As a Vietnamese, I loved Sen when it first opened due to the authenticity, but a recent visit back after 1.5 year was beyond disappointing. The food is now clearly catered to the standard Western taste and the details that made it authentic was gone. I could not recognise the dishes anymore. The female waiter clearly did not know how the dishes are supposed to be eaten (I asked if the pho came with cooked or rare beef and she was oblivious.. ) and did not give us chopsticks/ spoon for pho, I instead got a fork and I had to ask twice for the chopstick. 10% service charge added automatically. The portion size was half of what it used to be, and does not represent how Pho is served in Vietnam. Even the most essential herb - basil, was absent. I'm ashamed to have recommended Sen to my friends based on my previous experience. Will absolutely not return.

I had high expectations because of the high ratings, but... it doesn't taste like Korean. 1. This restaurant is not run by Koreans. The interior is decorated in Korean style, but it definitely doesn't taste that way. 2. The tteokbokki was edible, but it tasted like commercial frozen tteokbokki. And I don't know if it's because I ordered multiple menus, but the portion size was much smaller than other reviews. 3. The chicken definitely does not taste like Korean chicken. It tasted greasy like karaage and had a foul smell of chicken. The color of the fries was dark and the color of the chicken was also black. 4. Kimbap was the worst. Perhaps because the person who cooked it was different, compared to other review photos, the kimbap was mushy and almost ready to fall apart. The contents also contain paprika instead of carrots and the cucumber flavor is very strong. It's not kimbap, it's closer to Japanese maki or rolls, but the taste is very different from Korea. Overall Review: Feels like a Korean restaurant run by a Chinese person in London's Chinatown. It doesn't taste like the Korean food you eat in Korea at all.

My wife, my 6 months old son, and I stopped at this place 22 years ago for look around, and we were caught off guards by the shop owner and his wife, who invited us with the best and tastiest cup of tea with some homemade chilli dip. This pleasant experience still carries its ripple with us 22 years on. To the gracious shop owner and his wife, thank you so much for the great experience and May God Almighty bless you and grant you all your wishes. 🌹

5 out of 5 for the food - we tried the massaman curry and noodle soup, and couldn't fault either. You should be aware the restaurant isn't licensed, so you need to bring any alcohol you want to drink (and I guess they charge corkage) - fine for us, as we don't drink, and there were soft drink options. The reason I've given this 4 out of 5 is because of the booking system - there's an online booking system, which indicates you're making an actual booking, but you get an automated email back saying that it's not a booking and the restaurant will confirm, which they didn't. We decided to turn up anyway at our requested time and there were spaces, but didn't get the impression they had our booking. Food was worth it though.

We ordered a takeaway set which should consist of a main dish, side dish, and a soft drink. After arriving at the flat, we found out that the drink was missing (we thought a tall soup cup was the drink when we looked quickly before leaving) but it's far and already late so we didn't go back to get it. Also I couldn't find an email to contact the restaurant. Anyhow the amount of good was great.

The first time I came, I was disappointed by a drink that tasted like just orange juice but keep reading. I later went again and tried a different drink and I am so so glad I gave it a second chance ! As a boba/tea/yummy drinks lover, Soho Tea is honestly the best out of the 15 boba places I have tried in town ! I keep coming back to Soho Tea, so by now, I know most of the drinks on their menu and 99.99% of them are absolutely delicious and really unique ! The price is average, the quality is amazing, the shop is open everyday until quite late (and it's very pretty and clean and calm), staff is super friendly and you can choose how much sugar or ice to have. I particularly recommend the strawberry mochi drink, it has so many layers of different textures and tastes 😋 the mango sago and the grape drinks are also really good. The classic brown sugar boba milk tea is a good one too👍 anyway. Just go there and find your favourite :) oh, never tried it but apparently they do delivery too
