Best sticky toffee pudding ever!! Also some of the best baked goods on offer — baked cheesecake, lemon meringue pie, donuts. The triple chocolate brownie is life changing. We lowkey moved to St Albans because of this place

Stopped for dinner and found the pub very welcoming and excepted dogs. There was 4 of us 2 had the sausages and mash which was excellent, 1 person had the gammon and chips and 1 had the homemade steak pie full of lean steak, all the food was excellent and a good portion. Also the prices very good and a good menu choice. Would highly recommend.

It was a superb discovery, the cuisine is top-notch and we loved the ultra-fresh seafood. The service is as charming as it is efficient...; We'll definitely be coming back when we're back in the region.

We had a very good Sunday roast. The only, minor, niggle is that the yorkshire puddings were a bit overdone. A great selection of beers and attentive but in intrusive service.

Excellent fish and chips, sit down chippy. Serves bottled beer if you fancy it.

Stopped here for food after a long walk. Lovely small restaurant which is themed just like an American diner. I had the Cheese burger which was really good. Nicely cooked meat, really good pretzel bun and large amount of crispy fries. My wife had the Chicken Parmo which was also really good (and a lot of food!) Perfectly cooked chicken with lovely crispy coating and topped with an insane amount of bechamel sauce and cheese. It was so big that the fries came in a separate bowl as they wouldn't fit on the place! We don't drink fizzy drinks and sometimes it can feel uncomfortable to just order tap water, but after bringing our water over, we were told we could refill them ourselves from the water machine at the front of the bar. Lovely meal with good food and really friendly service. Would recommend this place, and we will be back!

A wonderful Pub where the expert eye for detail includes the bespoke handmade diary (must be worth a fortune!). Well worth a visit.

Decor a little 70s but the fish is 5 star!
