Great atmosphere, absolutely love staff and food was out of this world! Their dessert of pineapple and marshmallow was so light after all the meat. Definitely would go again! Thank you for such a great experience ☺️

Came on Wednesday night with London friends. Have never experienced this before where they come round with all the meat skewers, such an amazing choice! And also an amazing buffet salad bar choice. Beautiful food and great service from lovely attentive & friendly staff. Will definitely be back

We went last night as a family of 4 for my sons’ 30th birthday. That man can eat at the best of times so i thought the “all you can eat” option would be a good call. We weren’t disappointed. Great food and lots of it. Sirloin, rump, spicy beef steak, minted lamb, sausages and chicken cooked to perfection. Finished off with the best barbecued pineapple and marshmallow. Would definitely recommend!

I've lived close by for years but never tried this restaurant before. I always thought it was purely a barbequed meat restaurant and I don't eat meat. I was invited by friends to dine there Mid May 2023 and I went expecting an average meal at best. I have to say, happily, my expectations were not met! I had a fabulous meal and most enjoyable time. The restaurant is light and airy and the chairs very comfortable. The plentyful staff were the most welcoming and attentive at any restaurant I have visited for some time. Every time I glanced at the bar, someone came over and asked me If I wanted anything. The way it worked was that we went to the salad bar to start our meal. There was a wonderful selection of different salads, all looking fresh and home made. They were all delicious from the Waldorf (memories of Faulty Towers) through to the green bean, cole slaw, cous cous, green salad and on and on. There was also hot rice, spaghetti, tomato sauce, and baked potato (not the jacket kind) and a large bowl of Chili con Carne. Our friends then had the barbequed meat selection upon which I can't comment but they enjoyed themselves. The waiters came around, again and again, each time with something different from the barbeque. I noticed Chicken Wings, Spiced fillet stake, sausages of various types, roast lamb, other steaks, never ending eaten with a cotinuous supply of salads from the bar. Being a non meat eater, I was offered either fresh salmon or sea bass for my main course. I chose the latter which came beautifully straight off the grill and had been made to look pretty. It was delicious, just like you might expect on Masterchef with that pure whiteness of colour you would expect from really fresh fish. Continuous bowls of chips arrived constantly too. The waiters then came round with hot, giant marshmallows and then hot barbequed pineapple which was 'to die for delicious'. Unfortunately my wife wasn't able to come with me on the night and I immediately decided that I will go back as soon as possible and take her to sample the marvellous food. Value for money is terrific and I just could not fault anything. Highly recommended (as you might guess)

The restaurant is on the main road, so is easy to find and park. One of our group was vegetarian, but this was no problem as a special plate of falafel and vegetable samosas was brought without asking. The food for the meat-eaters was superb and kept coming and coming until no more could be eaten. There was also a wide range of salads on offer (help yourself) and the wine was good and reasonably priced. The people working there were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. A first-class experience and well worth a visit for either a special occasion or a simple meal out.

The service is excellent from the minute you step through the door. Food plentiful and the bbq staff come round with amazing regularity. We found though that certain food items seemed slower- we were offered sausages once and garlic bread appeared once in the whole time we were there ( we weren't bothered by that, but either offer it or dont) Lovely touch with a free pud and wear of the special hat for birthday meal. This is a fun restaurant with great food and service and we'll definitely return

As always a great meal at El Vaquero. The service is so prompt and really good as is the food. Would highly recommend. We had a coeliac in the party who was given lots of clear guidance and given a full run through of what she could eat from the manager. Fantastic. Especially our waitress.

We were a party of 8 meat-lovers celebrating a birthday. The service was friendly even prior to our arrival (they called a day in advance to check if anyone wanted to pre-order their alternative fish menu). The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, and the service by the large team of waiters was attentive without being over-bearing. The meat just kept coming, and was of an outstanding quality for the price. The owner Tomer came to our table halfway through the meal to make sure we were happy. It's clear he runs a tight ship. We will definitely be back!

Evening was ruined a bit by the football being streamed on the internet and it kept stopping. food was ok but they advertised the football so wouldn’t have booked if we knew the situation. £40 a head, So not sure I would return

I went on Friday night for the second time after discovering this restaurant a few months ago. The food and service were excellent. Great quality and good value for money. After our first trip we had learned to take it slowly because otherwise you’ll fill up in 15 minutes! Personally the steak is my favourite - particularly the garlic fillet. Cooked perfectly to our taste too.

Been several times, it's a friendly, fast paced dining style with lots of options and polite staff. I would reccomend sitting inside, it's not a flashy restaurant but the cocktails menu is great and the food is well prepared in large quantities

We went to celebrate my son's 19th birthday yesterday, having read previous reviews but being nervous not having been there before and spending a decent amount of money. The meat was really lovely and hot, perfectly cooked. They kept coming round with different meats. The salad bar was also lovely. At the end they asked if there was any more meat we'd like and soon after, they came with the beef and lamb we had asked for. The service was exceptional and the brought bottles of tap water when it run out, without even having to ask. Our bowl of fries was replaced with a fresh one during the meal so we had hot fries again. We mentioned to the waiter that it was my son's birthday and at the end of the meal they sang happy birthday and brought him a dessert which looked fabulous. The waiters were really friendly and we loved everything about our experience. The meal for 4 was not cheap but it was money well spent and a great birthday meal we will remember. We will be back!!

This place is just amazing. The meat is amazing. Salads etc are v pleasant but the succulent, tender meat is the selling point and it6fantastic. Service is great and you are very well looked-after. I have been several times, and to the Mill Hill branch and each time is a pleasure.OK, it's a guilty pleasure in an increasingly hostile world but at least one can boost one's iron & B12 levels with some joy and flavour.It's not the cheapest meal out (although there are offers) but this is an excellent example of 'you get what you pay for.'

Visited this restaurant after a very wet afternoon at the Saracens Rugby so was in need of a cosy environment with sustenance. We were not disappointed! Very welcoming, warm and friendly service and food that exceeded all expectations. The concept of ‘all you can eat’ slightly filled me with unease but actually made the whole dining experience pass very smoothly. No ordering, except for the very reasonably price bottle of red , a self service salad bar with a fantastic selection of unusual, vibrant and fresh salads that were superb, and continuous offerings of all types of barbecued chicken, lamb and beef - the wagu beef was divine! Dessert was limited to barbecued pineapple that had been marinated in cinnamon and honey (there was plain available too) and toasted giant marshmallows! I’m not usually a dessert person but the freshness of the pineapple was perfect after the meaty main! A final mention must go to all the staff who were all very informative and friendly especially Georgie who spent time chatting to us about the concept of the restaurant and the food! All in all would definitely recommend this restaurant.... and the station is close by! Thank you El Vaquero for a fabulous meal and a great end to our rugby outing

This place was great. We had buffet style starters and sides and then the staff come round with at least 20 different varieties of meat on skewers and carve off for you whatever you want- from steak to sausages to chops. It's all on offer. The grilled pineapple is a nice way to end the meal too.

Went out with my old friends including a certain Matt Lucas. Not sure if you’ve ever been out for dinner with a celebrity but it has the potential to be a bit annoying. Fortunately the restaurant was medium busy and no one really made a fuss. The food was outstanding and the new meats such as the ribeye and more lamb were welcome additions to the usual fare of steak, various chicken pieces, legs, wings and hearts etc. All perfectly cooked and served by nice staff. Our waitress was a little gem, very attentive and payed attention to allergy’s and general well-being. Everything was fresh and very tasty. It’s not overly expensive and the experience is worth it alone. The pineapple and marshmallow at the end was apparently very nice but I declined as I was still gorging on meat. Definitely got my money’s worth. For sure.

We booked on new years eve & it was as a result very busy with a short wait to get seated & a huddle of people at the door. Once we were sat the service was good and the salad bar was as usual well stocked with a wide choice of tempting items, even for me as a fussy salad person. Lovely aubergine as the highlight. We had the ALL YOU CAN EAT BARBEQUE MEAT & SALADS BUFFET - with this menu they keep walking round the restaurant with spits of many different kinds of meat. [There is a fish version you can pre-order & vegetarian is the salad bar but it's clearly best for meat lovers. Vegans need not think of going.] So don't go there having had much beforehand. They have plenty of tasty meats including leg of lamb, chicken, beef (in a variety of cuts) sausages and more unusual specialities such as chicken hearts. They bring delicious grilled pineapple to finish the meal which is included in the price but they do offer a range of desserts if by some strange reason you feel the need!Wine is of reasonable price and variety.

If I ever review places it’s to praise and help businesses that deserve it, if I have an issue I either deal with it there and then and or never go back. In this instance, my first time to this place, the food was what I expected and the service was what I expected that was until the bill came, I had estimated what it was in my head but it was a fair bit more than I had imagined - it happens sometimes - so I said after checking the items we’d ordered “Is this right?” I was told with great speed, “Oh yes” so I paid and left.On closer inspection of the bill when I got home, I saw a12.5% service charge had been added. This is my mistake but I felt my pocket had been picked and despite the SC being on the bill and it may well have had put on the website and menus that a SC would apply but it just don’t feel right. 12.5% of a lot of money is a lot of money.And I left a fiver on the table.

Ideal for all the family Its an Argentinian Meat place where they come to the table with skewers of different cuts of steak and lamb , sausages, chicken etc which they csrve at the table. Have been to this establishment before and booked a table and went again with my family of 8 to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We were warmly greeted and seen to quickly. The food was fabulous.. My sister is a vegetarian so we ordered her fish (choose bream, sea bass or salmon) a couple of days before our date. She loved her salmon saying it was cooked perfectly.

Have never been before but went with a friend and partner who had and who explained how it worked but still a little confused at first. The meal itself was a fixed price with a cold and hot starter buffet and sweet in the form of pineapple and marsh mellows. Drinks extra. The waiters then came in quick succession with a variety of cooked meats on skewers, steak, chicken, chops, sausages. The quality of the meat was excellent and you could have as much as you you could eat. I think I will be more selective next time. Overall enjoyed the meat but found the buffet not so good with limited choice, although tasty. My wife thought it was expensive for what it was but for a special occasion it would be a good choice. Service was very prompt and on the whole friendly.

I have not been to El Vaquero for quite some time. I took two of my sons there today. Every mouthful of food was delicious. The staff utterly charming and Tomer the owner was hard at work behind the grill.

So the concept is simple you help your self to delicious salad and rice and then sit back and enjoy while waiters come around with the best meat possible! All of which is halal and just seasoned to perfection! There such a selection of meat but the leg of lamb was unreal!! I would highly highly recommend for group bookings or for a bunch of lads as it’s more meat than you know what to do with

Me and my partner recently visited the restaurant with high hopes we were looking to go since we first started dating. The restaurant itself is lovely and we got parking outside pretty well. The waitress we had was nice but it was the quality of the meat I was most disappointed with I expected to be full of flavour and all the meat was just bland, some was well done some were medium it was never consistent. The only meat was nice was the paprika chicken and one of the steaks. They come round with different food but often you’ll have the same food approaching your table 3 or 4 times in a row and we were waiting for the rest. We got asked sausages once and chicken wings about 6 times very inconsistent. The salad bar was nice and the cocktails were lovely and a good price but over all I expected more from the restaurant. Staff we’re lovely so it’s not the customer service just how things were operating and cooked.

I am pescitarian so wanted fish instead of meat. Not a problem they cooked so much fish and more than we could eat. The meat is freshly cooked and the salad bar was always kept fresh.

I’ll start by saying that we have visited El Vaquero quite a few times over the years as it is one of our absolute favourite places to eat.

£25.95 per person plus drinks which are not large and not fresh juice. Huge range of different meats including chicken drumsticks, thighs, beef and lamb sausage, different cuts of beef including rump and cooked to perfection at what I would call medium-rare (they ask you how you would like it done first). Busy, bustling atmosphere not suitable for a quiet/romantic meal. A little red/green card on your table for when you want more or to stop them bringing it around. The meat is constantly coming when you want it and all servers are extremely on the ball and attentive. We went to get more salad half way through and our plates were cleared immediately. When my drink was empty I was offered another, when we finished we were asked if we needed anything more. There was a friendly chap who was maybe the owner/manager who was going around kindly greeting all his customers and asked us how we were liking it. All round excellent service and food. They bring you a little bowl of chips. Just salt on the table, no pepper, and ketchup. Highly recommended although we do feel drinks could be included in the price and of slightly better quality (the juice was squash-like, and not fresh).

We recently went to El Vaquero for a Sports Club Party and the whole evening was amazing. The food just kept on coming and was perfectly cooked. The service was top notch with someone always available to deal with your request. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and we will definately be going back probably with hungry Grandchildren

We are regulars at El Vaquero and this weekend we celebrated my fiancées 40th birthday and booked a table for 15 people. The service was amazing as always, couldn’t fault a thing, we took our own cake and balloons and they brought the cake out at perfect timing. Food continuously came out with a wide selection of meats, and the salad bar was fresh and amazing too. This was my 1st visit last night to this restaurant, The service is amazing and the food is even better. There is plenty to chose from the Buffet section with the wonderful salads and good choice of rice, pasta and plantain. However, what let it down is the so called evening manager who had no manners was so ever. I saw the way she spoke to some of the people that were helping with the event and I have to say it was outrageous. She was very abrupt in her approach and with an attitude like that she should not be working in a customer facing role. Her tone, her body language and overall disposition was that of a west end bouncer! I suggest the owner of this establishment has a serious word with her or remove her from this lovely venue permanently as I would never hold an event here while she is working there. Rules are rules but how messages are delivered is just as important.

El concepto de este restaurante es uno de los mejores cosas es, puede estar hambrientos y puedes empezar a comer tan pronto como te sientas subiendo hasta el excelente buffet de ensaladas. Tan pronto como regrese a la mesa, que es cuando la avalancha de carne de carne comienza. La carne de pollo en oferta varían de muslos y alas de pollo con sabor, a, cordero, uruguayo, carne argentina y brasileña, y luego el extremo de corazones de pollo.

Básicamente vas a un buffet y autoservicio para todo tipo de ensaladas y aliños, pero también pasta, arroz y salsa de tomate o carne. Llevar a la mesa y comienza la diversión! De repente, caliente fresco patatas fritas se materialicen. Entonces son sometidos a una corriente interminable de camareros con pinchos de cordero con cada corte de carne y pollo, que te puedas imaginar. Fenomenalmente tentador. Fue un largo camino para ir ya que vivo en el otro lado de Londres. Me alegro tanto de haberlo hecho, ya que fue una de las mejores comidas que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Nos dieron un plato de patatas fritas más deliciosos con nuestras copas y tuvimos que se abstengan de comer demasiadas ya que había un buffet de ensaladas y un buffet caliente para comenzar. Ambos eran excelentes. La carne en brochetas era de muy buena calidad y se servía como quisieras. Pensando que no podía comer más arriba llegó un piña caliente que era cortada en rodajas en la brocheta y le obsequiaremos con un asado servido. Deliciosa y luego a seguir un feliz cumpleaños para mi amigo del restaurante. El personal era muy agradable y servicial que toda la noche fue una delicia y no puedo esperar a volver.

Comimos aquí en un viernes por la noche en a9. 00:00h. Tendrás que reservar temprano en la semana para asegurarse de que obtiene el tiempo que te gustaría. Nos dieron la selección todo lo que puedas comer y fue estupendo. El personal es muy amable y servicial, la comida es muy sabrosa y hay un buffet para llenar el plato con patatas fritas, te trae, y la carne está siendo continuamente te traen toda la noche. También preguntar si quieres algo específico y que vendrá a ti con la que es muy agradable de ver. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar y es perfecto para grandes grupos de personas o incluso sólo dos de ustedes.

Wow. This was booked by family for Father’s Day. Went Sunday evening. What a feast. From the second we arrived, there was endless meats on skewers arriving that they carved off at your table. The meat was delicious. From rump stake to chicken to lamb. Lots of different marinades. All very tender. You can eat as much as you like. Then grilled pineapple and marshmallows for pudding. Those thing fixed price £25 per head plus any drinks. GO HUNGRY!
