£24 = 4 x lamb chops lol, who pays these prices, I hope you sink with your inflated prices!

Top food! Whole family enjoyed their take away food. Really liked my chicken Shish. Will be coming back real soon 👌🏿

Usually order takeaway from here most Fridays. Never really have a bad meal. Sheesh or chicken Donner are absolutely top quality and so tasty. I would recommend Loughton BBQ although I've noticed their prices are beginning to creep up.

Poor quality and very small portion, this is medium shish for £13, not even enough for a child! Overall not value for money. The photo for medium vs large shish.

Visiting a relative in Loughton she suggested Turkish food (which is always a winner in my book) but the restaurant she selected was full. So we plumped for the Loughton Grill. It was as empty as the other restaurant was full so we weren’t expecting much to be honest, but we were limited for time and were hungry! My father selected chicken stew, the relatives chicken shish and I went for lamb cutlets. We needn’t have worried my lamb cutlets were so flavoursome, cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth, crispy bits added an extra dimension! The salad was super (I’d recommend some sliced red onions be added), the rice perfect and the bulgur added an extra taste dimension. The chicken stew elicited yummy comments from dad and the relatives said the chicken shish was equally amazing! My score of 4 reflects the overall experience not the excellent food! Service was ok but not exceptional, the waitress couldn’t deal with anything not listed on the drinks menu (shandy which took a great amount of explanation and culminated in having to order 2 drinks to make 1) and despite serving scotch - they didn’t have ginger ale. No one checked to see if our food was ok when we had received it. she was personable - just a little confused. Would I go back? Yes - In a heartbeat and I was secretly glad the other restaurant was full!! Rack up the service and you get a 5

ordered a burger and chips from their website, the burger looked great on there, when it arrives however, its literally just bread and meat, no sauce or anything. the chips are sad and chewy. the kebabs dont come premade either, you have to put them together yourself. definitely avoid this place.

The waitress asked if we wanted the starters served together with the main course. We said definitely not as that is the whole idea of ordering a starter first before a main course. She then came with the starter and as soon as we took a bite she arrived with the main courses. We asked her to take these away. Of course they then arrived luke warm and we asked one to be warmed up. It still came back cold. £50 is expensive for two kebabs and starters and then awful service ruined our meal as why would any restaurant cook someone's starters and mains at the same time and try to then serve them all once? Your main course is then naturally going to be cold

Food was fantastic. Crispy calamari, juicy, tender tasty meats and the delicious bread. We were served by the most kind and attentive waiter who took so much care of us as we were fasting and was so thoughtful and above to look after us and make sure we were okay. Thank you to the team and we will be back :)

Great food, tasty, NOT overly spiced like some place I've been to that use hot spice to cover poor quality ingredients, I had the meat moussaka and it was very home cooked tasting, perfectly seasoned, the bulgar wheat and rice was beautifully soft and tasty (a touch oily) but delicious. With GOOD portion sizes (for the average person, if you're a porker then can't speak for you) not stingy like some places! The bread served with the meal was crispy and soft on the inside really nice with the two sauces it was served with, the salad was tangy and wonderfully seasoned. Some serious sour dressing at the bottom oosh lovely ! The staff were friendly and one particular waitress was wonderfully accommodating, polite and I felt she excelled at her role, I didn't feel she was being fake 'nice'. Environment was clean well.laid out and nicely separated from the smokey BBQ kitchen area where the delicious food was cooked. Clean toilet! No smell, no piss on the floor, very good! Will visit again. Saturday evening 6PM March 9th 2024.

Absolutely shocking, have visitors this evening, ordered a meal from here. Waited over an hour and when the food arrived it was stone cold, was told I couldn’t have my money back as the boss is away. Finally told I can have my money back and have no food for my guest, shocking, will never use this place again. Customer service is appalling. Thank you to the owner for your reply, I’m so upset and embarrassed, I have guest over and we have nothing, not even a good will from your business, it’s shocking!

Very nice Lamb Shish takeaway. Perfectly cooked & seasoned and significantly cheaper than anywhere else on the High Road.

Ate in and thought the food and service was brilliant. Got the mixed grill but swapped adana for extra chicken. Chicken and lamb was juicy and tender. Bread, warm and fluffy. Cracking value for a mountain of food.

Food was impeccable I went there the other night and the customer service was top tier and the vibe of the restaurant was immaculate . I would would definitely recommend to go there. 10/10

Bad service, food not very tasty.

I am a local to Loughton and I will never put my foot in this place again. The gentleman with the white suit who served me was plain rude and, having already paid upfront for my meal to another member of staff, after finishing, he then followed me into the high street accusing me of not paying! I never felt more embarrassed in my life! AVOID!!!!

Very bad service!!! I’ve been served in a take away box and plastic fork. I ordered chicken doner and I received chicken with chips no salad no nothing… and full with oil!!!

Worse kebab in town. Disgusting

This place delivers Belly ache and salmonella in a box ! I ordered a doner kebab which is 15£ and got the lowest quality doner you could possibly imagine.. no joke On the top of that, the food by itself was like they dropped the doner in a bucket of oil.

Had a burger and chips, all tasty very cheap and basic. Very expensive for what it was. Delivery took over an hour for us to be told online system was down and it would be done now. When we got the food around 20 minutes later there was nothing as a way of 'sorry' just warm, not hot food.

Small small small. Kebab was tiny, and a large chips came in a container only slightly bigger than a burger. I thought it was a mistake, so called them up, but yup, the guy on the phone said a large chips is enough for one adult. We normally go to Expresss BBQ but they were shut today unfortunately. Wonder if the owner agrees with this ?

I've complained to just eat absolutely wasted money on what tasted like a microwave burger and frozen chips shoved in fryer don't know how you get away with it especially in these times

Paid £14.20 for two kids meals chicken burger illustration should be a tiny frozen steak burger and not show a chicken breast thats fried in breadcrumb won't be using again

Had a lovely dinner with my wife at Loughton BBQ. The food was delicious, came quickly a day the service was great. Ask for their home made chilli sauce if you like you food with a kick. Highly recommended!

I want a lover of this place But they have to there credit upped there game lovely soft melty meat and I can honestly say my fave takeaway now if they keep the same quality of meat and service they will flourish

Best Turkish in Loughton/Debden. Good spot on and what I've come to expect from a good Turkish having a Turkish wife lol. These photos are only the meat and rice but there is also a delicious salad and bread that came with the food.

I must say the quality of food is always good but unfortunately there’s always something wrong with order, I stopped ordering chicken wrap as I always got yogurt instead of mayo so today I ordered chicken shish x2 and they forgot both salads. Chicken, rice and pitta makes a boring kebab

Just had a great evening at Loughton bbq ,We had a Turkish folk music event where the chartists were amazing,great people great food and great service,Would recommend everyone in and around Loughton to pay a visit to this great establishment.

I order here regularly but tonight it wasn’t good pita bread tasted stale and lamb Shish wasn’t right but I will order again we are all entitled to a bad night

The Chicken Doner was just about warm and very very greasy with orange looking grease/juice running through it. Also the chicken nuggets were tasteless and seemed poor quality. I have had better here and a shame this was very poor compared to usual.

Chicken was good quality, rice also good. Pitta was warm, but I always prefer if restaurants do Turkish bread instead. Delivery was 15mins early, normally might be a good thing but was actually really inconvenient so had to keep food in oven to keep it warm

We went to get a takeaway from here last week. The food is good (hence 3*), but I wasn't impressed by the guy serving. He stated the amount and asked us to "pay by cash please as lots of people have paid by card today" it's clear they want to avoid paying tax or something. I wasn't very impressed!

The food is great but it was delivered late which made the food cold and the driver never apologised just passed it to me and went.

Have ordered before and it was lovely this time sadly wasn’t has great chips were luke warm has was chicken doner kebab not sure where we was on delivery list but from the time it said it was out on delivery to arrival it was over 35 mins sorry that’s not good enough this time

Food was bang average and it took ages to prepare. The service was terrible. They forgot my order after waiting for thirty minutes . I called them up and wouldn’t even deliver the food they forgot in the first place. Waste of money.

Pre ordered the meal for delivery at 7:30 called restaurant 8pm and I got told “we’re kind of busy” the delivery drivers has just left but on the website it has been out for delivery since 7:15. Disgusting customer service.

Without a doubt the best kebab shop locally. And with things like fresh calamari and grilled halloumi. They also have home made taramasalata and houmous that is great.

Never before had a chicken shish wrap with nothing inside it other than chicken, no veg, no sauce = dissatisfied. Chicken wasn’t good quality either, had to spit half of it out as too rubbery.

Really nice food, but the pitta bread could be home made.

Not sure if you have changed your chef or the quality of your ingredients but unfortunately we did not enjoy our food at all and a lot of it went in the bin

Never again.. We ordered 1 lrg chicken doner and 1 lrg lamb doner as takeaway. When we arrived to home, I've seen that lots of bulgur was in the plates and just a little bit doner :)) Btw, we asked for pita if they give with doner or we get it extra. They told us that they are giving with it, what they gave us is only 2 pita bread for 2 lrg doner meal!! So, I suggest you to check your order before leaving the restaurant.

Charged a delivery fee despite stating free delivery when spending £20. Pita was cold. Chips were cold and terrible, salad was tepid and the meat was tasteless.

Visited with wife and 5yr old son on an early Saturday evening, place was basically empty. Friendly staff and clean looking place made the visit pleasant. Waiters were very patient with my son who was curious and kept going away from table. Went for hot meze platter for 2, which was missing something, wife said some salad would have been nice. Then we went for the shared platter for 2, all tasted good and portion size was good for the price (we took leftovers home). Missing on the 5th star for me purely because while staff, place and food were very nice I had better.

The food was amazing! Our local was closed and haven't had food from here for years. Will definitely be ordering again. The driver navigated his way round all the closed roads and food was still hot. 😋

This was our first time ordering from here. We selected falafel as a main dish, along with a salad and a couple of sides. The meal was delicious and very filling. However I was disappointed with the main dish. There were 6 pieces of falafel, some hummus, and 3 pittas. Without the salad and sides, I would have been very disappointed. When I order falafel as a main meal elsewhere, it generally comes with salad, and often rice/couscous as well.
