Pho Cardiff is a great stop for a lunch that warms you right through - I had the pork crispy spring rolls and the garlic steak Pho, and although my eyes were bigger than my belly, I left fully satisfied. Service was also great!

I had an absolutely lovely experience this afternoon at Pho. I ordered the Pho House which was just brilliant. Palak was our server, she was attentive and ensured all our needs were met promptly. Service from all staff was excellent, amplifying the positive atmosphere and experience had.

Our Server May was funny and great with helping us choice different options, she made our experience that much better with her being such a lovely bubbly person.

First time having Vietnamese food so not sure how it compares to other places but I thought it was lovely. My table shared 3 starters between us and all were great. Packed spring rolls, really intriguing and tasty summer rolls and the highlight was beef wrapped in betel leaf which came with various accompanying herbs, sauces and garnishes (packed with flavour, very fragrant). For main i had the beef brisket curry. Not a ton of meat in there but beautiful and creamy. Good service, plenty of choice on the menu, nice busy vibe to the place. Would definitely go again.

We had an issue with our order where we were given chicken instead of the vegan substitute we ordered (which can understandably happen). Although initially a female waitress assured us it was fine after just checking the receipt that went to the kitchen, our waiter Matthew was fantastic in checking properly and acknowledging the issue before resolving it. Popped in with my girlfriend for some lunch and was openly greeted, it felt very welcoming. Once we were sat at a table we were greeted by our server Fancudo an absolute gent he was very polite and friendly. He was very attentive and looked after us very well will definitely be returning. Hope to be served by Fancudo his hospitality was excellent.

Superb service! Went the extra mile! Once we sat down, they gave us water. And when I ordered spicy beef pho, they gave me a bib so that I won’t dirty my clothes. I’d say stick to the original beef pho, cuz my spicy beef brisket tasted quite oily due to the chilli oil

The establishment had a pleasant ambiance, leaving a positive first impression, but a good atmosphere can only go so far if the food doesn't deliver. I ordered the Steak and Garlic Pho. The waitress was very polite and pleasant, which added to the overall experience. The broth had a nice flavour, but I was immediately concerned by the temperature, Pho should be served piping hot, yet what I received was lukewarm at best (I could take a sip without having to cool it down by blowing). The beef slices, while thinly cut, were tough and chewy, more akin to rubber bands than tender steak. Additionally, the broth had visible oil and scum floating on the surface, which made for an unappetising presentation. With the abundance of glowing reviews, I expected much better. Perhaps I was unlucky on this occasion, so I'm willing to give it one more chance, hoping that next time the experience lives up to the reputation.

Not tried Vietnamese before this, wasn’t really sure what to expect so sampled a few of the starters which were tasty.. our eyes were bigger than our belly so couldn’t finish the mains. Fortunately they bagged the remainder up for us to take home. Only let down was the atmosphere it’s quite dark and quiet.
