Nando's Finchley - High Road in Barnet

Absolutely the best Nando’s in north London if not all of London. I’ve gone to so many Nando’s and this branch is the best! The staff are simply excellent! So attentive and caring about every little detail from the quality of food, service even to the force of the air conditioning! I recently went and forgot to order a portion of Peru chips on the app but thought I did. I questioned where my chips were, they brought them over & told me I hadn’t ordered. After finishing my meal I went up to the till and tried to pay for the chips and the lady at the till wouldn’t accept as it was a honest mistake on my part. Truly the best Nando’s around!

I am a simple driver and the behavior of staff who hand over the food here is awful. They behave like we are slave. As far as I know most driver do not like the team there and I am wondering if there is any control on their behavior. I am dad of two children and whenever I go there, I embarrassed of myself. I want to call to main branch or I hope anyone could investigate.

Its pretty small. But a good enough space to grab a quick bite.

The manager is very rude and stupid I asked her very very too politely to change my pitta bread and toast it. She just started to chat nonesense. I prefer it toasted, i get a stomachache when it is not toasted. She sighed and grabbed my plate in rude manner and gave me another pitta bread (not cut) which was less toasted than the previous one 🙂 Make her leave.

Decided to visit this Nando’s branch on Friday evening, served a vegetarian dish on a meat stained plate, decided to take to the counter to speak to the manager who couldn’t care less & told the staff member I was speaking to to just refund the customer without a apology! Like this makes it better… Well trained manager in customer service! May I suggest Nando’s to retrain this muppet.

We ordered food at 9.30pm. When delivered, we had bad experience to find out portions of rice (medium size) were ridiculously small. Even not half of the tiny boxes We were so disappointed! It's so disrespectful! I couldn't even call to complain, restaurant closed at 10pm

Food is decent, nice atmosphere, good for a quick one. The recent decision to add mac and cheese to the menu is genius!

It's been few years since I visited Nandos in the UK. The food this visit was terrible at best. The whole chicken was tasteless and the chicken livers were dry. The mixed nuts were chewy instead of being dry. The only good plate was mac and cheese.

Our dinner was ruined completely, asked for well done chicken but what was given to us tasted like nothing but raw chicken, disgusting.

Always a pleasure to visit this branch! Not crowded, easy to find a table and food is great. The staff could benefit from being a bit more friendly and smiling though. We tried ordering through Deliveroo a couple of weeks ago and everything went smoothly as well! Would definitely recommend ☺️

I have 10 chicken wings and he has a salad with chicken. We go regularly after the weekly shop. Yum. Oh, and the tinned wine is actually good! Great value for very tasty food, and children love it. The manager is a joy to watch and deserves a bigger job.

I always have the best experience in this Nando's. Its what you would expect for Nando's anywhere however the staff are super friendly and always always always go the extra mile to accommodate us in any way they can. Thank you to all the staff here for your kindness and hospitality. The food becomes worth the price mainly because the experience the staff create here.

The unsung heroes when it comes to precise and speedy service are the immigration workers that appear in the tv show Border Patrol and Nothing to Declare. With a help of clever editing and a narrator, they make it seem like they can catch Dora the Explorer before she goes on her adventure. This Nando’s is like that, they got our order right and cooked everything properly. Although the food was a bit cold when it arrived, the Nando’s staff are as hasty as the Australian immigration smelling dried fish from a luggage.

Terrible service, got our order wrong twice because the staff did not listen and was too interested talking to each other!! The food was cold and left on the side for longer than 30 mins when they said it will be 10/15 minutes wait. The manager spoken to my bf to resolve this situation and said he will send vouchers the next day but didn't until my boyfriend chased it up. We are regular customers but now decided to not go to North finchley's Nandos because this ruined our whole experience with poor customer service. Nandos, your staff need better training and to LISTEN clearly!!

I’ve been coming here for a couple of weekends now and the chicken livers have not been available. Either that or for some reason they’re refusing to cook it. Honestly just take it off the menu or have it availble.

My daughter celebrated her birthday there ! Two family platters was more than enough for about 15 people , the kids had fun and staff was very helpful 😁 great value for money

I saw Nando when I arrived in town this morning. I decided to go up a level and try hot. Hot was great and I think I will try extra hot next time. The only weird thing that happened today was trying to order and get my drink. The host was a little pushy but I was able to fight through and order at the counter

Ordered via Deliveroo, food came within 30 mins Genuinely appalling state of affairs. We ordered chicken thighs and the sunset burger, the chicken was extremely dry – drier than breast piece. It genuinely tasted stale like the food was two days old. The burger bun was extremely hard and dry. Think of a scone that has been left open in a windowsill for two days. Yes that is how bad this experience was. Not what I was expecting from Nando’s after paying nearly £23 for just two items.

It's a nandos so you know what you're getting..glad we ate in rather then getting it delivered. The food was cooked well and the staff are really nice and attentive.

£4.50 for small chips is extortionate! But then they only fill the box by half, that's an absolute rip off! Never again will I order from here.

Had such a lovely time! Our server was amazing, friendly and very warm!!! I would go back just for him as he really sorted us out. Food was good but I wouldn't order the 2 breasts but would try something else next time.

Great comfort food as ever. The food took a little bit of time to serve this time but we arrived at around 6.00pm a few Wednesdays ago which would probably have been the busiest part of this day.

We came into this Nandos restaurant and we were met with a big smile which is very important to me because I went there with 2 young people with disability. Thank you for fixing your frozen yogurt machine quickly.

Amazing experience from start to finish , was greeted by Sienna at the till, she was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with our order. The staff preparing also acknowledged us with a smile. What a great team, the food was brilliant and tasted amazing , will definitely be back again.

Ordered at 6.20 , had to ring them directly at 8pm as order not received. Couldn't find us on the system. On hold not able to get through to Deliveroo for 15 minutes either. Terrible.

Ordered our food for take away and they made us wait over 40 minutes even though they said “15”. Honestly worse experience from a Nandos and we had to remind them to get our food. What nonsense. Other people who ordered after us got their food way before we did. Please fix your service Nandos. Our food was waiting on the side for 10+ minutes before someone decided they were free enough to care. Won’t be coming back.

A good Nando's with lovely staff for Saturday lunch. Chicken was usual good standard ......went back again today. Quality still good but staff seemed very busy

I think Nandos North Finchley may have changed their management team & staff because I just enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was a busy early evening service. All my orders came with no problems or in need of apologies. The staff were excellent with their professionalism throughout my visit. Congratulations.

I’m a Nando’s addict and this is by far the worst Nando’s I’ve had. Ordered through Deliveroo and shocked to see how the food arrived. Not only was it stone cold but the chicken was chewy, Garlic bread was cremated and chips were extra soggy. Very disappointed 👎🏼

Came in with my family for dinner. Sat quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. However it took a very long time to come out and we could see it sat waiting. The kitchen staff actually had to bring us our food before it got cold! One girl (whose name begins w an A but I can’t remember) was just so lovely running between the kitchen and our table. All the while three management members were stood at the front, one on their phone! Amazing food, good service from some members of the team. Just wish it didn’t fall upon individuals to keep the restaurant going

Actually great. Staff are very courteous. Seating is always instant and they are quite flexible in dealing with request/ alterations.

We wanted to take take-away but last minute we decided to eat there. Quick service and very smiling staff. The 2 burgers that we got were really good. I can’t wait to come back.

What can anyone say about nandos that is negative? Really good food..service as always..only thing was there was no water machine..so jugs of warm tap water was the jnky option.. I don't drink fizzy drinks..so not just being a cheapo..I genuinely dont drink fizzy!

A wonderful experience. My family and I enjoyed a tasty and leisurely lunch topped off by a frozen mango yogurt which should not be missed. AJ on the phone was so professional which encouraged me to book a table and the Supervisor, Lila was brilliant and showed that she cared about us as customers as she patiently explained the menu to us and very importantly said an ingredient was not available and suggested another one which worked really well.

The best Nando’s we have been to. Service was great and quick. We had an issue with our order and the way Melina solved this made us very happy. She is superstar for sure. Thank you. Now, this is our go-to place for peri-peri.

Staying in the area and this place was busy unlike other restaurants nearby which normally is a good thing. Ordered on the app...great service but found the food pretty bland. Sweet potato fries were tasty though.

I had a bean burger and salad sadly the bun was not the freshest but the rest of the meal and never ending soft drink was good value . The service was slow to an extent because of the number of staff on duty . Overall 7/10 for me

We ordered a takeaway from Nando's North Finchley for a total of £65 to be delivered by Deliveroo. When it arrived there were 5 items missing, - 2 x coleslaw, 2 sauces - and 1 bottle of cider (even though the Deliveroo driver asked for proof of age} Phoned Nando's to complain - and their attitude was indifferent and unconcerned about the lack of service - however they did offer to refund the cost of the missing items. I have no idea where these missing items are - whether the Deliveroo driver kept them or whether the staff in Nando's didn't bother to pack them - but this is just a shocking example of unbelievably sloppy customer service. Be warned !!

On this occasion not a great experience ☹ Hair in food, dirty glass, dirty knives and seating area wasn't as clean as one would expect. I had the chicken thighs but these too had a strange hard texture. They also looked different as they were heavily coated in what I assume was medium strength peri peri sauce. I thought the chicken was marinated at Nando's? 🤔 All issues dealt with professionally and courteously....but these are issues that simply shouldn't happen hence the low score for this particular visit. Remember, this is my own subjective experience. Hope this feedback helps and hope this branch improve their standards very soon. Happy Eating 👍🏽🙂

I've been here a few times over the last year and has become my favourite in the area. Nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and most of all good food. I prefer now coming to this Nandos over the Finchley Lido for those reasons.

A good variety of vegetarian options available. Staff is friendly. Food was served quickly and restaurant was clean and very warm

As always this branch of Nandos had no waiting for tables on a weekend evening, which is rare to find, this is mainly due to its location being on a high street with another branch only 5mins drive away which is a lot larger with loads of free parking. I find as this one is a lot less busy then most the service and food is soo much better. One of the nandos iv been too.

Had the most delicious meal here for a family birthday staff went above and beyond to make it special very friendly and jade was an amazing host will be a regular visitor here Thankyou all for a lovely meal x

Ordered the halloumi mushroom pita and chips for delivery. There was no mushroom or sauce in the pita, the food arrived ice cold and large chips was a half portion. Always double check orders before sending them out. Did try calling to speak to a manager but no one seemed to answer.

I’ve been here about 20 times since it opened just before lockdown. Best Nando’s services I’ve experienced. Bigger portion sizes of chip than Finchley Lido. Patryk in particular is an asset to the team. Great personable skills and very helpful always. Thanks to the entire team, it’s easy to see the work culture is fun and everyone enjoys working there. ♥️

I visited Nandos for the first time ever on Finchley Road. The food and the service was amazing. Delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. I never eat desserts as I always feel disappointed as they are overly sweet. I was tempted by the carael cheesecake with cream. It was delicious and so enjoyed my meal, I wanted to leave a review and thank them. staff for their sevice. MANY MANY THANKS.
