Bit of a wait but we arrived peak dinner time - worth the wait. Delicious bowl of garlic steak pho. Friendly and attentive staff. Great value. Beer a tad expensive but same everywhere.

It was a busy Friday and we didn’t have anything booked but we were warmly greeted by Viktor and had a table within minutes. Our server Facundo looked after our every need. We had the summer rolls, squid, house pho and a couple of cocktails and they were all amazing!!! Honestly the service, food and cocktails were 10/10. Would recommend to anyone fancying something a bit different, this is the spot!

My daughter and I had a meal here last Sunday. Our first time eating Vietnamese Cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. My grandson had recommended the Church Street restaurant and I'm so glad that he did. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Cardiff !

Tim was so attentive and we received great service! Our cocktail were so delicious and I always order extra carrots in my curry so Tim made sure we got them! Service was quick and super friendly staff! No booking the last few times we turned up and they always fit us in!

We went to Bristol Pho last weekend, and as our experience was amazing (fantastic tasty food, brilliant service) we decided to come to one in Cardiff. We were very excited because reviews looked pretty good. But I can’t express how disappointing this experience was for us. Food was not tasty, very bland, more like lightly salted water. Curried soup had 4 prawns 🍤 and other meal tiny bit of beef. Didn’t enjoy it at all. Tasteless. We had comparison to Bristol restaurant and Cardiff food was not good. Also person who served us clearly didn’t want to be there 🤦🏼‍♀️ Waste of money won’t be back.

This restaurant is in the center of Cardiff, around 5 mins walk from the station. This is a famous branch for Vietnamese food in the UK, but not owned by Vietnamese owners. The taste of Pho is not like the original one from Vietnam, but the ingredients are the same.

We had an absolutely amazing meal at Pho in Cardiff! Every dish was packed with incredible flavor — fresh, vibrant, and so satisfying. Our waiter, Timothy, was fantastic and made the whole experience even better. He was very personable, taking the time to chat with us and recommend the delicious water spinach, which turned out to be one of our favorite dishes of the night. We also connected over having both lived in Penang, Malaysia, which made the evening feel even more special. Fantastic food, wonderful service — we can’t wait to come back!

This Vietnamese restaurant was an absolute gem! The pho chicken noodles were rich, hearty, and full of deep, savory flavors—like the broth had been simmered for hours with pure love and magic. The chicken fried rice was crispy yet fluffy, packed with that perfect smoky, wok-kissed flavor that hits different. The spring rolls were fresh, light, and so crunchy, every bite was a little crunchy explosion of herbs and happiness. We also had fresh juices that were seriously refreshing—ice-cold, naturally sweet, and so vibrant it felt like sipping pure sunshine. The ambience was cozy yet lively, with warm lighting, friendly service, and this relaxed, welcoming vibe that made it the kind of place you never want to leave. Every dish tasted fresh, vibrant, and made with real heart—definitely a spot that leaves you full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Great spot. Food was delicious and well presented. Mocktails were great( a drive home to Pembrokeshire followed) and the table service was exemplary with a good balance off laid back friendliness and on the spot attentiveness from Mathew. There was a piece of barcode on some paper in my soup but I didn't even care because my server Tim was a legend and had lovely Levis jeans really good fit of Levis jeans kind guy I think someone in the kitchen dropped the barcode in my soup It was still good soup tho ugh

The pho tasted pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary. Bit disappointed with the crab pho though – it only came with a crab omelette and no real crab. Service was just okay.

Tika was very nice and attentive; we loved her demeanour. The food was really tasty, as always; if I have to find something to improve, I would say offering disposable aprons with the soup noodles, like I saw in Japan, since the noodles are slippery and could splash you if you are not careful 😝 The atmosphere was nice, but I would personally go with a more relaxed kind of beat. The overall experience was very pleasant, elevated by the professionalism of the staff.

Pho Cardiff is a great stop for a lunch that warms you right through - I had the pork crispy spring rolls and the garlic steak Pho, and although my eyes were bigger than my belly, I left fully satisfied. Service was also great!
