Excellent bacon sandwiches and coffee. High quality food in artisan coffee house. Go in the morning for the bakery specials as they run out. Lovely place in a small town on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

Lovely coffee and bread. Friendly service. I would have given it five stars but the toilet needs a facelift. I think places need to consider the facilities that they offer their customers. I know it might not be the highest priority, but I think it matters to customers.

Great little breakfast/lunch spot. The mushrooms on toast is my go to. The sourdough is absolutely delicious and love to pick up a loaf every now and then.

Lovely relaxed Saturday morning breakfast in Launceston. We had delicious scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on fresh sourdough, then the best donut I have had in my entire life (creme brulee donut. Good god. So amazing) Excellent service, very clean, nicest spot for breakfast in Launceston.

We chanced upon this whilst breaking our journey to Surrey. It’s pretty small and was full when we arrived. They have a great menu and tasty cakes and great coffee. It’s reasonably priced (especially the cakes) and the staff are great. They run baking courses as well!

Really nice fresh food and drinks, especially the bread and the cakes. Good to see a local, artisan business doing so well - it deserves to.

Called in on the off chance. Small establishment with limited seating so it helps if don’t mind sharing. We ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with back bacon and smoked salmon. Food was piping hot on arrival and very tasty. Accompanied by very good coffees and a great selection of pickles laid out on the table. All in all a very friendly experience.

A friend and I stopped here for a coffee, which was very good. We also had a couple of their peanut butter biscuits, which were a great snack too. However, the sourdough bread that I picked up was superb. Very fresh, and delicious with a meal we had later that evening.

Get there early for the bread or order the day before.Lunch is great value but can get full. The owners are amazing. They just chat and remember you from months before if you are out of town. A real Cornish welcome. Love the place

We saw the bread through the window and thought it looked del, so I went in and bought a lovely sour dough loaf. When we ate it later it was very delicious and made excellent toast.

This marvellous little bakery near the centre of Launceston produces a range of sourdough loaves, sweet and savoury scones, and also cakes. All these items taste really good. A small café area at the back of the shop serves scones and cakes. We had warm freshly-baked cheese scones, still slightly crisp on the outside, with local home-produced pickle and some salad - it was just heavenly!

I arrived with a group of friends for coffee and cake! Very disappointing. I was suprised to experience that the proprietor came to the table with burnt scones and heavy cake. My conscience would not have allowed anyone to accept them for sale. The environment was tense and crowded. Not a place to relax and feel valued unless you like burnt offerings!!

Good for a light lunch and also sell an unusual variety of breads. Not much seating room, but worth trying to get in. Outstanding soup. Very friendly proprietor and friendly atmosphere in general. Table sharing means you could meet some interesting people.

Wonderful bakery with small seating area in which to enjoy lovely coffee, delicious bakes and lunchtime eats. The couple who run it are warm and welcoming, and the bread they produce, which is baked on site, is the best in the area.

We've been coming to Cornwall for nearly a decade now, and have gotten somewhat used to the mainly poor to average fare available to sevice the desperate tourists in need of a quick fix to feed the kids. We popped in to Launceston to pick up some dog stuff from the pet shop a few doors down, and walked past the window for the bakery. It looked far better than the usual bakery / cafe you'd find in Cornwall, with quite a tasteful and sophisticated appeal, so we popped in. Artisan foods done well at a decent price. Its clear they've taken their time and put a lot of love into the place as there lots of nice little touches Very pleased and would go again if in the area. So nice even bought some scones and bread to take home.

I went to look for this bakery in Callington as its under the Callington trip advisor page to my surprise it's not even in Callington but the town of Launceston. This is very misleading and will confuse anyone looking for it.

Came upon the little bakehouse by chance, what a very good find. We had a late afternoon snack, we choose lovely tomato and blue cheese soup, walnut and Stilton scones, focaccia with dips, sour dough toast with lovely local honey or jam. We also found room for lemon drizzle, oat and cranberry biscuits and Victoria sandwich. All was lovely and fresh, tasty and wholesome. We sat on a wooden table with other diners, which made for a friendly atmosphere. Take away is also available, locals were popping in out and out.The host was friendly and when complemented on the coffee, told us about his supplier Sabines, a local coffee importer/ roaster. We also bought a jar of the local honey. This bakery is a husband and wife team, we wish them every success with this delightful business.

Won tea and cakes in a raffle. Decided to use the prize mid-morning. My husband selected tea and cherry cake and I couldn't resist the assorted brioche and coffee. Lovely gentleman serving. Everywhere clean and tidy. Introducd to the owner who chatted with us about the new venture. Loved the gentleman tea infusers, a well thought out personal touch. Would not hesitte to recommend this restaurant to anyone. The rosemary and salt bread I purchased tasted lovely.

We have frequented here a few times since it's recent opening. The husband and wife team offer a great customer service and the little touches go along way. For exampe, offering for us to try the soup and brings a taster with a selection of breads led us to eating in. Yesterday, I asked the lady (the baker) for advice on yeast and she gave my daughter and I some really good advice, even offering to give us some yeast if we brought in a pot and said she would give my daughter some instructions for 'feeding' it in the fridge.I only hope that they sell enough bread to allow them to make a success and wish the place was larger so they coudl accomodate more seating as they have a niche market and would eat there more.Lovely little place, very relaxed and great customer service! Keep up the good work!

The ice creams here are beautiful! Really generous portions and are very well presented. The customer service we received was outstanding, my daughter had a massive meltdown (ASD) and they were nothing but supportive, understanding and helpful. We'd had a very tough day today with meltdowns galore and this one was by far the worst of the day yet I never felt alone or judged. People like you make the biggest difference and I am so very grateful for you going out of your way to help and care. Thank you x
