The absolute best Turkish restaurant I have been to in England!! I travel from East London just to come here and eat. The food is beyond yummy. The bread, salad and sauces served complimentary on arrival ar just so delicious and I could honestly just eat that on it's own. The mixed grilled platter is full of turkish meats, rice and bulgar and will make you leave with a full tummy. I always have to take a doggy bag home. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and very attentive. Can't wait to come back again (for my 4th visit) !!!!!

Ordered from here for our annual end of season meal. 61 kebabs was ordered and it’s was delivered to our venue on time and still hot, had great feedback from the club stating how much they enjoyed the food. The food is very tasty and the portions are very generous ! I really appreciated that the waiter offered me straight away to take the left over at home I didn’t even have to ask. The staff are adorable, I will definitely come back, thank you guys !

Food was amazing. Quality is really good and service is top class. We went there on Friday evening, it was a bit noisy but not their fault. I definitely recommend here. Food is delicious.

The only thing you pay for is the decorations. Poor quality meats used. Plus they didn’t honour the 10% that being a snap fitness member should get. Honestly I support local businesses but there’s too much choice in Turkish to stick to one, go to another. Atesh or even aura if you want ambiance!

Disappointing Lahmacun Experience at Efezade I recently had an underwhelming experience with the lahmacun I ordered from Efezade. Upon noticing that the lahmacun was not freshly cooked, I inquired with the waiter, who confirmed that it had been reheated in a microwave. This reheating process resulted in a lahmacun with a dry, chewy crust and a lack of the vibrant flavours that I expected. Serving reheated lahmacun to customers who are seeking an authentic Turkish culinary experience is borderline insulting. Overall, I would not recommend ordering the lahmacun from Efezade.

Happy hockey club, we ordered 55 kebabs and was overwhelmed with the amount of food we received. The food was yummy. Process of ordering was quick and easy and the manager was so helpful. We asked for delivery and it was delivered on time and steaming hot. We will 100% be back to order again.

Ordered via just eat 18:15 food arrived 20:50, cold and sloppy. Although the delivery is a just eat issue which we are addressing, I was in contact with the restaurant that told me the food was cold and had been left sitting there and that they were going to bin it as it was not suitable to be served, despite this they still released the food. The restaurant refused to offer any compensation, or prepare new food even after I offered to collect. They told me there had been an issue with just eat for days and they were looking to stop using them as a delivery service, despite this they had still accepted my order and then passed all blame to just eat. They also told me they would be taking the matter up with just eat and get compensated for their own loss, but refused to do anything out of good will to help with my meal. Over £70 worth of food in the bin and we are at a loss. Just eat refuse to refund the full amount as the restaurant released the order to be delivered. Really poor service. Be careful if you consider paying for any delivery from this restaurant prior to receiving your food !

We really enjoyed our meal at Efezafe Mezze Grill at the weekend. Large and varied menu, waiting staff really friendly and efficient, food well-presented and delicious, with generous portions but reasonable prices. The restauranti s attractively decorated, and not noisy (no doubt because it was lunchtime). It was a shame that a table near to ours had a screaming baby, but that's not the restaurant's fault, and it didn't spoil our enjoyment. Definitely recommended for somewhere to have a great meal if you're in the Debden area.

Tried this restaurant first time. Ordered Chicken shish and vegetable shish. Both lovely and very flavoursome. Bread was nice and Tzatziki was tasty. Absolutely disgusting customer service. We have ordered from this restaurant a number of times, because the food is actually really good. But pretty much every single time there are items missing from the delivery!! Now I am starting to believe it is a genuine attempt to defraud customers - they hope you won’t notice or bother to call them up and arrange for the missing items to be delivered. They refuse to issue refunds and hang up on the telephone. I asked to speak to the manager and he shouted at me. Appalling. Be warned. We certainly won’t be ordering again.

Superb value for money and simply delicious! The food portions are generous, with good quality products and meat. We had to talk half of our shared starter platter home so we could actually fit in our mains! Venue is well decorated throughout. Highly recommend

We were a group of friends reuniting after a long time on a quiet evening at this restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the food and a variety of dishes were chosen. The starter sharing platters were excellent and the fish main course was wonderful. The service was good.

I was on my trail shifts not very professional people at all.They pay you what you work and they take all service charge tips and cash tips so staff don’t get the tips it’s not very nice work atmosphere they don’t know how to run restaurant.

Waited over an hour for our food only for it to not turn up, spoke to the manager he was extremely rude with no explanation of where our delivery was and put the phone down on me. Heard bad things about them from others just wish we’d taken peoples advice and avoided. Never again!

Gave us the wrong food, when we said it was wrong they said it wasn't, didn't want to eat it as it was wrong! Then when the table next to us said it was their food they gave it to them saying we hadn't touched it, but we'd been sitting breathing over it for 10mins poking to check if it was what we ordered just on one plate - the table next to us saw us doing it too but the manager came out and said we didn't touch it, the table next to us saw us when it came out wrong but they still tried to make them take it. Our food was OK, the meat was nicely cooked but the rice was lumpy and the service overall let them down big time. Also, the order that was wrongly given to us, a platter, looked amazing too! Then we were given the wrong bill (luckily we checked £40+ difference), so obviously the tables got mixed up when they took our order.

Best Turkish ever. Large portions, food quality excellent, meat absolutely tender and moist. Lovely salad. Herbs and seasoning spot on. Toilets clean. Interior nice. Value for money. Staff so accomadating. Highly recommend.

Food was good, but the service spoiled the entire meal (3 of our party of 6 never received their main course).

Very good food, and very friendly staff. The prices seem a little high at first but you get a TON of food for it. We ordered a platter for 2 and that fed 3 of us easily. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that there are better similar Turkish restaurants, such as Gökyüzü.

Really disappointed. Second time in a row ordering they have delivered without bread. Just spent 41 pound on a takeaway and call them up to ask where our bread is and they tell me to come and collect it again. Will not be using efezade again nor recommending to anyone. Not only that the food was freezing. And the manager told me the uber driver must have eaten the bread. Couldn't make it up

Don't bother. Used to be good but the last 3 orders have been up to an hour late and when calling to chase the staff are rude. The large kebab is also no longer any larger than the small apart from 2 extra pieces of chicken but still twice the price. When querying the staff asked if I would prefer it to be served in a plastic bag. Giving up with it, go elsewhere

Blown away by the new lunch menu. Disappointed before but glad I visited again as the food was outstanding! I had the lamb beyti and their was enough to feed 2. So delicious. Keep up the great work Efe. Only grumble is the staff always seem to be miserable. Service with a smile makes a big difference!

Food was delivered soggy cold and an edible whole lot got thrown away. The chips were soggy and sweaty the chicken was also soggy I asked for no red cabbage I had more red cabbage and I’ve ever seen my Pitta bread was missing

The food was not good. If you want legit turkish food, go to kervan or even gokyuzu. They also told us that the turkish tea was free but then they were going to charge us for it. New management are a joke, no idea of traditional turkish dishes and extremely rude, the manager I tried speaking to on the phone hid behind the chef who was clueless as to what i ordered and told me to pay again and another member of staff who huffed and puffed more than she spoke. Wish the old management continued what once was an amazing authentic Turkish restaurant. Oh well, wood oven in South Woodford it is.
