Mini Kitchen in Cardiff

When we entered the store, the waitress was playing on the computer and watching a video without saying a word to us. At the same time, a woman came out of the kitchen with a bowl of food. The two women were talking about their bowl of food without asking me what I wanted to eat. I asked them myself if I wanted to place an order at the counter? They just asked me what I wanted. My wonton noodles and the soup were all sticky, and the meat of the braised pork rice was very tough. We didn’t finish the food. Before we left, we went to the toilet. When we passed by the kitchen, we saw a middle-aged man handling food in the kitchen with a cigarette in his mouth😨

The braised beef rice is a must-have, and it’s very healing when paired with the miso soup.

Amazing food! Delicious stewed beef noodle soup with pak choi and a free side of pickles! A great selection with options for veggie too! Super value with big portions £10 for a massive bowl of stewed beef noodle soup - real winner this place!

I’ve been to mini kitchen a few times now and the food is always amazing. It’s extremely good value for money and by far the best Asian restaurant on Salisbury road (and cathays). Really nice staff serving the tastiest food.

Tasty food, authentic Chinese flavor, and super friendly owner. Beef rice, Malatang, and Shandong cuisine lasted two people, and they tasted great!

We had lunch here, and the food was delicious. The spicy dishes packed some heat, and the staff were friendly.

I was there being courios to see what food they have, and they didn't have anything I would normally eat, so I was very ashamed to leave but the manager was so sweet and understanding. I will go again and try something new even if it's scary for me❤️

Used to be so good, but the last time I went, couple of months ago, the taste of my favorite dishes completely changed. I was quite disappointed, I was really happy to hear it reopened, but only to find out the taste I’ve been missing is gone forever.

Beautiful beef noodle stew and some tasty mini spring rolls. Not like I know, but if I were guessing (and I am), I'd say this is Chinese home cooking at it's finest. Mini Kitchen, Fēi cháng gǎn xiè nǐ !!

Very delicious hot pots. We tried the beef and sea food hot pots and we really liked them. 🍤🦪🫕Great value for money. If you eat very spicy try medium, if you eat mild clarify you want it mild. Overall lovely experience.

Poor service. The staff is extremely rude. That man should learn some manners. Won't recommend it to others.

Mini kitchen provides superb food

The hotpot bowl is big and yummy can ask for the spicy to be separated if you want! The server I had could barely speak English but Google translate would work well! Yummy!

Great food, price and hospitality

Comida barata, halal, relativamente rápido el servicio si no hay cola. Bastante variedad de envolturas, sándwiches disponibles para elegir. La oferta de comida de Malasia especial es bueno y abundante. El almuerzo es siempre estaba lleno de estudiantes. El propietario utiliza para proporcionar tarjetas donde tienes 8 comidas y conseguir 9 uno gratis. Sin embargo, se ha detenido. Factores como problemas de higiene y comida fresca tenía que ser considerado como pobre.

Una amplia selección de sándwiches, wraps y nunca me decepcionó. El excepcional servicio al cliente y todos los clientes son recibidos con una sonrisa, imprescindible para cualquiera que esté buscando un buen almuerzo con una buena relación calidad-precio en Cardiff. Yo doy un 6 de 5 si pudiera.
