Cute individual cafe. Excellent service from a very polite lady and man. I had the lasagna which was very tasty and plentiful. I've visited twice and will definitely visit again. The prices were very reasonable.

Took a couple of friends with us after reserving a table for four and they were well impressed even our dog who was given some biscuits for being good.

An excellent small, friendly pub, much frequented by locals. Please note there is no food available other than a range of crisps etc.

Great wee bar with a good selection of beers. Friendly staff too.

Just had Christmas lunch at Y Cwtsh and, as usual for their food, it was absolutely beautiful. The food is always plentiful and tasty, the staff are cheerful and helpful. It's a weekly treat for me

I chose this restaurant as it looked lovely and the reviews I read were mostly positive. We met friends for lunch and had a good table, good service but the food was just average, nothing to rave about. The bill came to a whopping £211 with an optional service charge of 12.5% on top. I chose to leave a 11.% tip rounding up to the nearest round figure, which I felt was fair. As we were leaving, I was chased by the waitress to say that I hadn't left the full tip! Wow, when it is an optional service charge, surely it is my prerogative to leave a tip that I am comfortable with? I was embarrasssed and very disappointed to be accosted in this manner in front of my friends (I was paying for lunch). I would not return for that reason. Cold food. Minimal steak in phiili steak roll, all salad. Complete rip off

A bit late for a review however myself and my family where here in Feb during a visit for the six nations. It was my highlight of the trip (maybe not the highlight Ireland did win). The steak was superb. Excellently cooked. I’m going back to Edinburgh next February and can’t wait to come back to this restaurant

First time in since it has changed management due to ill health. The place was cold, quiet with only one other person at another table. I Had a look at the menu while waiting on friends. Noticed the significant price increases. It seemed a little bare grubby and lost its cosy homely charm. A young male waiter came to take our order, pleasant enough but when we asked if it was Lindsays day off. We were informed lindsey was no longer at the posthouse, this was a real shame cos we loved the atmosphere and ambience she created, nothing was ever an issue with her. We proceeded to order, our cultery and glasses weren't not polished, teapots were stained. Our breakfasts arrived after a lengthy wait, toast was cold, eggs overdone. Overall was not a pleasant experience and kept our coats on the whole time we were there.. Will not be back until it improves.

A lovely welcoming pub with fantastic food. Pool table, darts board and jukebox.

Haven't sampled the food yet, but love everything else about this pub. Great lounge, friendly staff and massive carpark. They regularly hold events like quizzes, flower arranging and art workshops.

Amazing service and delicious food, and to top it all off a great wine selection.
