Great food and excellent service were provided. Definitely would recommend this place.

The Smoker was a nice pub restaurant.Very sadly the thatched roof caught fire on the early evening of Wednesday 23rd October 2024,so will be closed for the foreseeable future I would think. This was reported on local news..it is Very sad.such a lovely atmosphere when I visited a good few years ago.

What a wonderful day! The guys serving us were friendly, attentive and the food was delicious. They even offered extra items for the table. Was celebrating a birthday and helped with lighting candles, and even gifted a slice of cake too! Would highly recommend!

We had great service and even better pizza on their Wednesday evening pizza specials night. We ordered the Special with goats cheese, bacon and chilli jam and East Dorset pizzas and both were delicious.

Very friendly staff! Wasn’t too busy when we went as it was at 3:30pm, but being open from 12-9:30 each day, it made it a good place for a late lunch or early dinner. Good food!! I had the halloumi salad and my dad had a bean burger. Recommend

My starter onion bhaji were burnt over done & tasted bitter. The mains came hadn’t even finished the starters! The lamb curry was terrible, sorry to say. Total waste of money. I will not be revisiting this restaurant again.

Sweet rooms and good value. Very comfortable. Comfortable beds. Nice touches like robes and slippers, a drink and pastry, and the essentials. Nice shower. This place is off the beaten track and quiet but the pub is a great local drinking place that brings in street food vans and does nice things like quiz nights. I enjoyed my stay. The tv could be a little bigger but other than that I like this place. I’ll definitely be back.

Came in for Lunch without booking. Daryl (our waiter) was very attentive and provided a great service. Food was incredible, arrived very quickly. We ordered the mini board, the brisket, Mac and cheese, and loaded potatoes. The ribs fell straight off the bone, brisket was moist and was divine. Overall the food was incredible, and to top it off the service was incredible. Will definitely be coming back. Big Thankyou to Daryl who made an incredible stay so much better, really made the stay something to remember.

Saw mice running around. Super unhygienic, slow service. Staff ignore you when required. Well over priced. I don’t recommend it at all.
