A very friendly and welcoming pub. Dog friendly in the games room, great choice of drinks on draft. And the Sunday Carvery was right up there. The beef we had melted in your mouth massive potions and proper gravy!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch and the best is that you can take your dog into the blue carpet area. The staff and other customers were very friendly

The pub down the road was fully booked so me and my partner decided to give the creek Taven a try. As soon we stepped through the door we were cleared at by the staff. The bar staff were rude to my partner(after he has explained he was exempted from wearing a face clovering) he tryed to show the bar man his exception on his phone and he was having non of it. Being very rude!! Safe to say we walked straight out.

Drinks were reasonably priced, however the bartender was rude to my partner. He made remarks and was glaring at him for the entirety of our visit. We left after one drink due to the unpleasant atmosphere and went to Popas bar up the road instead.

We recently visited Anderby Creek for nine nights and stopped here for a Sunday Carvery having been recommended by a neighbour next to our caravan. We were so pleased he has told us about it, it is the best carvery around, you get a choice of meats, large portions, all the vegetables are homemade and the roast potatoes are really tasty. The drinks are cheap enough and this is perfect for couples or families, they even allow dogs in the back area. I would definitely visit here again in the future, it is a shame they don't have more reviews on here to attract people!

We stayed in Anderby Creek during September 2018 and the Creek Tavern and staff made our holiday. The staff are extremely friendy and welcoming and the Sunday carvery has to be the best value anywhere. Choice of meat with as much veg, gravy etc as you want. There is a happy hour Thursday, Friday and Saturday which is actually a happy 2 hours......what more do you want. This was our first time in Anderby Creek but it won't be the last.

Jim and his staff are pleasant as always and the lager goes down a treat. This is one of our regular haunts when at our caravan and always have a nice evening. Bingo and card bingo are played on certain nights and they have Happy Hour Thurs, Friday and Saturday 4-5pm and 8-9pm. Love this pub.

Excellent Carvery: food cooked to perfection, large choice of fresh veg, beef extremely tasty and tender, gravy superb and large amounts to boot. Very welcoming pub with small outside play area for children together with plenty of outside seating. If you are looking for one of the best carveries and you are in the area you give The Creek a visit.

We had been staying in Anderby Creek all week and had decided to visit The Creek Tavern on our last night as a treat. Our whole family (4adults and 3 children) went over for our evening meal. We were greeted by a lovely young man who provided excellent service throughout. We ordered our meals (2 courses) and several drinks and a couple of bottles of wine. We went to order again and when they were met with a Scottish note (we’re from Scotland) they refused to take it. They claimed that they saw a lot of forged Scottish notes and they weren’t going to accept it. My husband offered an English note out of embarrassment (clearly THEY are NEVER forged) without question. When pressed on why they wouldn’t accept, we were met with the man who had refused the note saying that he doesn’t even work behind the bar!! Why was he there serving then?!! The owner came over and said they reserved the right to decline to accept any note they wished. We told them that English notes would never be declined in Scotland if they ever visited. Their answer? Why would we want to go there?!!! Charming!! We spent a good amount of money in this establishment and was hoping to enjoy our last night on holiday, however, it was slightly marred by this visit and their rude attitude (sarcastic response in leaving too, shouting behind us in a busy pub) and we will NEVER be back. My father (who was also there) is from Lincolnshire and was extremely embarrassed by this treatment and clearly how anti-Scots they were. Don’t worry though, the criminal Scots and their forged notes won’t be back! We urge other Scots to stay away too.

If you are expecting a modern fun pub this is not it.However do not be put off.Bridget, jim, nicky and the rest of the staff are superb.Nothing is too much trouble.Always welcoming, friendly and talkative. The sunday carvery is the best value for money available anywhere. Its gone up by a massive 50pence this year but try and beat it.You wont.Out of season the carvery stops, end of october until begining of march.Out of season it can be quiet and used mainly by the small village communitybut everyone is friendly and talkative. Its even open over christmas and new year.Try it sometime you wont be dissapointed.

We have eaten here many times, mostly at Sunday lunchtime with the carvery, which is the best food they offer. You can chose to have a small or a large meal, large gets more meat and two Yorkshire puddings on a larger plate, I find the small plate perfectly satisfying, and I can eat large portions! They also do cash back which is handy as there aren't any cash machines in the area.

Whilst staying in the area we had Sunday lunch at The Creek Tavern. Food was very tasty. We had the carvery, the member of staff who carved and served the meat was a lovely man, very happy and friendly. I had pork and my partner had beef, both were really tender. Good selection of vegetables. Nice gravy. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

There is an adults only area and a family area (inc your dog ) . and also a nice patio area outside. Sunday lunch is a carvery and comes in £4.50 for small or £6 for large with puddings available if required

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.
