The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

We’ve been many times now on our visits but took some friends who hadn’t been before , they loved it . I can not recommend this enough , the food is exceptional with its flavours , presentation and freshness of the fish . The doughnuts are a must !! The service was brilliant really attentive and friendly , well done guys your the whole package you should be very proud . Thankyou

What can I say used to love this place but whst has changed seemingly more a creche for kids than a restaurant (suppose they need to save on wages), food was ok nothing to write home about but if I wanted to spend my time with loud and brash kids I would of eaten at my local, heard they are closing and re opening as something new, maybe the new place will be run by adults for adults

Persinale gentilissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Le pietanze sono di estrema qualutà . La Chef, Rosanna è impareggiabile per gentilezza è competenza. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Starting of with the Shakshuka it was beautifully poached and the eggs were cooked to perfection as the yolk was runny and broke smoothly. The Shakshuka was nice with the veggies added to it. All the flavours were perfect and the bread was really good quality as it never got hard. The Medi breakfeast was perfect with the little dips. It’s not soemthing we would go for but I’m glad we tried it as it was really nice. French toast was aesthetically pleasing to look at and tasted Devine. The fresh fruits, clotted cream and maple syrup was amazing it worked really well together. If you love a sweet breakfeast this is for you! With English breakfast you just can’t go wrong. Everything was cooked to perfection. The hashbrows were really nice and crispy. Eggs royal was amazing it’s one of the best royal we ever had. We have never tried it with brioche before but it worked perfectly.

The food is over priced and the owner/manager is a little slimy. Oh and PLEASE don't leave a tip the owner keeps them🤔they do not get passed on to the hard working staff, I know this because a former staff member told me.

Warm friendly atmosphere. Country cafe. Relaxing. Delicious Home Farm Rarebit with a bottle of Dartmoor IPA. Lovely.

We are regular customers here and highly reccommend it as we really enjoy the food and appreciate the accomodating staff! The menu caters well for meat eaters and vegetarians. You get an extra treat of a baklava too at the end of your meal!

Really great experience last night, wonderful cocktails made by the friendliest staff i have come across in Portishead, , the atmosphere was great too . 2-4-1 Cocktails was the perfect start to an evening out , thank you

Wow, what a place! My first time last month with a friend and sat in the upstairs snug, looking out to the high street. Wonderful cocktails and amazing service! Can’t wait to visit again in a few weeks

Coming to Eastbourne Aka Restaurant, the food is the best. It's really delicious and the service is the best. It's the best restaurant I've ever been to. I would like to introduce Aka Restaurant to those who come to Eastbourne.

We’ve been here a few times, as I like the varied menu and the fish is great . This time again, I really enjoyed my fish, halibut , likewise husband, who had the stone bass and taramasalata to start . For desert we had apple crumble soufflé and the choux bun. I’ve only given 4 stars for a few little niggles. The pastry on the choux bun was quite hard . My halibut dish said it came with artichoke, which I love, but when it came , there were small crispy bits all over the fish , which could have been crispy artichoke, but hard to tell. I asked the waitress if that’s what it was , she didn’t know and didn’t bother finding out . Although the staff were friendly enough, for me there’s a few things missing that I’m used to in a decent restaurant- no checking if food is ok, no checking if we want another drink . I do appreciate not having a service charge on the bill though , as it’s nicer to tip what you think is appropriate

We called in whilst visiting Ludlow to do a bit of shopping. We had a look around and had two takeaway coffees. We were so impressed that we went back for lunch. We ate a pepperoni pizza outside which was absolutely delicious. Pizza was on a sourdough base and was to die for. My wife and I both agreed it was the best pizza we had ever eaten (we’ve had a lot) The lady owner was lovely, and a really good host. We bought a few provisions from the well stocked shop as well. Highly recommend

Terrible comida, servicio no mucho mejor. Pedimos 2 x kebabs y una porción de papas fritas. Los kebabs eran probablemente los peores que he comido, eran montones de basura envueltos. Las patatas fritas, no me di cuenta de que había pedido el tamaño súper minut. Por el precio que pagamos fue extremadamente decepcionante, basura muy cara.

Visité ayer para cenar y el servicio y la comida fue increíble. Personal atento y bistec cocinado a la perfección. Antonio vino a nuestra mesa para conversar y el otro camarero Rakim me dijo que su madre era de mi cuello del bosque. A pesar de que vivimos muy lejos, volveremos a fin de mes para otra excelente cena.

Recently had a celebratory meal here for 14 of us. Service was excellent and the food was amazing, we did do a pre-order which ensured everyone’s meal was bang on. Big shout out to the staff who made it such a good day.
