The best restaurants serving British food in East Midlands

First visit in many years and can’t complain at all. I had the belly pork and my partner had the chicken schnitzel, both were excellent. Would visit again.

Atmospheric pub. Friendly. Not spoiled by thoughtless modernisation.

Lovely country pub with great service. Food spot on and lovely quality. Nice walk up and easy uber back if you're staying at one of the airport hotels and wanted to support a local business like we did.

We went in on a quiet Friday lunchtime, so we didn't get to see it busy. It's a lovely pub, very clean and tidy and plenty of drink choices. The staff seemed very friendly, so we'll definitely be back

Brew their own beer. Fantastic selection of other beers. Affable staff. What’s not to like.

I don’t like it when you make Herpman work instead of playing Among Us. He’s just a sussy little baka who loves being the imposter and faking his tasks. Lots of love though, I do love pints!

Absolutely amazing place. Friendliest staff I have had for a long time. Delicious food, really accommodating and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Called on way back from Cambridge on off chance. What a find, fantastic menu. a variety to suit everyone Prawns to start 6. I had steak my wife had chicken shashlik we both had all the trimmings. We go for a curry every week at a few different places she said its best chicken she ever tasted, and shes a city and guilds chef. Parking is a bit difficult but persevere its worth it.

Excellent fish and chips, cooked fresh to order. Crispy and delicious. Attentive service that went over and above what you might expect in a chippy.

Took our daughter there for her 8th birthday dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Lovely experience. Will definitely be going again.

Good pub food, large selection mostly not homemade. Venison slightly chewy. Good pub atmosphere and good beer selection. Pleasant efficient service.

Food was decent. Heating was really warm. Very busy and atmosphere lively. Had vegetarian meal and some Guinness. Would go again.

Had THE most delicious 😋 steak and mushroom pie ,the best I have ever tasted huge pie but what I couldn't eat my partner finished off ,lovely staff, well worth a visit can highly recommend.
