Chillies in Swansea

Too many colourings. Rice was bright yellow with multi coloured grains and the coconut stuff was bright green. The curries both tasted the same although one was a Rogan and one was a dansak. Generally fairly bland and artificial.

The food was excellent. However service was very slow due to tons of orders for delivery. But worth waiting for. Restaurant was full all night, and staff were lovely, even though very pressured.

Had a sit in curry this evening for my partner’s birthday and it was delicious. Have been previously and wouldn’t go to another Indian in the area. The staff are very attentive and speed of service and food quality was great. Will be visiting again and would recommend.

Booked a table for 7pm.i had to ask for a drink at 7.30pm. We nearly had someone else's drinks, when we were waiting for our meal we got given a food menu, the front door was constantly being opened with pple wanting takeaways and the staff were rude as in not bothering , all they could think of was making money. A customer came back , he was give the wrong meal. And my meal veg curry consists of 2 carrots, 2 Broad beans onions . No pots , no mushrooms, piss poor. Homage mango chunky watered-down. Also small portions

We had an excellent meal. served quickly by pleasant and obliging well dressed staff. Restaurant is clean with a good atmosphere. Toilets are also clean. Will definitely return. 👍

These guys used to be in Llanelli and made the best Chicken Muli anywhere. It took he ages to find where they move to and now I’ve found them won’t go anywhere else now. The foods outstanding Believe me.

Just had a takeaway and this was the nicest food I’ve had from a curry house in a longtime. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot, all dishes were unique and excellently spiced. Lal Mass so rich, with incredibly tender lamb, chicken dansak sweet and sour with great texture and chilli heat. The kids Paneer tikka masala had ‘proper’ tikka masala sauce, stand your spoon up thick, creamy, almondy and sweet but not too sweet. All rice and breads absolutely delicious. Okra was also cooked to perfection! . Will be my new go to in the bont, Thank you Chillis for a fabulous meal..

Outstanding as always. We eat at the Chili's every other week and have done for many years. We have never had a bad meal. Food is good quality, and always served fresh and hot. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Very reasonabley priced.

Food arrived an hour and 30mins late, rang up twice for an update on when the food was due to be delivered and was lied to, as it was still not sent out when they said it had been, poppadums came and hadn’t even been cooked just thrown in a bag. On top of this when i rang the second time for an update the guy put the phone down on me. i rang instead of going through just eat and they charged me more than just eat prices. Curries were ok but clearly rushed.

Placed an order with a one hour turnaround. 2 hours later and fobbing off and we are still waiting. The order was well over £100. You’d think that is the kind of custom worth having. Will not be using again. Kids are crying tired and hungry. We ordered 545, hardly peak time

The service was average. The chutney tray had watered down mango chutney, serving dishes were obviously used again without being washed properly. My chicken dish tasted of lamb,the onion bagees were very greasy. Serving ramekins were chipped and re used without being cleaned. Chillies used to be very good, not anymore.

Last night I enjoyed a fantastic takeaway meal featuring Chicken Tindaloo, Garlic Naan Chips, and Poppadoms. The Chicken Tindaloo was a flavorful and spicy delight, perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying. The Garlic Naan Chips added a crispy and aromatic twist, while the Poppadoms with chutneys provided an extra layer of taste. The quality, portion sizes, and packaging were all excellent. Overall, it was a memorable and highly recommended Indian cuisine experience.

There is simply NO better place to buy a curry in the whole of Swansea and LLanelli. Fantastic service beautiful food at a great price with massive portions. The only place that I can get a Chicken Tindaloo that hits the spot

This was a take away. Very disappointed again. Over the last year since moved to area always been fab. This year poor service, long waits & cold food! Tonight no bhajis in £27 order!! Not good enough. Need to try elsewhere i think. Shame!!

Didn't enjoy we booked our party we were placed right by the escape door so we were bloody freezing one of my friends dropped her wine glass an accident and got charged for her drink the attitude of the staff just couldn't care less nothing changes

Wonderful local place, My only complaint has been the temperature of the food. The waiting staff make a fuss of bringing plates over, pretending they are boiling hot when they are either cold or just warm. If the food was hot, it would quickly cool on cold plates. As for the waiting staff, they are asking they same questions one after the other, surely you only need to confirm that everything is satisfactory with your meal or it's not. The last four times we have been, either ourselves or our guests had to send dish back to have them reheated, & unfortunately that's just as the food has been delivered. If they could get their act together, they'd have a great restaurant as opposed to a mediocre restaurant as it is at the moment.

Quick service, food was piping hot and tasty, staff very courteous, not on the cheap side and the large glass of house red was overpriced. The place could do with a bit of tlc, but wouldn't stop me from going back.

Great curry chips were a little cold

The food was outstanding, absolutely delicious and portion sizes were really good. Everybody was very happy with the quality and flavour of their food. The service was thorough and quick and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. I will most certainly be coming back for more.

This bengali fish curry loving M*********** doesn't pay his staff their wages! The chef is one of the scruffiest guys i have ever seen. Doesn't even wash his hands after going to the toilet! Avoid at all costs!

Had a takeaway this evening food was ready on time, hot when we got it home. This was the nicest Indian we have had in so long! Quality of the food was fantastic 👌 there is not one thing I can fault. Samosas were full of filling and crispy Haryali chicken was so full of flavour Spicy chips lovely Chicken pathia Amazing Potion sizes were larger than standard. So impressed can't wait for our next order.

Birthday meal for granddaughter a very bad experience we won't be returning staff didn't have a clue wrong food served for one mine was very sweet like too much sugar yuk after having two very nice meals a few months ago it needs a shake up as staff were not even pleasant despite booking a week in advance vote with our feet 8 unhappy people left there last night. As for not giving a positive reviews when I was good we did my brother gave a good review as we were together you are not even taking responsibility for such bad service but 8 customers are easy to replace I expect there's plenty of other resteraunts

This is the first visit for a while. The pandemic has had a lot to answer for. I am glad to say the welcome received from the team is so genuine (like a long lost friend). Even more important the food is of exceptional standard. My first visit to Chillis 6 years ago I was recommended Lall Mas by the waiter which he recommended Madras hot with Naga chilli pickle added. ( I do like a bit of heat). I cannot see past this curry . It is the best most flavoursome curry have ever had . I am from Glasgow and visited places all over the UK and even India I have had good curries, however nothing beats Chillis for this Marvel. Would I recommend . Too right every time. Chllis cannot be faulted for quality, service and price . Well done guys

Been a customer of restaurant and takeaway Indian cuisine at chillies and they are consistently providing very good quality food. In some cases especially when venturing out out to their restaurant the food is excellent. Service is well timed, attentive, polite, welcoming and refreshingly they make you feel important as a customer valued. I've tried a variety of dishes off the menu overtime as I do in most places even if the food isn't to my likening its always good to go back and sample different things. For anyone who doesn't like a lot of spice of course Lamb Korma excellent, tender pieces Welsh lamb and the curry full of flavour. But Methi gosht particular favourite meaty aromatic flavours delicious. Would highly recommend a visit

We went there last night and I got to say it has been the NICEST Indian I have had in a while! We normally would either go to Raduni or Rasoi but I can say the food at Chillies was a better quality and much more tastier than anywhere I have been. I would highly suggest this place to anyone who wants amazing service and great food!!!

Service was awful, so many takeaways. We did ask after 1.5 hrs were our meal was only to be told 'I'll check can't you see I'm busy' then when we asked someone else why he hadn't come back to let us know what was happening he argued that he had come back to us - when the meal came one meal was incorrect but the food we had was lovely shame about the Service and no one wearing a mask correctly plus there were to many people allowed that Covid rules were not followed.

Food was just weird The menu online isn't very detailed so when I ordered a chilli House special fish I was expecting a curry, not a battered fish with onions, tomatoes and peas poured on top of it Everything else was mediocre/OK

This is my favourite local Indian. Delivery is swift, food is cooked well, flavours are authentic. I tried the Fish Korai this time as a change from my usual sag.... I was not disappointed! Had a takeaway last night from chilles for the first time and it was outstanding! We got way too much food so, it'll be our Sunday dinner too. Absolutely gorgeous food!

I ordered over the phone and went to collect our food in 40 minutes. The staff were friendly and kept the waiting customers informed about the state of their orders until they were ready. The food was absolutely faultless. Very fresh, tasty and plentiful. Delicious once again!

Excellent food, but recently the green chillies you use taste pickled not fresh. This is a very big deal for me. Please change them back. Tried emailing you via your website but it didn't work. Didn't want to ring you as I know you are busy.

Have dined here many times in the past always been good. Recently went in the eat out to help out period although the place was really busy the wait wasn’t too bad considering how busy they were. After going there probably about 2 years from our last visit it did not disappoint very tasty food would visit more frequently but it’s a bit of a drive for us

Chillies - Pontadullais. We ordered Lamb Shashlick, Pilau rice, Lamb Saag, breads and Meat Samosas Lamb Shashlick was amazing, tender and full of flavour. Went tonight, had a lovely meal & Service was nice, my only gripe tonight was that (I'm guessing) due to it being the last Monday of the "dine out to help out" we were rushed through our meal, we were booked in for 5pm & by 5:35 we were in the car on the way home, there were 3 of us who all had Poppadoms & pickle tray, a starter each, main each & drinks, I can understand they need to make money with everything going off due to Covid but I don't wish to feel pushed out the door. Overall it was a nice meal but just ruined by feeling as though we were taking up room.

A few negative reviews but glad we ignored them food outstanding enough left for tea tomorrow staff couldn't do enough thanks

Cracking curry had by 3 of us We had Chicken Chilli Masala, Tandoori Mixed Grill and Chicken Madras. Highly recommend.
