The best restaurants serving Asian food in Wales

Food was okay, prices definitely not. The prices seem to make no sense. £5.98 for a glass of wine or a mug of tea or a glass of plum juice. £3.XX for plain rice, but £11.88 for plain noodles. Dessert was three small buns microwaved, not worth the nearly £7. When it comes to the service charge, the waitress did not leave the table and insisted that an additional £13 was still owed - as it turned out, the service charge. We only saw afterwards that it was voluntarily, which was not communicated.

Had a large take away ordered this evening. All piping hot and tasty. Diolch.

Very polite staff. Mentioned that they didn’t serve alcohol as soon as i walked in. Good to know. Starter was a mixed tandoori. Nothing to write home about. Small portion and the chicken was tough. Main course was ok. Restaurant was fairly busy, which is a good sign.

All you can expect from an Indian really, warm welcome, great service.

The food is amazing and the service is awesome very friendly and welcoming. Strongly recommend the madras and pathos dishes

An extensive choice of dishes. We settled for Biryani and it was fabulous. Waiter was attentive, friendly & polite. Prices were very reasonable and food was prepared and cooked extremely well. Will definitely visit again. The Naan breads were enormous, next time we'll just order one and share it.

Probablemente el peor curry que hemos probado. Pedimos nuestra comida así que no hay prisa en NYE. Ordenó un gobi de aloo que era increíblemente malo. , consistía en 3 pequeñas ollas nuevas ni siquiera despellejadas (¿qué tan perezoso es eso) y 2 floretes de coli flácido sin salsa en ellos. Las madras de pollo estaban en una salsa amarilla y sin especias. El pollo tikka masala no tenía carbonilla para el pollo, ya que se acaba de agregar a la salsa suave. El rocío de pollo rogan no tenía tomates allí solo lo que puedo describir parecía un tomate pelado con un pelador y colocado en la parte superior. Suave y amarillo. La Tarka Dahl. Estuvo bien. Al abrir el allo gobi inmediatamente los llamé para quejarme de que la señora que trabaja allí no estaba de acuerdo conmigo y se puso el dueño. Me dijeron que regresara para que lo arreglaran. Ojalá también hubiera llamado por los curris. Regresé esta mañana y me devolvieron el dinero para el gobi aloo. No volvería por favor la gente ahorra tu dinero. Nuestro hijo nos trajo un cordero pathia de especias delicia en penarth omg que era delicioso. He adjuntado fotos. Uno es del arroz en el cubo. Barato y desagradable. The food was brilliant, really interesting menu options, definitely recommend the chef’s special!! The staff were really well informed on menu knowledge, able to let me know what dishes would suit my taste and also were able to cook some salmon dishes some more for me as I’m not the biggest fan of cured salmon & raw fish. Couldn’t fault it!

I phoned the restaurant on a Tues and left a message asking to book a table for 2 for the Sat. I had a call back on Thurs morning to confirm my booking. We turned up 5 mins before our chosen time, only to be told they were full and that our name was not on the list. I explained I had a reservation and even showed them my phone log to show they called me. After expressing our disappointment, they offered to put a table in front of door at foot of stairs where customers go back and fore to the toilets. We declined and left. I contacted them via FB to express our disappointment, having been there previously and enjoyed. In many messages since, they never acknowledged their error and eventually said that the table we were offered was temporary whilst they waited for another couple to leave the table which was reserved for us. This is obviously not true as on arrival we were told our name was not on their list. In summary, Garuda handled the situation badly. A simple hands up we made a mistake, let us rebook you again and look after you properly would have been my response. Customer retention is so important these days. Maybe Garuda needs to look at their booking system.

We’ve been a few times, for tapas and for Sunday lunch. Food is consistently top notch, the Sunday roast is the best around! Great for a date night or a family meal, highly reccomend.

It was ok.. would have liked some flavor. If you haven’t been to Thailand then I suppose this food is new so taste great however the kapow was bland, I asked for spicy and there was no chilli added just peppers which aren’t spicy.. also it was also stir fried together which is not how I ever ate kapow in Thailand.. lastly I thought k would try a green tea with milk as it is one of my faves.. it came like warm with no ice 😒 didn’t enjoy it really just ate it all because I was hungry. Nice looking restaurant though! If you want real traditional Thai food.. go to Thailand haha

Ordered my food online which was simple enough. Good descriptions of food to help on the decisions! Easy ways to pay. Delivery was on time and food was piping hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. This was our first time using this establishment and won’t be our last. Keep up the good work guys.

Was staying in the area and needed a takeout, saw a leaflet for this one and went for it! Food was amazing, generous portions, fresh tasting ingredients and the value for money was great, not to mention it was ready within half an hour of ordering!! Would definitely recommend
