The best restaurants serving Asian food in South Wales

The food was brilliant, really interesting menu options, definitely recommend the chef’s special!! The staff were really well informed on menu knowledge, able to let me know what dishes would suit my taste and also were able to cook some salmon dishes some more for me as I’m not the biggest fan of cured salmon & raw fish. Couldn’t fault it!

Been a few times - my Asian wife rates it very highly (she takes some pleasing with Asian food!). They do get a bit confused sometimes but always friendly and a mellow cafe vibe means it's no bother. Just simple furnishings and good Asian food. Worth it.

Can anyone go wrong with Wagamama? Not in my opinion. I visited on a Monday night flying solo. Exactly as I would expect from Wagamama. Fast, friendly service and great food. I went for the bang bang cauliflower starter followed by firecracker prawn 🍤 main. The firecracker prawn as the name suggests is very hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️ … exactly how I like it! Wagamama is a fav of mine. Consistent wherever you go. I’ll be back. 😎 *Update. Visited again March 2025. Chose the chilli squid for starter instead this time but same main. Once again the service was great and the food very tasty. In and out in less that an hour too. Perfect for what I wanted.

Great food from a very authentic family run restaurant at a reasonable price - definitely recommend sharing lots of plates! We also had wonderful service from the son Ivan who gave a great recommendation of the crispy chicken. We will definitely be back ☺️

Delicious, fresh sushi presented really nicely. Staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Ordered some pad Thai and received some sickeningly sweet god knows what.

My food was NOT delivered to me and I can't get through to the restaurant to get my money back

Did not receive drinks with delivery, then were given incorrect drinks on the second attempt. Wasn’t worth the hassle to ask again. Took about an hour. Suspect food was left on the side for some of that time.

Very friendly Food is fantastic

Amazing food. Me and my family always order lots of starters to share. The squid is definitely my favourite. The food is flavourful and delicious, all our food came with a side of vegetables! The staff are very friendly and service is super quick. My favourite restaurant ever!!

had missing items 3 weeks in a row with our take away and lady on the phone is very rude, rubbish customer service and never any delivery drivers to deliver the food, never get your food from here

the naan bread was burnt ,and the chicken tikka meat was hard ,don't usually have a problem though but not very nice this evening

Food is pretty good but nothing special. The staff are nice enough but there was a bit of a language barrier when i asked for recommendations. I asked for the spiciest dish they had, but the waiter thought it was a joke and brought me a very mild curry. The poppadoms were nice and naan very good. The atmosphere is not bad, but apparently they have no qualms about beggars coming in and asking for a few £ The bill did not include service charge, so we left a tip, but the waiter must have thought it was too modest since he asked for another 40p
