Hidden away from the crowd is Dots cafe . The highlights are scones ,savoury and cream tea types and homemade cakes. Tomato and basil served with garnish and relish with tea or coffee costs only £6. We sat in the courtyard with ducks and hens pottering nearby but there are inside seats too. Will bring more friends in the future.

Very hidden away from all the busy places in the town have a look around the Craft Centre then stop & have a cream tea its a little gem of a place to stop in the spring & summer months great for the cyclist pit stop or for the walkers. Big improvements have been made to the outside seating areas i would visit again next Easter when it reopens. 9/10

If you're looking for a freshly made light lunch or a cream tea, then Dot's is your place in Clevedon. Although it's very small and you can't book, it is still worth trying your luck. There is always a warm welcome and the scone I had recently was definitely the best I've eaten in 2018 - it was light, flavoursome and just perfect (well worth the calories!). I was even tempted to have a second one but that would have been greedy...!

Wow! This is a great little find it’s located in the Clevedon Craft Centre which is a bonus because there are lovely little craft workshops to look around. We had sandwiches which were freshly made to order, absolutely delicious, fabulous garden area to eat where you can watch the antics of the free range hens nearby. Would highly recommend.

The girlfriend was fancying a cream tea so with a quick google search we came across this little gem. The weather was beautiful and the scones even better. Situated in a small farm courtyard it was so peaceful. Will be returning soon. Plenty of cream and jam to go around. The sandwiches looked yummy also.

Always a pleasure to have a cream tea here in a lovely rustic, rural setting. The scones are perfect. Large, light and fluffy. The portion of cream is very generous which I like. Nothing worse than only enough cream for one half of scone as in a lot of places. Dot's cakes all look great too and a good selection. On a nice day it's relaxing to sit outside near the gate to the duck pond area and watch the chickens and ducks roaming around. This time I went with a friend which was a first visit for her and she plans to return with her husband today!

We stayed in the Milking Parlour opposite and went twice to Dot's. The scones were light and fluffy and served with plenty of jam and clotted cream. Even has a take away service for those staying in the holiday cottages. Highly recommended especially the lemon and blueberry cake.

What a lovely place to have a cup of tea and to be spoil the for the choice of cakes. The prices are reasonable as well. Only open from April but then 6 days a week from 11 am. Dot is very welcoming. You need to know that apart from three tables the rest of the seating is outside in the yard so watch out for wet days. Well used by cyclists so you know it is good!

Living in a tourist area there are times ini summer when you just want a quality quite break. So off to Dot's we went and were not disapointed. Choice of both indoor or outside seats, we chose inside as there were a few wasps around in late August. The cream tea was excellent, with home made scones and free refills of tea.

I'm just sitting here reading it is 'Dottie's' 5th season, I've been driving past here for so long and am now finding out what I've missed. Such tranquility, watching the ducks and hens scratch around sat with a nice cup of tea and friends. The choice of cakes ( all home made ) leaves such a dilemma....what to choose ! ........The lemon and blueberry was absolutely delicious. The cream tea has homemade jam as well.I'll be back P.s it is not really a 'cafe' the title should be Dot's Traditional Tea Rooms , Dottie does make a small choice of flavoursome sandwiches as well.

I was out on my bike and was in need of some refreshment and this appeared at just the right moment. Clearly popular with walkers and a few cyclists too, so I stopped and was glad I did. Tables outside as well as inside, the cakes looked nice but thick cut bacon sarnie was just too tempting. It lived up to it's billing, it was the nicest bacon I can remember eating in many a year. Coffee even came with a mint! They were also happy to fill up my water bottle which is always welcome. If you're passing it's well worth a visit.

We booked into White Truffle on a whim; we were fed up of queuing on the M5 and decided to have some lunch. TA placed the White Truffle as the no.1 restaurant in Nailsea and so we decided to give it a go. The first thing to say is that despite the fact it was a last minute booking and the restaurant had almost finished lunch, they were more than happy to serve us. Plenty of places would have said 'no'. We received a warm welcome and loved the interior décor (we remember it from many years ago as a Chinese restaurant). Service was extremely friendly and then we got to the food... ...it's about as good as it gets as far as we were concerned. We did wonder whether the restaurant would be worthy of the rave reviews on TA and I can confirm that it is. We went for the slow roast pork, which was beautifully presented and so flavoursome. Puds were chocolate brownie and sticky toffee, both of which were fabulous. For the set lunch price, this restaurant is extremely good value. The only downside is that we live a long way. We used to live in Nailsea and joked that we may have to move back in order that the WT would be on our doorstep. I'm not entirely sure we were joking...

...looked at the menu this morning to get a breakfast, seems the menu has changed and the price has gone up (nearly double what they were). Was a nice option to have a nice reasonable priced vegetarian breakfast before. All previous experiences were great, reasonably priced, good quality food.
