Yankees Takeaway in Torbay

Charged me £18 for curly fries and curry sauce and 6 mozzarella dippers Looked on the website should be no more than £12. Guys in there are rude and clearly have some issues with maths

My partner came in for food the onion rings are bland and no taste whatsoever definitely had better onion rings than them

One of my go-to takeaways, fast delivery, quality food at fair prices. Couldn't recommend it more!

Very generous with their portions and the food is delicious! The vegetarian options are also very tasty and their selection of sauces are so good! The salad bar is always fresh with a selection of yummy pickles too! 😋

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered at 16:30 and was given no update or an apology and at 18:57 someone turned up with our food stone cold in which we refused to take the order! Appalling service. I would 100% avoid this place. Edit from the response. What you have said about not giving the driver a chance to apologise is untrue. I have a ring door bell which records every time someone comes to my door and I can happily prove a point that there was plenty of time to apologise but that was clearly not going to happens. Knowing I ordered before 17:00 I highly doubt you had 12 orders come in at one time. Amount other reviews, this place is known for slow deliveries. Appalling service. You should be apologising to the customer not making excuses.

ALMOST 3 hours for a delivery on a Tuesday night for the food to arrive stone cold. In which I refused and gave my reasons why. The delivery driver was not even apologetic. Not did the take away inform us of any delays nor apologies either. Looking at other reviews they are known being extremely late with orders! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We have lived in torquay for about 8 years now and have had many kebabs and burgers from many take aways, but have had kebabs from here for 3 times now and I can honestly say none can compare to the food from here. It is absolutely excellent. The best kebabs I have had in my 8 years living here. MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE STAFF.

Ordered a 12" got a 9". You get more chips in McDonalds happy meal. Tiny salad and tiny portion of chips. Update: After leaving this review. The takeaway phoned me the same night??!! And told me "to get my facts right innit" before leaving a review. I think the photo clearly shows the pizza isn't 12 inches.Perhaps they need to recheck how big an inch actually is...

The missus had a kebab from here a few days ago...and i tried a little bit.. Very average food and not really worth the price.. She noticed the price had gone up a little.. Better kebab places in paignton to be honest... Just Average...

Came in tonight for an XL chicken tikka and chips the miss had a doner meat and chips… rather annoyed really with it all. I mean the food and service and price was perfect but why do they have to be Paignton we need you in Exeter I’ll be back.

AVOID - Ordered online, delivered the wrong food twice. Never received my items or a refund from them. Staff were swearing on the phone call. Terrible customer service, terrible experience.

Waited 2 hours for a food delivery. Wrong order delivered. Second delivery items missing!!. They take people's money. And don't deliver all the food. Please avoid!!

Half a portion of chips I asked for all salad and got half salad ordered a large kebab and ended up with a tweeny kebab for £17 the reviews I have just read, it will not be much longer before the staff will be working in the pound shop stacking shelves Ooooooh la la la ANOTHER FOOD SHOP BLACKLISTED......

Although from the outside doesn’t look the most welcoming and clean, the food is amazing I had the chicken tikka naan wrap it was scrummy !! Highly recommend!!

Food was nothing special but the staff has the most disgusting attitude to customers arrogant, rude, dismissive I was so shocked especially the guy who takes food orders awful went there after my night out to be spoken to like that! I won't be going there again they should be ashamed of themselves

Absolutely rank it was disgusting the salad was Ryan with flies on it and the food was making I opened up when I got in all my god I felt so sick I could even eat it if everything was also discoloured do not buy food from this place I rang up and then complain they didn't even offer no compensation not even a sorry nothing don't buy food

The menu has all the usual stuff you'd expect. Pizza, kebab, chips etc. The staff are so ridiculously rude and blunt. They honestly act as if your custom is simply not wanted. Managed to order a pizza in hopes that the food would at least be okay. Wow was I wrong. Spent my time waiting trying to get a smile from one of the staff but failing miserably. Pizza came. Hard as a plank, burnt, no tomato base, worse than an Iceland £1 pizza but 10x the price. Just see the pic. Avoid this place like the plague!!

I walked in and ordered a PLAIN BURGER (PLAIN) then he asks me if I would like salad I said no PLAIN nothing at all on it so I get home and my Mrs bites into it and there's cheese on it and she's lactose intolerant. No apology or nothing. Absolutely unacceptable so if my partner is ill will take it further

Just over a year ago this place forgot a few things off of my order. I called and asked for those items to be delivered they said I had to pay again for delivery, I said no as it wasn't my problem to which the owner absolutely lost his mind down the phone at me. Will never order from here again

Chips were like they were boiled. The beef burger was mush, like dog food. The curry was like rain water. Wont be using again

It was just ok here, we had chicken tikka kebabs not the greatest, salad was not the freshest and the coleslaw wasn't fresh. Either I wouldn't rush back here but paigton,s late night restaurants are almost non existent.

Ordered for 18.55, left on doorstep 40 minutes early so son came home and found it and had a warm meal, I came home half hour later so had a cold dinner and couldn't eat our meal together, WONT be using them again, maybe read instructions on orders or buy a bloody clock,USELESS

Had a kebab, it was bad. Had a pizza, it was awful. Last time I had cheesy chips and curry sauce thinking that was a safe bet... It wasn't. 3 chances on different occasions and still naff.

Really not good, expensive for a whole family, bad service and not worth the wait or money, half of the things we asked for we soon realised were forgotten as we got home and portion size from small to large had no difference.

Go here over Domino's!!! The pizza is delicious with lots of choice, £6 for a 12" too! Such better quality and value than Domino's or other chains. Also doing a great deal of 3 sides for £4 with a pizza. We had 2 large pizzas, wedges, chicken strips and popcorn chicken for £15

Hands down the worst pizza I've ever tasted in 40 years. Ham tasted like it had been soaked in bleach. Pepperoni pizza was a burnt red mess. Inedible. My dog wasn't even interested, not that I would have fed it to him. Do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague. Also when I left and said goodbye. Completely blanked. I'm so angry, I feel like opening a pizza shop next door just to see these rude ignoramious go out of business
