Nando's Finchley - High Road in Barnet

I had lunch there a few days ago. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member Jade, who immediately checked with us whether we knew how to order and if we had any questions about allergies. My son is severely allergic to nuts and it was very assuring to hear that they take this matter very seriously. Jade personally took our order and checked all ingredients with us. Thank you, branch North Finchley.

The food is delicious, and affordable. One of the staff; Berkan is so helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back here.

Nice, clean and not too busy most days

First at this particular Nando’s the service was really good by a young man named Tyrese. the food on the other hand not soo great the chicken was not hot part of the chicken was dry then other parts under cooked the drinks machine definitely needs to be cleaned or checked the drinks just about had fizz in the seating was ok overall I give this particular Nando’s branch a 2/10 for the food. Defo could do better

Food was ok, but the Mac n cheese was clearly sub par.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by a happy friendly staff member. Although it was slightly busy we were still offered an option of seating preferences and asked if we had dined before and if we were comfortable ordering or needed help. All allergy information checked straight away. Then when ordering it was so easy and clear. All staff were enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. The only thing I wish is that my server introduced herself so I could give her a the praise she deserves.

As a self-confessed Nando’s addict, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I ordered through Deliveroo and was shocked by how the food arrived. Not only was it stone cold, but the chicken was chewy, the garlic bread was burnt to a crisp, and the chips were extra soggy. I’m incredibly disappointed.

Everytime I order chicken from this nandos it’s ALWAYS burnt. I communicated this to the attendants and as opposed to fixing the issues, they started giving me an attitude. I physically went there just so this wouldn’t happen, yet it did. I’ve been to so many other Nandos outlets and my chicken is always so good. Stay away from Nandos Finchley high road - they are just gonna burn your chicken and drench it in too much sauce so you don’t notice. Terrible service. Terrible food.

Food is always fast to come out and tasty. I had the best customer service at this branch and it was by a staff named NAY. They ran out of salad that he wanted, he was very professional and apologised and offered us free dessert to compensate. He understands customer care and was very polite. Because of him and his approach, I am a very satisfied customer and will surely come back sooner than Later. If you ever get to see this review, thank you so much NAY for a great customer experience. We ordered loaded chips, and the chips were cold when they arrived, because of this we told the waitress and she offered to change the chips for a new ones with no inconvinience very nicely and very polite, lovely waitress.... Her name is Jane. Just because of her service, we had a great lunch. 👍 5 star service for her!!

I don’t think you can go with Nando’s ! They never disappoint alway spot on . The chicken is always tasty and cook well . Love the selection of sauces you can add your m chicken or fries . The staff working there were very nice and friendly. Definitely one of the go place. Looking forward to come back .

The manager gave my mom EXTRA HOT when my mom asked for medium. Backstory: my didn’t get her chicken wings when she asked to employee gave her “our chicken” IT’s was only 5 PIECES when asked, the manager claimed that “my mom did not order chicken wings” but she did, after that the manager gave my mum “what she ordered” but with the chicken wings EXTRA HOT. Giving someone extra hot could kill someone if not careful as the chemical reactions could make the air thinner not allowing air to breath THAT IS A HEALTH HAZARD the manager should be FIRED

Exactly what you'd expect from Nandos, good food at a fair price. I recommend the medium spice chicken butterfly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My drinking glass did come with a sticker on though (see photo), so I'm not sure how well it was washed. (Although the glass did look clean and I used it anyway.)

Why offer Click and Collect where you can set a collection time if we turn up and have to wait as it's being cooked. Confirmed our order walked away, never even bothered to give us an update, or to wait just left standing until we sat down.

We went to Nandos to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was delicious, and a nice family atmosphere. We will go again.

Every time we order takeaway something is missing! Most of the time they don’t put any sauce. Poor quality food. Sometimes chicken is not cooked properly and tastes like partially boiled . Thigh filet portion is shrinking each time!

Very nice after a course delivered not far from there

This branch of nandos has always been my "go to" for take-aways in general. Really good food, cooked and served by great people. A wonderful service all round. Very considerate to those dining in and those just passing through. A shout out to Nic has been serving me, who came in on his day off to help out too. Will upload some photos later. The food was too good: I couldn't wait to take a picture 🤪

The best one to visit if your in the area , not to busy or crowded .

Such a great nandos, is now my go to one in the area. Lovely and very friendly staff. Extremely attentive and always double checkd if we were happy with our food. Honestly I was taken away by how nice and great the service was here! I came with my mom and treated her to dinner after a long day, she was soo happy in the end and the fantastic service obviously made our dinner even better. Food was amazing too. One of the best Nando’s we’ve been to for a long while! We are in and the food was fresh and very tasty. Some nice new additions to the menu. We enjoyed the sweet potato fries, chicken thighs and the chicken liver with the spiced rice, mash and peas as sides. Service was really thoughtful and very welcoming. The interiors and atmosphere is lovely with nice art which is refreshing to the general N. Finchley landscape. The toilets were very clean and they had clean and tidy baby changing facilities which seems to be a rarity in the restaurants on that high street!

My son has allergies and the manager took the order for allergies and served the wrong dish with allergens. When complained about the service, staff's reply was I didn't take the order and someone else took the order.

You must be very very patient if you order in restaurant. Waiting time is too long. Terrible!!!

Don’t waste your time here .. With only around 20 people in the restaurant it took over 40 minutes for us to get the food. The food in other locations have never taken over 15 minutes to come, this is just unacceptable.

There was a mix up with my order but the manager was so lovely, let me keep the misplaced order and remade all of the food, both her and the person who was responsible for the error apologised. Mistakes happen and they genuinely couldn't have been nicer in trying to correct it, usually an error like this can ruin your night but it definitely didn't with how they handled it!

I am a simple driver and the behavior of staff who hand over the food here is awful. They behave like we are slave. As far as I know most driver do not like the team there and I am wondering if there is any control on their behavior. I am dad of two children and whenever I go there, I embarrassed of myself. I want to call to main branch or I hope anyone could investigate.

Its pretty small. But a good enough space to grab a quick bite.

The manager is very rude and stupid I asked her very very too politely to change my pitta bread and toast it. She just started to chat nonesense. I prefer it toasted, i get a stomachache when it is not toasted. She sighed and grabbed my plate in rude manner and gave me another pitta bread (not cut) which was less toasted than the previous one 🙂 Make her leave.

Decided to visit this Nando’s branch on Friday evening, served a vegetarian dish on a meat stained plate, decided to take to the counter to speak to the manager who couldn’t care less & told the staff member I was speaking to to just refund the customer without a apology! Like this makes it better… Well trained manager in customer service! May I suggest Nando’s to retrain this muppet.

We ordered food at 9.30pm. When delivered, we had bad experience to find out portions of rice (medium size) were ridiculously small. Even not half of the tiny boxes We were so disappointed! It's so disrespectful! I couldn't even call to complain, restaurant closed at 10pm

It's been few years since I visited Nandos in the UK. The food this visit was terrible at best. The whole chicken was tasteless and the chicken livers were dry. The mixed nuts were chewy instead of being dry. The only good plate was mac and cheese.

Our dinner was ruined completely, asked for well done chicken but what was given to us tasted like nothing but raw chicken, disgusting.

Always a pleasure to visit this branch! Not crowded, easy to find a table and food is great. The staff could benefit from being a bit more friendly and smiling though. We tried ordering through Deliveroo a couple of weeks ago and everything went smoothly as well! Would definitely recommend ☺️

I have 10 chicken wings and he has a salad with chicken. We go regularly after the weekly shop. Yum. Oh, and the tinned wine is actually good! Great value for very tasty food, and children love it. The manager is a joy to watch and deserves a bigger job.

I always have the best experience in this Nando's. Its what you would expect for Nando's anywhere however the staff are super friendly and always always always go the extra mile to accommodate us in any way they can. Thank you to all the staff here for your kindness and hospitality. The food becomes worth the price mainly because the experience the staff create here.

The unsung heroes when it comes to precise and speedy service are the immigration workers that appear in the tv show Border Patrol and Nothing to Declare. With a help of clever editing and a narrator, they make it seem like they can catch Dora the Explorer before she goes on her adventure. This Nando’s is like that, they got our order right and cooked everything properly. Although the food was a bit cold when it arrived, the Nando’s staff are as hasty as the Australian immigration smelling dried fish from a luggage.

Terrible service, got our order wrong twice because the staff did not listen and was too interested talking to each other!! The food was cold and left on the side for longer than 30 mins when they said it will be 10/15 minutes wait. The manager spoken to my bf to resolve this situation and said he will send vouchers the next day but didn't until my boyfriend chased it up. We are regular customers but now decided to not go to North finchley's Nandos because this ruined our whole experience with poor customer service. Nandos, your staff need better training and to LISTEN clearly!!

I’ve been coming here for a couple of weekends now and the chicken livers have not been available. Either that or for some reason they’re refusing to cook it. Honestly just take it off the menu or have it availble.

I saw Nando when I arrived in town this morning. I decided to go up a level and try hot. Hot was great and I think I will try extra hot next time. The only weird thing that happened today was trying to order and get my drink. The host was a little pushy but I was able to fight through and order at the counter

Ordered via Deliveroo, food came within 30 mins Genuinely appalling state of affairs. We ordered chicken thighs and the sunset burger, the chicken was extremely dry – drier than breast piece. It genuinely tasted stale like the food was two days old. The burger bun was extremely hard and dry. Think of a scone that has been left open in a windowsill for two days. Yes that is how bad this experience was. Not what I was expecting from Nando’s after paying nearly £23 for just two items.

It's a nandos so you know what you're getting..glad we ate in rather then getting it delivered. The food was cooked well and the staff are really nice and attentive.

£4.50 for small chips is extortionate! But then they only fill the box by half, that's an absolute rip off! Never again will I order from here.

Had such a lovely time! Our server was amazing, friendly and very warm!!! I would go back just for him as he really sorted us out. Food was good but I wouldn't order the 2 breasts but would try something else next time.

Great comfort food as ever. The food took a little bit of time to serve this time but we arrived at around 6.00pm a few Wednesdays ago which would probably have been the busiest part of this day.

We came into this Nandos restaurant and we were met with a big smile which is very important to me because I went there with 2 young people with disability. Thank you for fixing your frozen yogurt machine quickly.

Ordered at 6.20 , had to ring them directly at 8pm as order not received. Couldn't find us on the system. On hold not able to get through to Deliveroo for 15 minutes either. Terrible.

Other people who ordered after us got their food way before we did. Please fix your service Nandos. I think Nandos North Finchley may have changed their management team & staff because I just enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was a busy early evening service. All my orders came with no problems or in need of apologies. The staff were excellent with their professionalism throughout my visit. Congratulations.

Came in with my family for dinner. Sat quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. However it took a very long time to come out and we could see it sat waiting. The kitchen staff actually had to bring us our food before it got cold! One girl (whose name begins w an A but I can’t remember) was just so lovely running between the kitchen and our table. All the while three management members were stood at the front, one on their phone! Amazing food, good service from some members of the team. Just wish it didn’t fall upon individuals to keep the restaurant going
