A great breakfast! Planning on a bigger family breakfast party in the near future! Must remember to photograph next time!

I had a full English, but am Allergic to gluten. The manager was very knowledgeable about allergens and spoke me through step by step how they avoid cross contamination (as far as possible). My food was prepared separately. Everything I could see appeared to be very clean and tidy. The tables were cleaned promptly and thoroughly after people left. The food was really nice, and they also catered to my vegan sister. Really friendly people that work there and I'll definitely go back!

Visited with the gang for food, the hygiene of this place is disgusting. Female chef stood having a cigarette in the public area, straight back into the kitchen and behind the bar to serve what must have been a sausage roll. No hand wash at all. Toilets are tired and full of mud along with what can only be described as a very basic food offering I would avoid this place like the plague.

Was greeted by manager/owner who was very polite and welcoming Ordered English breakfast one of which was large and it was two of everything It was freshly prepared and came piping hot Tea for two was in a tea pit so we got two cups each or more out of it Plenty of space and we will be back to try wed fish and chip night Would defo recommend even just popping in for a coffee and cake Also wheelchair friendly with disabled toilets

Just been for a round of golf, brilliant course, but the bar/restaurant team (I believe husband and wife) are the kindest most friendly people you could ever wish to meet. Please try out Tetney bar and restaurant - food is DELICIOUS!!!

We visited with some friends and was welcomed by this in the toilets. Shocking is all I can say and we will absolutely not be returning. The only positive about the whole place was the lovely ladies in the clubhouse and the very reasonable prices for everything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Played the course on July 5th 2020. Excellent condition and I'm looking forward to returning. Always a bonus to have a pint afterwards and well handled during this C19 period!

Booked a meal with my wife in the restaurant and was certainly not disappointed. The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful with some lovely delicate touches on the tables and around the room. A lovely intimate place with lots of personal space and the food......wow!! All home made, none of your mass produced dishes here and the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and a nice touch of having an appropriate uniform reflecting their professionalism. Hurry and book you certainly won’t be sorry..... (just be sure to leave me a table).

Attended the first Friday Night Dining Experience. The food was first class. We chose the Sirloin Steak which was done to perfection. The dessert was fantastic. Home Made Plum Crumble Tart. We had three courses with drinks and coffee at a price which was extremely good for the quality and amount of food on the plates. The staff were very good and keen to get out feedback on the evening and the food quality and their ideas for the future. Well worth booking. You don't have to be a member of the golf club as far as I am aware.

Had a really lovely Christmas lunch. Well presented table, delicious food and very pleasant staff. Would certainly recommend.

Gave this little known eatery a try on Wednesday fish night and was pleased to say the least , very well priced At 7.95 for a nice size fresh well cooked piece of haddock and chips and there was a lovely choice Of freshly baked puddings. Staff were warm and friendly and so was the atmosphere , thoroughly enjoyed my visit will be coming again

Played this course during cold and wet weather absolutely fabulous condition for the time of the year. It can only get better when the summer gets here can't wait. Ate a meal with friends after and the cheesecake was to die for. Overall tip top course with great staff backing it up. Great prices to back it all up, lovely.

Went for a Sunday lunch. Reasonably priced for a quality meal. Both main course and dessert were first class and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We held a buffet reception at Tetney Golf Club following my mother’s funeral. The arrangements were excellent, food delicious, atmosphere perfect. The attention to detail was wonderful. At a very stressful time, everything was dealt with in a calm, professional way. We could only guess at the total number of people who would attend, and when there were many more than anticipated, extra food appeared as if by magic. Thank you, Louise and your team.

We held our childs christening reception at Tetney golf club and we was delighted with how the day went. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was brilliant with more than enough to serve the amount of guests in attendance. All guests commented how impressed they were by the food choices and amount of food on the buffet. The room layout was ideal for the amount of guests. We would like to thank the catering manager and all the staff at Tetney golf club for making the christening a special day

This is the 3rd time we have played here. Really lovely steward and stewardess. Food was amazing. Course was superb. Love playing here. Great value for money. We shall be back

Recently visited Tetney Golf Club whilst on holiday and managed to get in a days golf. I have never been before and must say everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The ladies in the club house and Aldo the guys in the pro shop too.

This has to be one of the nicest and fridndliest clubs in lincolnshire. Pro is smashing and helpful staff are lovely food is great.would recommend to anyone its a test for all levels

I've been a member here before but took a 3 year break to a more local course. It's great to be back and was welcomed back by most of the members I had known. The Seniors here have to be the friendliest and most organised in the area. The course is a delight although lots of work going on in the bunkers. The food I've had is great and good value .A gem of a club

Have been here for Sunday lunch which is excellent - caters for gluten free. Would definitely recommend.

Lunchtime snacks are terrific value. Nicely presented and top quality. Cakes are delicious so intended to call back on a Thursday for afternoon tea. Definitely worth a visit

18 of us for pre booked Sunday Lunch, mixture of ages. Excellent service and food lovely and very good value.

Great place to dine any time of day, from 7am to 5pm, and 8pm on Wednesday for fish and chips special. Looking forward to trying thier breakfast. great quality and friendly service.

This was our first time at Tetney Golf Club – and definitely our last!

Went for lunch. Food was ok, not wonderful. Surroundings dated and slightly smelling of stale fat. The host was very friendly but was not overly impressed with the whole set up. Wouldn't go again.

Great fish and chips on a Wednesday. Cooked to order and well presented. Fish is very fresh and chips not frozen.

I had agreed to meet with family at this local golf club where I was professionally greeted by Howard. The golf club's restaurant is clearly a hidden gem which needs to be discovered. The place was a hive of activity with a Captain's buffet lunch and I was met with good humour by all. On settling into the restaurant I was surprised by the great choice on offer and opted for fish and chips. Beautifully presented and one of the best pieces of haddock I have eaten in a long time. Nicely washed down with a single serve Prosecco. Attentive service throughout, nothing too much trouble. Other diners were loudly raving about the homemade steak pie which I will try on my next visit. Compliments to the Chef and to Howard for a wonderful relaxing lunch in great surroundings.

After a round of golf, 26 of us sat down for either fish & chips or steak & ale pie & chips.Both offerings were top notch, every plate left clean.Staff were 1st class & looked after us all day, highly recommended, can't wait to return.

Shames about this place, its just up the road but has no defining entrance, smells fusty and food not always on, due to the lack of custom. This place would be great if it had a make over and people could reply on great food all the time. The only time it does any good is on a Fish and Chip night on Wednesdays.

Our friend treated us to fish and chips last month, first time I visited the venue was very pleased, very friendly and clean we enjoyed the ride out and will call again, massive car park well worth going.

I live near Grimsby where the Fish & Chips are usually very good. Last Wednesday at Tetney Golf Club I had the best ever! Encouraged me to write this. How something so simple can be so good astounds me. Anybody can go, you do not have to be a member. It's clean, tidy and very reasonable but certainly not a posh golf club. Please try it. Wednesday is Fish and Chips night but a decent menu is always available.

We have eaten here many times in the past as we are local. We stopped recommending it to clients who stay in our 8 cottages as it has been very disappointing for some time.We are wary of reviewing as it seems that when the chef changes so does the quality of the food, but we have eaten here twice this week, Really good fresh fish and chips, grilled or battered, fresh salad with a lovely balsamic reduction. We took friends who said they would certainly go again.

Living in Tetney it's actually nice to be able to walk and leave the car enabling us to enjoy a drink also on a Sunday lunch time, we have been several times now and each visit the food was excellent (Try the Brie parcels for starters), the service has always been friendly and attentive, not been for a couple of weeks now due to work commitments, but we will most certainly be back soon, many thanks !!

I have being to the restaurant a few times now ...the food is lovely ...

Called in here first for a drink, them came back later with my wife for a meal. Only one real ale available and a bit pricey at that. The meal was adequate but no more. Everything was kinda so-so without anything being exceptional. My wife also thought the same. Friendly staff and reasonable value but just way too ordinary in every respect.

Tonight was not our first visit to the Tetney Golf Course Club House and it will definitely not be our last. Fish and chips Wednesdays are not to be missed! The fish was as fresh as a daisy and real chips and homemade mushy peas! What is there not to love! Their fish and chips give any restaurant in this area a run for their money! We have also had Sunday lunch there and it has been beautiful - if I could afford it, I would dine there every week. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Don't drive by - give it a try and you wont be dissappointed.

We called in here for tea to have the 2 for 1 menu as we had heard it was very good. The new bar manager was very friendly and welcoming, encouraged us to sit near the wood burning stove while we waited for our order, and then moved over to the table. Unfortunately our fish and chips were not up to standard and when we mentioned this she went to check with the chef. She came and explained there had been a mix up with the fish and apologised profusely, she also invited us to come back on the Wednesday fish night to experience the fish and chips again which apparently are legendary - you have to book because it is so popular! The problem could not have been sorted better and we wish the new management all the best and look forward to coming in for our fish and chips. Thanks

Lovely home cooked food and good menus. Worth a visit, especially for Sunday dinner and proper chips. I bring my children as well and they're very accommodating.

After seeing a sign that it had been taken over, we decided to pop in for Sunday Lunch. Amazing home cooked food and was pleasantly surprised. Returned for the 2 for 1 menu and the Fishcakes are to die for.
