Great little bar , lovely friendly owners and staff , come here every I visit

I love it here, brilliant drink selection and everyone is always so friendly it feels like a hidden gem. We always try to visit every time we are down and we are never disappointed

The atmosphere is good. The pub on the inside is a great and good old English British pub go before the uk government shut it down

Great little pub, right on the sea front,,Great views, with a couple of real ale pumps. Thursday nite pizza nite, decide what you like and they order it you. Pub hrs from September 2nd are 9am-8pm Mon-Fri 9am-9pm sat-sun. Larger,ciders, mixers, caters for all, extremely dog friendly aswell.

Great place to go for a snack and a great pint of beer. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great view out to the beach and sea. Interesting decor inside ( nautical themed ). Prices very competitive.

One of my favourite places and love half of cider straight from the barrel. Only downside is the amount of dogs, especially when they start barking and growling at each other.

Went to The Admiral Benbow with my family while on Holiday. There was a group of 16 and the bar person was very rude and negative upon our arrival. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed until they started tidying up at 8.30 despite not closing till 9pm.

I used to love this place, I've used this establishment for the last 11 years. iwent in yesterday ordered a pint , paid five pounds which I thought was a little expensive,waited for the pint to settle, I ended up with a third of the glass full of head, they did top it up when asked reluctantly, to have a hostile reception from the guy sitting next to me who was the barmaids partner, Very clicky , I won't be visiting ever again.

I stopped for a lovely black sheep ale with my dog as we had walked along the promenade from the beach where dogs are allowed.

This place is amazing, great atmosphere, food is pub snacks and filled rolls. 2 real ale pumps that are changed to a different beer when sold out

Lovely promenade pub with a nautical feel. Dog friendly which is a real bonus. - quiet when we went and bartender helped me carry coffees outside- stairs are very steep. The coffee was delicious. We didn't try the food, which is why I haven't given it a score. Would definitely go again. A truly pleasant experience

We come here every year when visiting this area, this year was especially good, Billie behind the bar is an absolute diamond, nothing is too much trouble, what a star🌟 sorry to hear today she is leaving, she will be missed. Tom is great too 👍

Superb place for a drink on the beach. Atmospheric, beautiful setting. A real gem, and lovely people too who do all they can to look after you.

Lovely little pub in a great location. Such a shame the owner / server was so abrupt and unnecessarily snappy when we went in with children - SO many rules snapped at us as soon as we walked in! It really did put me off. If you want to relax and just be yourself on holiday, perhaps give it a miss as the woman just makes you feel like you have to be on your best behaviour.

What a little hidden gem, only stumbled in this bar through an overheard conservation. Seemed a very dog friendly place with the treats, doggie menu and ice cream on offer

Lovely place on the seafront,,, very friendly staff and visitors. But I think it's a matter of use it or lose it as there weren't many people...lovely for us though as was nice and peaceful, definitely worth a visit.

Just visit this unique place any time of the year, it's a bit special. I am lucky enough to be able to travel all over the world and visit some special places. But this little place right on the sea front at Chapel St Leonards just has the X factor and long may it keep welcoming visitors in all weathers.

A place I visited regular. First time I've been back since my mum passed away who lived at chapel point. Fantastic place to relax and watch the sea.

Our favourite place to stop for a coffee and/or tipple! Always friendly and they make dogs really welcome. There’s even a dog menu!

A wide range of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, cocktails and hot drinks. Homemade cakes, rolls and sausage rolls on offer. Dogs welcome and well catered for. Fantastic location and the staff are very friendly. Absolutely love it here!

Quirky but very warm and welcoming beach bar

Quaint beachside pub. Cash only - nearest cash point is Co op. Dogs and children allowed inside up to a certain point. Outdoor seating styled like a boat which is very novel and overlooking the sea. No food but bar snack available (crisps etc). Reasonably priced wine. I like coming here when I vist Chapel.

Lovely bar with great views of the beach which Is direct view. Got a lovely boat on beach which is nice to sit in while drinking and eating. Kids can play on beach while parents enjoy a little break time. Food is okay in partnership with a cafe it's okay but also not brilliant. I enjoyed the experience so I would recommend.

Great pub right on the seafront with a large indoor area and lots of outdoor seating. Good beer, nice atmosphere and two very friendly ladies behind the bar. Try it, but take cash. It's cash only.

Little spot of magic on the east coast, drop in for a pint or hot choc if you find yourself in Chapel. Get a doggy ice cream if you are with pooch.

Lovely little place overlooking the beach, made to look like a old boat inside, with outside seating. Served a delicious craft still cider (Pig Squeal) at 7% vol. Didn't notice if craft ale was sold, as once I had the cider, I was hooked! Dangerous stuff 😁
