Really good food, clean place aswell.

The Tikka masala, butter chicken, and naan were amazing!

Brilliant authentic dishes, reminds me of back home. Excellent customer service, not as quick as I liked but definitely worth the wait.

Food arrived quickly so it was still warm. Ordered myself chicken biryani and puri, the rice for the biryani was dry and tasteless same with the chicken, no taste. Puri was nice but nothing great tbf, overall too much salt in the food I believe. Won’t be back here anytime soon.

Pizza was good but the chiken Jalfrizi and thika were not what we expected. A bit too spicy and you could taste uncooked meat.

Have had many takeaways from here and they've all been lovely - last night two out of three of our dishes were so salty you couldn't get any flavour apart from the salt

I made an order of chicken Tikka While I recieved this, everybody can see the picture what rubbish is this that we made an order of one thing and they gonna send you other. I have tried to call them again and again to change it and take away your box but they didn't pick my phone. Very poor customer service. One month ago we had pizza of very poor quality from this restaurant. Will never order from this restaurant, Everybody try to avoid it as much as possible.

Horrible was racially profiled here , against here they quizzed me about my ethnic background then made fun of me . They had no right as I just wanted to buy food and did not look for personal talk . The personal on duty had no manners and looked unkempt . The food itself was very good and authentic . The other reviewer who said that the food is authentic , Indian needs to get a grip it’s Bengali .

the mango chicken is delicious as is the podina chicken. I like that you can choose to order small or large portions, I like to order small portions so i can try different dishes without ordering too much food.

Mi compañero y yo llegamos justo 15 minutos antes de que cerrara la tienda. El personal fue muy amable y dijo que habían comprado el lugar a un propietario anterior y que han estado trabajando en este menú. Teníamos dos platos encantadores (uno con mango y pollo y uno con cordero en salsa roja) ambos muy sabrosos! Lo mismo para el arroz. Los precios son geniales también. Lo recomiendo altamente!

This is a fantastic Indian - probably the best I’ve had in the past year. We got a mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes, rice and naans. All of it lovely and well spiced. Can’t recommend it enough and the most lovely staff!!!

I don't really leave reviews but this place is a credit to Edinburgh. The staff are friendly and cool and the food is really fresh and delicious. It's a proper Indian. When I have friends over, I just order from here rather than cook because you know it's going to be superb.

Delivery time was good for a sat night, food quality and serving was very poor. Ordered a chicken wrap, lucky if there was 5 strips of chicken in it n they were very small strips! Was pretty much eating wrap with some lettuce and I ordered the large wrap! Hate to think what the small would of been like!! Was defo still hungry after it and dissatisfied 😒

2nd time in a row been an issue with ordering. 45min late (1hr 40), after calling n little cold by time arrived. it was always the go to before. come on guys..

The food arrived very late. Half an hour after the time quoted. We had to phone up and they were not very helpful., no apology given for the delay. The chips and pizza were awful. The Indian food was ok but we found hairs in our food., so overall a very poor experience and we won't order again.

Calzone tasted like mouldy cheese so I couldn't even eat it so I chucked it away, what a waste of money at least the chicken nuggets where good and the chips where alright.

Good - Two curries tasted nice. Jalfrezi more spicy than other examples I have tried, good flavour. Bad- naan was stone cold, chicken was diced quite small. Worst part was the spiced onions which arrived in a bag not a container.

Food was excellent, my only qualm is that I ordered cans of coke and 7up, they had no 7up available so sent pepsi... I ordered coke, why would I have wanted Pepsi? An amusing item substitution worthy of most major super markets! Good food nonetheless, would happily order again!

Calzone was bland. Tomatoe sauce very over powering. Lamb passanda well if you can call it that due to lack of lamb. Delivery was fine and so was driver. Unfortunately was first and last time I'll be ordering from there. Sorry guys.

Looked online at the menu and this place seemed like a jack of all trades. Doner kebabs to korma's, pizzas to Peshawar naan........I ordered from there as its a stones throw away from my mums. Thought "what the hell" and ordered. Phoned them and asked how long it would be, told 20 mins. Went to collect food and guy couldn't see order. Spoke to his pal and then found a note pad with my order. 7 minutes later the food arrives for me. My naan bread was more like a garlic pizza bread which was crispier than a deep fried won ton. My mum said her chips were hard, more hard than a slab of concrete. Overall, very disappointed in the quality.

Horrible delivery service. They didn't have my drink, so they substituted for something I didn't want without calling me. Why have my number if you won't use it? The food arrived on time, but the bag was leaking grease all inside from the biryani sauce. Absolute mess. The biryani itself was good, but the sauce (curry) was not. It was 1/4" thick of grease on top and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the last 2 hours. The salad and red chutney were placed in bags, not unlike the ones used for food recycling. While the mango chutney was put into a condiment cup. If you have condiment cups why not use them for all the chutney? The damn bag was messy and also covered in grease (from the biryani). The pilau rice was fine, but you can't mess that up if you want to have a business at all. Overall, the only thing about this meal that was actually good was the mango chutney. The food was OK, but not worth the price or the frustration of the horrible delivery service. TIP: DO NOT SUBSTITUTE A CUSTOMERS ORDER IF YOU ARE OUT OF STOCK WITHOUT CALLING FIRST. YOU HAVE OUR NUMBERS. USE THEM. Not ordering from here again.

Ive ordered from here many times before and they've always been good. But I ordered a pizza and a Coke simple enough so I thought, my order took almost 1 hour and half and its 5 mins down the road from me, but I had to find this out myself no one phoned to tell me it was going to be this late I had to phone up myself and see what the problem was. So after a long wait my order wasn't what I asked for I recived Pepsi but I asked for Coke, very disappointed !! Normally quite good.

Several items missing, both curries had no flavour. The delivery took an hour and 10 minutes. They also didn't bring our drinks and the delivery driver said 'we were closing so we didn't bring your juice'. That is so ridiculous we phoned and we were ignored, then answered and hung up on. Wouldn't order here again.

Food was nice but it took 1.5h to be delivered. Even if after placing an order it said 30min. Quite disappointed with the waiting time.

The foof was very tasty, and I would orser again feom here. I would recommend to anyone.

Food was a little late but freezing on arrival. Had to microwave which ruined the meal. Kebab meat seemed days old very rubbery (before microwaving) will not use again. Asked for salad dressing for kebab expecting it to be the usual dressing you get but it was actual vinigarette.

A truly awful meal. The meal was 20 mins late. Ordered a mixed tandoori main meal (hardly anything in it); the paratha was cold so had stiffened; the palak paneer was tasteless although I had asked for it to be Asian style; the raita was plain yoghurt with a few pieces of cucumber on top; and the donner meat & chips hardly contained any meat at all. Complete Amateurs! Don't waste your money here.

After having grown tired of usual tasteless currys from my regular takeaway. I thought I'll give Mango tree a try and I haven't looked back since. The food is outstanding. Service is good. The rogan josh is one of the best currys I've ever had. I Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine Indian cuisine.

Got a few curries from here the other night with some mates. Weren't expecting anything special, especially after waiting for an hour and a half and having to phone up, but boy was it worth the wait. Best indian takeaway I've had in five years living in Edinburgh by a considerable margin. Got another tonight, this time the delivery was quick and the food was just as good as last time. Very impressed indeed, and can't recommend enough.

Another order from Mango Tree and another fantastic meal. Excellent Tandoori mixed grill. Good sized portions. Delivery was spot on time. The food was nice and hot. Will be back again soon.

Delivered 40 min after my meal should have been delivered. Meal ordered at 19:00 should have been delivered at 19:55 but it came at 20:35. Chips where soggy, like microwave chips 'yuck'. After I phoned they said my meal was on its way and they should be there any time now, but 20 min later it arrived. It should only take 5 min by car to my house. Won't be ordering from them again!

We ordered a take away from here tonight, the food was nice enough but about an hour after eating my flat mate started being violently sick. We phoned the restaurant to let them know, not so much to complain but more to let them know so they didnt serve it to other people. A very rude man told us that it could not be there food as they had had no other calls and put the phone down.

Looking for a quick meal we came across this place. We had the 16inch margarita pizza for only £6.95 which is amazing value. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff pleasant.
