Cannot fault this pub just been for meal and a drink food excellent prices fair bar staff Cannot fault them atmosphere good warm definitely recommend it give a try.

Absolutely wonderful meal . alacarte meals. Came out quickly &, very hot .there was 6 dining each & everyone had different choices &, they was all absolutely delicious ...the .service was amazing .I highly recommend .the place looks like it needs a lick of paint .but definitely do not let this put you off I thank the white bull for an amazing family meal .

Visited after staying at Bainside coarse fishery. Don't be fooled by the outside decor. Staff were friendly. The food was really good. Plus we got a free pint with the burger meal( meals were Cajun chicken and chicken and bacon burger) The chips were amazing...best chips I've ever had in a pub! Would highly recommend a visit if in the local area.

We popped in for a meal, we hadn't booked and the restaurant side was fully booked, however the staff were really friendly and said if we wanted we could have a meal in the bar area or out in the garden. We sat in the bar area which has a good atmosphere, the food was excellent and at a reasonable price. We will definitely be going back as we were made to feel welcome and there is more on the menu we would like to try.

This place needs a good deal of renovation, broken glass, decayed windows, walls and doors .stopped serving food at 4 on a Sunday. nah avoid this place unless you are looking for a boozer.

The best Hunter's Chicken ever!! After spending all day exploring Horncastle and Woodhall spa we decided to find somewhere to go for a nice pub meal. Well we found exactly that The white Bull in Coningsby. Upon arrival very welcoming and friendly staff, sat down after ordering a drink and looked at the menu and ordered 2 X hunters chips chicken meals and a cheese and garlic ciabata. The atmosphere was lovely and we only waited about 15 minutes for our food to arrive which was great. Thank you so much for a very pleasant meal TOP marks to the chef and to the staff for a welcoming atmosphere. Was perfectly cooked and the chips and salad were great too, the ciabata was very nice. Definitely worth a visit and very reasonable on prices. Great job 👍

Wow we was looking for some where local and traditional and found this gem food was fantastic probably the best rump steak I've ever had service was great nice atmosphere I would highly recommend.

Excellent food at reasonable prices and friendly, efficient staff. Notable that as soon as a table is vacated they clear it and re-set it. Also, the food for the party of 9 nearby was all served at the same time. All too often in the UK these things just don't happen. We will return.

Don’t know if it was a bad day for the pub, but waited an hour for food. Which I normally wouldn’t mind, however when it came out I literally had a piece of chicken with a whole tomato and less than a hand full of bagged salad, my partner got the sausage and mash which the gravy was that watery you couldn’t see it. Very unfortunate to have to wait an hour for food of that standard. The star given was purely for the very friendly bar staff. Also, an update - upon getting back to our holiday resort I was throwing up all night and feeling very ill which completely ruined our last night.

Don't let the outside fool you, this pub is amazing, the staff are lovely and the food is delightful. Highly recommend.

We had a gorgeous meal here for our anniversary. The food took a while, but it was well worth the wait. There were 6 of us that had a range of meals, and they were all perfect. The staff made us feel very welcome and it was the perfect end to our holiday. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Staying at Tattershall Lakes, we decided to drive out to find somewhere for tea, this was only a few minutes down the road. Such a lovely pub, made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It was busy, but within minutes they made up a table. Staff friendly and attentive. Menu was varied and lots for everyone. The food was fantastic, good portion sizes and so tasty, and all home cooked. Garlic mushroom starter amazing and fiery chicken burger tasted so good. Other dishes tried by group Tomapork, which was best pork steak ever. Chinese chicken curry really tasty and lamb ragu, lamb very tender and pasta was good. Also the prawn and chorizo starter was fab, really tasty. Best pub experience we've had for a long time, a hidden gem, will definately be back and recommend others, thank you.

Visited the white bull tonight for the first time while staying at tattershall lakes was worried wouldn't get a table after seeing the good reviews it was busy but they squeezed us in. Food was amazing I had the lamb burger hubby had bull burger was one of best burgers ever had will probably be back again before our trip ends. Highly recommended a visit.

Great pub. Really good food. Just very limited vegetarian/vegan options so not very inclusive for my veggie friend. Could do bean burgers for example?

Stopped off on the way back from the beach and so glad we did. The roast beef baguette and mushroom starter were both delicious. He had the wings and said they were "good" which is about as descriptive as I can get him to be. The presentation was lovely. We sat outside as the dining room was full and the garden area where we were filled up almost as soon as we got there. The staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely stop again if I ever end up back in that part of England.

We spent a couple days in Tattershall Lakes. Both of the evenings we ate in The White Bull, which was recommended to us by a friend. What a recommendation this proved to be !!! Lovely atmosphere and the service & food was just amazing . Compliments to the chef !!! our meals on both evenings was just delicious . Thank you

Had the cajun chicken pasta dish yesterday very very ill. Had to come home today from a weekend trip holiday ruined. Avoid this place unless you want serious bad stomach & vomiting. Discusting dirty place. If I could give a zero score I would. Needs closing down

5 stars all across the board! 24-year anniversary dinner. I had the surf and turf, steak, and shrimp. The steak was perfectly cooked medium well, seasoned just right, good thickness, shrimp were breaded and cooked very well. Husband had the tomapork, seared perfectly and cooked to doneness. Both came with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and chips. We were in agreement that all were cooked deliriously. I also had a side salad, which was very good. We had garlic bread as well, it was okay. Wine with dinner was good as well. Definitely would like to for another meal.

Had lunch here, excellent service, catered for my gluten intolerance very impressively making almost everything on the menu an option for me. Food was delicious, all home made and portions were generous too. Thank you

This pub is a great place to relax and eat great homemade tasty food.inside it’s got a traditional tap room and a more calm room for dining. It’s very clean and the bar staff are friendly and attentive. We had the Cajun chicken pasta( strips of pasta in a creamy sauce ) Big burger( massive homemade burgers with chilli con carne ) Blade of beef (melt in your mouth beef ) Absolutely stunning and enjoyable experience

I've been there a couple of times for a Sunday roast, both times the food was great and loads of it, the Yorkshire puddings in particular are massive, the staff were polite and looked after us really well, I had my wife and two children (3&9) and the menu catered for everyone

The caujan prawn pasta is beautiful we had 3 of them plus cheese garlic bread would recommend every thing we had worth a visit .

Fantastic food, eat here 3 times and each meal was first class, the sunday dinner is to die for, to much food I'm stuffed, San Miguel was lovely too.

Not good. Very tatty looking on the outside but decided to go in. Inside wasn't much better, walked to the bar, where they were not busy, 2 members behind bar....looked at us....and walked off. Waited a good 4 to 5 mins.....and nothing so walked out.

Food is great, although seating is a lottle cramped. Tripping over a high chair was the highlight of my afternoon .. thankfully no child was in the chair at the time

We called here for Sunday lunch. There were 5 of us. The staff and service was brilliant. The Sunday lunch was beautiful, all hot and very fresh. A perfect end to a perfect girlie weekend break. Will definitely be calling again

fairly standard pub. The prices are a little high for Guinness and such beverages; however, that is standard pub price. Friendly staff and a pleasant place to spend time.

Good music, had the mushroom stroganoff which I wasn’t sure they’d pull off, was amazing I’d definitely have that again. Devine!! Had the chocolate orange crème brûlée was again Devine you can tell they put heart and soul into there food the tables are a little close together for my preference but the good music and atmosphere makes it un noticeable.

We had a nice meal here - the food was good, decent portions and reasonably priced. The service was excellent to start with, but kind of tailed off towards the end when we had to go to the bar and ask for the dessert menu, go back to the bar to order, and then wait 20 minutes for ice cream to be scooped into bowls...not ideal when you have impatient children and time is getting on. There was a minor discrepancy with our bill which was resolved once raised. The staff were generally friendly and helpful so hopefully the service issues were just a blip, we would eat here again but perhaps call it a day after the mains!

Possibly the nicest steak I have ever had!!!! Especially for the price!! And the starter, salt and pepper squid, I could eat again and again. The sauce it came with was absolutely amazing!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my full meal and I've been a fussy eater since my chemo. My 4 year old had sausage and mash and it was filled with flavour. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend!!!

A lovely old fashioned pub. Made to feel very welcome by the landlady and the pint of Doombar I had was exceptional quality. The locals were happy to chat. 100% recommend.

Food was well above expectations and the best steak I've ever seen. When we first walked in we could smell a strong smell of urine from the toilets which was off putting and i think the cleanliness of the glasses could be improved.

Lovely little gem, Called in on the off chance of a table for 6, The staff were so helpful and moved the tables around to get us all in. Food was here within 10-15 mins and was just perfect. Good selection on the menu, good size portions and even the children’s food was good quality. Honestly would eat here again.

Booked a table for my wife’s birthday then got there to be told they were behind and we had to wait over an hour for are food . food was a bit bland and didn’t come out same time and they forgot half my daughters food. they did knock off the bill the garlic bread and a side salad as an apology. was really disappointed as it was for her birthday

This seems to be a locals' pub. Nice vibe and very efficient service. Burgers were very good and as it was 'burger night' came with a drink. Good value. Decor was a bit tired. Easy parking.

We came here without a booking and we were accommodated without a fuss. Though the dining room was booked and busy we were more than happy to sit in the bar area. The food was fantastic and generous in portions. Cannot fault the food, atmosphere and hospitality received. I used to live in Coningsby and came back to pay respects to 2 late childhood friends. We will return and we will be eating (booking in advance of course) at this establishment. Compliments to the White Bull

Free pool, cheap drinks, free game of pool, excellent menu. Defo recommend the bull burger (make sure you're hungry), amazing pasta dishes too. A regular place for me.

Vegans in the area should know that this place is heaven for food options. Menu items are well considered and go far beyond any typical, tick-the-box pub offerings. I went twice in the space of three days and chose the double Moving Mountains burger that came with vegan cheese and vegan mayo, and pickles! Pickles 🥒 How often do you see those? The chips were epic and you even get some vegan coleslaw. We returned on the Sunday to try the Sunday roast and were again blown away. Two Quorn breast style pieces, roasties, stuffing, loads of veggies and gravy. I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. On top of all this, the place is dog friendly, allowing dogs in the beer garden and they even had sheds for shelter, which was also great as our dog can be reactive at times so this removed all our stress. Wonderful place and they deserve support. Pay them a visit.

Great food and very generous portions. I had the chicken and pancetta tagliatelle which was so so good. Amongst the group we had the gammon, chicken ceasar salad, hunters chicken, chicken wings and potato skins. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend. Would definitely visit again if I was up this way.

Stayed at Tattershall Lakes but didn't pay for a pass (£194) so looked for somewhere off site to have a meal. Found the White Bull & would highly recommend it. Gorgeous food & lovely owners. Sat outside in one of their pods as we had our small dog with us. Definitely be returning.

What a little gem of a place we found. Food was fantastic, highly recommend the ribs, plus gluten free options too. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommend this place for a meal or even just a pint 👍

Staying at Tattershall Lakes and decided to order 2 takeaway steak dinners the food plentiful and hot, steak cooked to perfection, chips and onion rings lovely it was delicious 😍 and choc fudge cake was lush, staff very friendly and helpful will definately be ordering again on our next visit

I had booked a table for my father who was in a wheelchair and myself for lunch. We were treated with the utmost courtesy and help to accommodate my father as possible many thanks for your help much appreciated. We had lunch my father fish and chips and myself a Caesar salad, both being absolutely excellent. Although the barman seemed to be on his own, there was no problem of service for both drinks and food. I would well recommend the white Bill anytime.
