Can't comment on the service or atmosphere as we ordered a takeaway to be delivered. The humous was a small bowl of grease which we didn't eat. Tasted absolutely horrible. And after eating the grilled chicken I was up all night with stomach trouble and sickness. The same the next day, stomach cramps, stomach trouble and sickness. Put me off takeaway for life! Definitely gave me food poisoning Would not recommend. We chose this place as it had good reviews online. Wasted good money on this and ruined the evening and next day

Went for an informal meal with my teenage son while my wife was away, expecting something like an improved takeaway with eat-in. Was very pleasantly surprised to find very pleasant surroundings, friendly staff and great food. I unknowingly chose their "renowned" mixed grill and the fear set in when I was later told that the couple next to us was sharing one and the waiter starter re-arranging things on the table to make room for it. A huge metal bowl of tasty meats arrived that I managed maybe 2/3rds of, despite arriving hungry. Very much regretting the very enjoyable Bumba's nachos that I shared with my son as a starter!. He had a steak strip burger that he said was very good and was enough that he wasn't able to help me with my meat dilemma. Overall a very good meal, only reduced from 5 stars due to the fact the only drinks available where from cans and a single J2O variety, could have done with some more non-fizzy drink options.

As you can tell from the 58 photos i added i am a regular haha, this is the best place for me in town hands down, food is amazing, price is amazing, and the staff always take care of you and are attentive and friendly. Whether you want to eat in or takeout you will not be disappointed. Shame i havent been in a while due to all my friends and family working now :( I shall see you again soon hopefully Thanks for taking care of us all the time

Visited this place after nearly ten years. Standards have definitely dropped. Food was very standard, steak was disappointing, I had to force myself to eat but gave up and didn't finish it. The place was cold and grim, chairs and table were very uncomfortable, they need to refurbish the place and make the place welcoming. It seems like they've spent nothing on the place for years. I definitely won't be returning for at least another ten years.

Called in Bumba's grill with a mate just by the off chance because we were in the area and obviously hungry. Went it was shown to a table and given menu's so good service. The food we had on the other hand I wouldn't recommend at all. I ordered BBQ Chicken wings as a starter what I got was Peri Peri chicken wings with a drizzle of bbq sauce. I ordered a so called prime steak strips and chips for my main what I got was little tiny cut up pieces of meat with grilled onions and fries. Got a ferrero rocher cheese cake which was ok. "Only reason for the 1⭐️ for food. My mate ordered the mix griller which had all been smothered in a sauce Seriously who wants Lamb chops and peri peri chicken wings with seek kebab and texas chicken that all tastes the same ??? Nobody that's who.

The mixed grills are really tasty! Have been meaning to try the burgers but the mixed grills are just too good to refuse. Usually order take-outs which arrive nice and hot.

The food came piping hot really enjoyed the nachos steak n chips the best part was the Ferrero chocolate cheesecake it was airy and a delightful end to the evening

UNREAL! How can a restaurant/take out be so good? So accommodating as well I am a big eater and requested a larger than normal portion and it was supplied! Can’t fault the place I honestly can’t.

I went for a meal the other day and the steak was all gamy and chewy. I got home after and vomited it all out. Will not be coming back here. As well as that the portions are so small yet so expensive. Not a great value for money either

Bumbas is always top quality food with friendly, chatty staff. I recommend this place to everyone I speak to when suggesting places to eat within rawtenstall and it's well worth a trip over with a very varied menu.

Absolutely fantastic food, tried almost every item on the menu, each one is as tasty as the other and better than anywhere else around Rossendale. Food always hot on time and is exceptional value for money, Would highly highly recommend the home made cheesecake.

Excellent at bumbas grill .just popped in tonight and had homemade fresh milkshakes for me and my 4 children. Really nice milkshakes we had Ferrero roche, maltesers, mint aero, orio cookies and cream. Really good. Would definitely go there again. Plenty of seating inside too

This place came highly recommended and lived up to it's billing. Top quality food and accommodating staff. Food was superb and fresh tasting. Good size portions this place has the standard takeaway food but elevates it to a new standard with some complex and unique-tasting flavours. Definitely not a run of the mill place this.

Been going to this place regularly and can honestly say it is an awesome place. The customer service is second to none, Khalid and the team really go out of their way to make sure all customers are happy. The food is sensational, I have never been left disappointed and have always felt like I've got my moneys worth. The place has a very homely feel to it and I will definitely be visiting again soon. Try it once and I can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Amazing service! We went for iftari last week but it was about to close. Google said it closed as 11pm and we got there for around 10:35pm, they were closing up a bit early to go taravee but the brother opened back up and gave us meals on the house including drinks and dessert. We are very grateful for the hospitality and customer service shown to us on this night. Will definitely be going back here again but will make sure we attend earlier! Thanks again from us lot in Manchester.

Visited for first time. Really enjoyed the food and service was really good. Friendly and welcoming staff with advice and recommendations on what to choose. Three of us went, all three had different starters and different mains. All happy with our meals. Love that the food is freshly prepared and home made. My hummus was really lovely and came with loads of naan. My home made veggie burger was really good too. Plenty of food ( mixed grill was really big!) and great relaxed atmosphere- we’ll definitely be back. Reminder that if you go it’s cash not cards.

After hearing good reviews I was so disappointed with the service and quality of food. You have to pay by cash which we was told at the end and had to go to spar. I left 80% of the food.

Go here quite often. The place itself is clean and tidy, the staff are really friendly and couldn't do enough for you, you don't wait long at all for the food to be on your plate and it's served fresh, hot and absolutely spot on every time, not had any issues with anything I've tried off the menu and the price is ridiculously cheap for the quality. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I couldn't recommend it enough

Expensive meat burgers. Chips were done well. Beef Rice was very nice, expensive to travel out of city for 9 quid rice though. Definitely for the rich. No tap water available and no poppadoms on the house :(

first time i went to this grill bar what a rubbish experience what a rubbish place, they dont even serve alcoholic drinks they only serve soft drinks in glass bottles also they didnt offer a glass with the drink, they said they dont use glass so you have to drink out the bottle, i was surprised that the food came out on a plates not throw away plate and plastic cutlery, what a complete over priced place this is will not be spending money in there again. 2 meals and a starter with 2 soft drinks £35.00 never again

Top marks for food and service, can't fault anything, had a garlic bread and mixed grill, it was delicious, finished off with the mango cheesecake. Current status... Food coma!! Overpriced, basic food and in a remote location with no salaah facilities. Chips were frozen and food took ages to be served! On top of this they refused to serve me tap water. A poor restaurant experience, I will not be returning.

Good quality meat, great flavour cooked with skill. Chips are as good as chip shop chips.

The meat from this place is heavenly , almost sweet. Really is one on its own, we have the mixed platter that is a big eat but so so tasty. If you haven’t tried it you need to! Like no other!

Wow, gourmet style, wholesome soul food in Rawtenstall! We ordered a whole peri peri chicken meal and a steak combo (lamb chops and beef steak). Both meals were delicious with generous portions. All meats were cooked to perfection, the chippy style chips were ultimate comfort food and the vegetables were cooked well.

Excellent every time we visit here, takeaway or eat in is always superb. The eat out to help out deal makes this place unmissable!! The staff are always friendly, the service is always efficient and the food delicious. Highly recommended. Don’t forget, they only accept cash- a couple were caught out by this while we were there although the staff went above and beyond to help them.

Fantastic food. We ordered the big daddy burger ( double) and the philly steak burger, both came with chips and 2 delicious sauces. The philly steak burger was meaty but really tender, it had a jalepeno kick to it and smothered in really gorgeous cheese and sauce. The big daddy burger was huge and delicious, the chips were proper chips cooked in something very tasty. Loved it and will def be ordering again very soon

A friend took me on his recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. Been at least a dozen times. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, good choice great value. The mixed grill is the showstopper., but I love the kebabs. Garlic bread is awesome. And the donnar meat is a must to. A definite recommendation from me. You need to try this place.

Asked for a burger and got chicken on a skewe

We ordered a delivery and it came within 30 minutes, hot and fresh. I can't stress enough how tasty the food was.... Everything from the donner meat down to the side sauces. But let me tell you, the chicken wings are by far the best I've ever had, sweet, spicy and smokey! The donner meat is on another level, succulent and juicy with a kick! And the chicken bites were like mini pakoras with a twist. A previous order a few nights back I ordered the bumba's mixed grill....a warning to those who want to tackle it alone like I did...... Be ready for meat sweats! It was amazing and easily would feed two. These guys have absolutely nailed it. Keep up the good work, Bumba's!

Always a pleasure to go here for a steak, these guys have a great place and are very friendly. Don't sell alcohol but defo make up for it with the food.

We got a takeaway following a recommendation from a friend. Varied menu - grills, burgers, pizza, hotdogs, wings, chicken etc. Nice flavours, freshly cooked and good portion size. If you fancy a meat fix, then would recommend. Just one recommendation - please put menu on your website or Facebook page. Had to rely on customer pictures of menu and was impossible to read descriptions.

Ok good points first ... returning after 2 years and I have to say the food is still delicious, especially the donner on naan. Succulent and full of flavour ... everything is fresh and carefully prepared. Easily the best food place in this area - but i already knew this. Bad points - the place is very small and works better as a takeaway, in fact should be just a takeaway. What used to be cosy little seating is now old , haggered and in dire need of a makeover (pic attached). I went with family and we kept our coats on - despite 2 very small wall heaters they have no adequate heating and unapologetic about this too. The food is served in woks , plates and grills but you have to have the drinks out of cans ... no glasses ? Why ? This is is extremely offputting. As i love the food so much i will just have it as takeout next time - i dont want to freeze whilst I eat and service with no smile doesnt help.

Went to Bumba's tonight and the food was amazing. There was flavour in everything and it's hard to pick a highlight. We had the chicken peri-peri nachos, a mixed grill and then homemade cheesecake. We would recommend them all.

Wow! First visit and cannot fault quality of food or service. Delicious and generous portions. Chicken wings to die for. All the meat was fantastic and the chips were top notch, seemingly no mean feat for most restaurants. Unassuming first impressions but don't let that fool you, some if the best food in the area. Decent grill place in a small town. I'll be honest the chips were dead, but the burger itself is to die for and am a fat kid who adores his burgers when I visit here. Make sure you order the level 5 I dare you lol

Decent enough food. The menu could do better to explain and elaborate on certain items e.g no description of what you expect on nachos and no detail as to what level 1-5 pertains to on big daddy burger. The sauces are pretty weak. Ketchup was strange colour, no mayonnaise, chilli sauce lacked chilli. If these guys sorted their sauces out, threw in some daily specials and improved the lighting and menu, they would be 5 stars.

Ordered Mixed Meat (chicken & steak) on rice. Hits the taste buds and you can tell the ingredients are Quality. Try these guys out if your reading what im saying to you right now. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED 100%...... ps iv dont know these guys from Adam so im sharing my experience and opinion... Enjoy lol
