and yet again, Yankees nail the burger, delicious. Great chips too and this time, I added a portion of garlic mushrooms, don't panic, I sleep alone, they were fabulous, got 4 left in the fridge to have today. Top marks.

best kebab in the bay wife loves it , she isn't hangry anymore after eating from here , unfortunately missed an item off the list but after phoning up they were more than happy to send it out ,

I've used Yankees for 20 years, always excellent and a great bunch of staff. Last night, after a few hours cooking and in agony, I gave uo on dinner, ordered a cheeseburger & chips. I can honestly say, years of burgers, this was best ever.

order was estimated to be delivered between 7:45-20:05 when we ordered at 6:45, ended up receiving it at half 8 and waited too long considering we live 15 minutes away

We ordered about early 9 o clock ish and hadn’t arrived till 20 past 11 and when it got here the food was cold said it had been delivered about 30 mins from when it actually arrived I would like a refund as for these bad service.

The guy couldn’t find the address had me walking around the estate looking for him.

100% the worst place I have ever ordered food from. Chips where freezing cold, halloumi fries where dripping in oil. I ordered a kebab with all the salad and received the meat with onion and cucumber…. Said they had tried to knock 3 times even tho we where watching the ring doorbell since we where notified about it being on the way. Pepperoni pizza had like 3 pieces of pepperoni on it. Forgot 2 of our drinks TWICE. Just really is not worth the money at all my 4 year old cook most definitely cook better

Delivery was a bit late, but once again the food was on point. Portions are generous and ours always arrive warm enough for a bit of steam to come off them. Obviously will order again as becoming a fave. Price is also very fair :)

Food was really late, it was all cold when it arrived and didn’t deliver the drink. I appreciate it’s a busy Saturday but we waited over 2 hours for it.

Haven’t ordered from yankies for a small while and I have to say well remembered guys .I forgot to order my sides I would normally get and was a little gutted after I placed my order. however very thoroughly of them they remembered me and added them to my order come, on what more can you ask food was amazing as always and just a big thank you

Charged me £18 for curly fries and curry sauce and 6 mozzarella dippers Looked on the website should be no more than £12. Guys in there are rude and clearly have some issues with maths

Food arrived late, and food was cold not enjoyable atall. This is usually not the case when we order from here, shame.

Ordered food at round 8:10pm for delivery, the delivery time we got was 9:15-9:30. Then around 9 I had a notification to say that my food had been delivered (which it hadn’t). So I gave it 10 minutes then I rang them, they said that he was going to ring the driver as the person on the phone said “he left ages ago”. Finally I received the food at 10pm but, the food was stone cold. I wouldn’t recommend getting delivery from this place!

We went into Yankees for late night snack, placed order, received order, went home, opened bag, did not get what we ordered. Tried to call, but no answer. Have been a customer of Yankees for many years, so was really disappointed not to receive what we ordered, disappointed we could not contact them either. Very unhappy 😞

Waited 2 hours for delivery. Had a phone call from the store apologising for delay and said driver left 10 minutes ago, from Paignton to Torquay. I was very understanding but over 1 hour later, food finally arrived, stone cold. Refund request was not even acknowledged. Instead, told the driver to tell me if I order again, I can have a discount. Safe to say, I won't be ordering again.

One of my go-to takeaways, fast delivery, quality food at fair prices. Couldn't recommend it more!

Very generous with their portions and the food is delicious! The vegetarian options are also very tasty and their selection of sauces are so good! The salad bar is always fresh with a selection of yummy pickles too! 😋

A little cold on delivery but that’s expected for the distance they had to travel. Overall food was alright, cheeseburger: a classic, can’t ever go wrong. Veggie burger was good quality and amount. One large chips was enough to feed 1 person

Food was, far from great. The chips were soft and warmed up, for sure. And the burger, also tasted warmed up with the onions tasting soggy and warmed up too. Its fast food, for a reason not warmed up wood. Will not recommend.

the portion size on the xtra large chicken kebab and chips was astonishing, barely anything there I hate to think what the regular portion is! chips in all meals were soggy, burgers were flat, and drinks was not sent with meals but we waited so long we couldn't be bothered to wait any longer so just ate it.. disappointing meal all round. better options out there.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered at 16:30 and was given no update or an apology and at 18:57 someone turned up with our food stone cold in which we refused to take the order! Appalling service. I would 100% avoid this place. Edit from the response. What you have said about not giving the driver a chance to apologise is untrue. I have a ring door bell which records every time someone comes to my door and I can happily prove a point that there was plenty of time to apologise but that was clearly not going to happens. Knowing I ordered before 17:00 I highly doubt you had 12 orders come in at one time. Amount other reviews, this place is known for slow deliveries. Appalling service. You should be apologising to the customer not making excuses.

ALMOST 3 hours for a delivery on a Tuesday night for the food to arrive stone cold. In which I refused and gave my reasons why. The delivery driver was not even apologetic. Not did the take away inform us of any delays nor apologies either. Looking at other reviews they are known being extremely late with orders! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We have lived in torquay for about 8 years now and have had many kebabs and burgers from many take aways, but have had kebabs from here for 3 times now and I can honestly say none can compare to the food from here. It is absolutely excellent. The best kebabs I have had in my 8 years living here. MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE STAFF.

Always order from here but they gave me a 9 inch pizza in a 12 inch box barely any chips with the cheesy chips and curry also had to walk out in the rain instead of the driver coming into the hotel. Love this place and always order but this was awful

Ordered a 12" got a 9". You get more chips in McDonalds happy meal. Tiny salad and tiny portion of chips. Update: After leaving this review. The takeaway phoned me the same night??!! And told me "to get my facts right innit" before leaving a review. I think the photo clearly shows the pizza isn't 12 inches.Perhaps they need to recheck how big an inch actually is...
