Silver Lounge in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Absolutely stunning food!! me and my partner loge the biriyani, Seriously recommend. Never had an issue with any order :)

Would highly recommend Silver Lounge!! Ordered Fish & Chips, which was delivered promptly and piping hot. Website was also easy to use and order from. The delivery driver Karen was also very friendly and cheery!

Silver lounge, the best takeaway in town. I went there for the first time, and I was greeted by the staff in such a friendly manner that I have never received before. I ordered a chicken burger and chicken tikka with Naan. The food was 10 out of 10, Taste ,quality, temperature was all spot on. I’m looking forward to going there again when i am in the area!

I had chips and a large donner kebab, with barbecue sauce, this time in the Silver Lounge. And it was delicious, as usual. The service was also friendly.

Me my Grandson and Brother called in for fish and chips and curry sauce we are all from Newcastle upon Tyne thought we would give the fish and chips a try Absolutely lovely thoughley enjoyed them Thank you Christine xx

Food was OK but very expensive for what they give,portion sizes were very small and didn't reflect the price,reading through other reviews it's obvious your ripping people off.

I've had kebabs from Silver Lounge for many years but it is no longer the best kebab in the Rhondda, if the meat was cut any thinner you would be able to see through it, the sauces have the consistency of milk (as if watered down), the tiny amount of salad wouldn't satisfy a starving rabbit, unlike numerous other kebab shops in the Rhondda. Even a large donner is so lightweight that you would be excused for wondering if there was anything in the bag ! To the owner I would say, you built up a great reputation in the past for truly outstanding kebabs, please please go back to how things used to be, even if it means adding £1 to the price, at least then I will not need to drive to Chippenham to get a decent & very satisfying kebab !

Absolutely shocking to think your up for a reward Just had my food almost everything is stone cold ! Kebab is absolutely dreadful a large kebab ? I probably got three strands of meat on it the tikka is full of fat almost sick !! I mean when you get the option of a topping why do you literally put a small amount on it I just don't understand it unless your using it the next day is beyond me and a splash of sauce seriously? Unless your going to pay massive amounts like xxl kebab or two loads of chips your going to be hungry so go further down the road o,yes or eefes and get yourself a better meal Sorry been coming here years but after tonight it's the last absolutely foul !

Food is arrived but it's literally feels like it's came from antarctica I put it in the microwave and eat it after gets hot you lost a customer silver shop.

Poor service didn't put any salad or sauce that i requested to be put on my kebab just a bad experience, not the first time this has happened here.

Went the other day and had a lovely experience, staff are friendly and store has a good atmosphere. The food was really nice I had a mixed kebab with all the salad and can’t complain. Good size portions.

Right, ordered they didn’t have what I wanted which is fine but ordered garlic sauce, it was Litro like breast milk in a pot Also had kebab and chips and also a chicken strips and chips chicken strips are like they’ve been rewarmed from 3 weeks ago I wouldn’t recommend, if you want a nice meal be better walking another 100 steps to o yes, I’m not fussy with food but that was the first, I got told it was nice but tried it for myself and blind me worst thing I’ve tasted it was like eating rusty exhaust not the nicest by far I don’t recommend any dishes unless it’s fizzy liquid

An hour later, cold food I requested bbq on kebab it came back (bbq relish, no advisement to say that there was gerkins,peppers and tomatoes in the sauce) chips not cooked. Rang the shop and the women wanted to charge me for another kebab nothing they could do because I wanted bbq sauce even though it didn’t say what was in the sauce. Hardly any sauce or meat in either of the kebabs (waste of money) Absolutely disgusting customer service first time trying the food and definitely the last! Really disappointed! Definitely wouldn’t recommend!!!

We have been having takeaways from here for over 20 years but I don't know what has changed there but the food is nowhere near the standard it was. The last twice food has been missing from our order and the quality is poor, we won't be ordering again which is a shame.

Little shy on the meat and there wasn't much sauce either but apparently from that the quality of the food is brilliant 👌 plz give more sauce thx

Very disappointed with tonight’s food that we ordered. Been here a couple of times recently and it’s been good! The food tonight arrived very cold. (Both chips and curry sauce). In addition, the Indian curry didn’t really have any flavour! Should be called Silver Freezer and not Silver Lounge.

By far the best lamb donner about. Chicken strips are incredible (not your standard frozen ones) burgers are good. Portion size small but just order a size or two bigger

The EXTRA LARGE donner kebab that cost near enough a tenner is about the size of a small from any other kebab shop nearby. Quality isn't any better, disappointed.

Takeaway when we got home we threw it away

Really scrumptious chicken, would definitely go again. Kids loved their kebabs with the spicy ceylon sauce (I don't know how they do it!). Already recommended to friends, family and neighbors and anyone else who asks!

First time I have been here and my last,£8 for a large mixed lamb and chicken kebab which was more like a medium by other places I have been.Very disappointed in this place.

Worst shop everytime I order items missing and if u call them back they send all greasy chicken not even proper chicken don't waste money here... No good 9th time missing item from food

Always loved the food from here.. haven’t had it for a while since moving out of the area, decided to drive up tonight and whilst understanding they are rushed off their feet I’ve received the wrong food but already gotten home when noticed, prices don’t match the amount of food you receive, prices have gone up whilst portions are extremely small 😱 hate to say but I’ll staying with my local in future 😕

Very tasty kebab, ordered for a scheduled delivery and it was bang on time. Ordered an XL but it was a large at best and was missing a sauce I had asked for but overall very good

Ordered an XL mix doner kebab, thankfully I didn't order a medium as mine wasnt much larger! Order was a couple of sauces short as well, however it was tasty and delivered to the exact time I had asked for. 5 star for taste and delivery just falling way short on portion size

I used to be a regular here eating meal number 9. The taste was good unfortunately it would give me terrible stomach cramps. I've didn't eat it for 3 months and the pains disappeared, I had a meal number 9 after that time and the bad pains returned the same night. I haven't eaten one in 6 months now and have not had the problems. I enjoyed the taste but one of the spices or something in the chicken caused me bad pain.

You can’t beat this place - honestly. They serve a huge variety of dishes: southern fried chicken, kebabs, burgers, curries and all are delicious. The Silver Lounge Special Kebab is my absolute favourite - plenty for 2 to share with a bag of chips - yum! Lots of meat in the biryani dishes, served with an amazing curry sauce - highly recommended!

By far the best Keebab I’ve had, haven’t been to every takeaway in the Rhondda but have tried most. Always very good when I’ve ordered delivery but it’s a very busy place so expect to wait an hour for it, they do tell you that when you order.

Silver lounge special is nice don't buy chicken from here always got blood inside. Deffinatly blood and not bruised bright red and not just a once off everytime ordered

Second time in a month no sauce taking the mick now rubbish kebab. What's the multi- coloured stuff in the meat? Don't bother phoning to complain because you will have a sarcastic response, not ordering again! DO NOT ORDER!

I have used Silver Lounge for years, never had a bad meal from there. Their portions are really good, one portion is enough for two meals for me. Their vindaloo is a good hot one with plenty of chicken. Would highly recommend

These are by far the best kebabs in the area so we thought we’d try the curry from their Indian menu - absolutely vile, Non salvageable, went straight in the bin!

I really enjoyed the tandoori mixed grill it's the best in the Rhondda so if you are ever in the Rhondda it will be nice to call in and enjoy the food you will not be let down

Just had extra large donner kebab chicken jalfrezi +2 pilau rice and chips +2 jalfrezi nan +kurma sauce and piping hot pls try silver lounge it.s the best in the valleys and real stunning chips

ad a freezing cold keema nan. and curry chips were terrible aswell. will not go there again. plus prices 2 expensive

Never had a bad meal from here, always hot and fresh, can have a full fish shop menu, full indian menu, their southern fried chicken is amazing (especially the strips) and their kebabs are about the best about (portion a bit small but you get what you pay for, wish they done a XXL lol ) their Lamb doner meat is the best quality ive had anywhere, their chicken and lamb tikka kebabs are amazing and any of these can be served up in a nan bread instead of a pitta, even a keema nan! their house special kebab is my fave, has all the meats in one big nan with salad and sauce!

The chicken strips here with garlic and/ or chilli sauce are something else!! 👌😍 My favourite takeaway by far! Bit of a drive from where I live but happily go out of my way to go there... xXx

We had 1 kebab 6 southern chicken 2 chips and a lamb biryani with a madras sauce i phoned the order in and it was deliverd was 20 mins and food was very hot staff very friendly and stunning food they do what ever you order from there it.s stunning and prices are very good

Always order from silver lounge it's a hit or miss sometimes you get loads of meat other times you order a large mix it's you get little cut off or your meat is hard but honestly it very rare I would definitely recommend ordering from here
