My new favourite place for lunch! Really good beer and really good food. Friendly staff, great relaxed atmosphere. Will be going again ASAP.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The staff were so kind when our daughter dropped her hot chocolate - they gave us another one for free and made sure it was cool enough for her to drink. Thank you. We loved the outdoor seating area. So cosy.

Max's Cabin is the place for a quick, efficient, delicious freshly cooked meal at anytime of the day they are opened. If you have to wait its only because of the popularity or such an amazing dining experience. The consistency is on point and the staff are hardworking, courteous and amazing . Well worth the stop to support this fantastic business. Go see for yourself . Buddy

Fantásticas bebidas y fantástico servicio en este impresionante bar. Perfecto para tomar algo después de un paseo por el parque. Acogedor, cómodo y dog friendly también; una joya escondida a la que volveré.

The only thing you need to be aware of when visiting Memory Lane Tea Room is that it is a cash only establishment. We hmmade a no hassle booking over the telephone for four adults and one infant. We received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Our drinks orders were taken and by the time we had chosen our meals they has been served to us at the table. A very good menu is available. Just when we thought " yes, I'll have that" something else just as appealing caught your eye, then something else, then something else. The food itself did not disappoint. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Everyone of us commented on how tasty the food was. Four adult mains and desserts with drinks and a child's tray £53.35. Far less than we expected. Worthy of another visit in the not too distant future.

Lovely pie and mash shop owned and served by great guy Tom who knows the area well and can give you a little history of the neighbouring streets! The main item is the minced beef pie but he also has a vegetarian pie for those not into minced beef. Tom will also recommend that you eat his pies and mash with a generous dashing of vinegar (he makes a vinegar spiced with chilli if you want some spice in your pie) and salt and pepper. We opted to go without the salt which suited our palate a tad more. Highly recommend if you like some pie and mash. Will be back!

The best Chinese meal I’ve had in ages, we got the set meal for two and it was all gorgeous, two portions of chicken and sweetcorn soup, prawn toasts, spring rolls, chicken wings and prawn crackers and there is a choice of any two mains with rice or chips, all that for £26 ! Amazing value and all cooked perfectly and piping hot. We had Fish and chips last week and that was also perfect, the fish was huge and proper chippy chips. The one negative is the gravy, it’s not a traditional chippy gravy and we didn’t like it, but everything else is Lush 😀
