to wrap sausage separately. So many shops in the town no reason to return there.

Loved this chippy - but no more!!! The chips “were” the best…. now just white soggy stuck together mess, peas could not be watered down anymore if they tried & the fish was practically non existent! Such a shame

Proper Chippy Good selection on their menu Staff very helpful , living in Lincolnshire not many chippys do Yorkshire fishcakes but this one does and they're decent sized.
