The Coconut Tree Cardiff in Cardiff

We had a wonderful experience at the Coconut Tree, Cardiff this week. The food was totally delicious and the portions were very generous. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Rodney who looked after us during our visit - he always had a smile on his face. We will definitely be back soon.

Quite a cool place, nice decor, lots of different rooms and really busy when we were there. Six Nations night so service maybe not quite as quick as when less busy, but great cocktails and the food is really unusual, also not too spicy and lots of choice

A really great meal, fantastic atmosphere and attentive service despite being a very very busy Six Nations evening. The food is excellent, we had a range of chicken and vegetarian dishes and the waiter Gethin was informed about choices for those who like spicy food and those who don't

Half hour plus to get a drink, then told its because they were busy, not even an apology. Didn’t bring water to the table despite request. Cocktails served in plastic pint glasses and food on rusted tin plate. The food was passable, didn’t get everything we ordered. Restaurant not exactly warm. Won’t be rushing back but it was fairly cheap.

Alex and gruffydd are great each time we’ve been they’ve really made the night for us so defo recommend you will not be disappointed

Food great. Service appaling, food delivered late, not all together, drinks took hour to arrive, rice microwaved as didn't arrive with food. And zero apology. Worst service had ever to be honest.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Came here for lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu had lots of great dishes and what we had was very tasty! Not the best for picky eaters though! I would definitely return!
