Gorgeous food, such reasonable prices and wonderful service. We sat in as I was with my toddler and there was enough seating for around 6 people. My pad Thai was stunning and such a great deal for the set lunch price. We don’t live on this side of the city anymore but we make the effort to go here as it’s so good.

Food arrived over an hour late, lukewarm and mediocre

Best pad Thai I’ve had in years, including ones I have had in Thailand. Only in Edinburgh 3 nights and ended up ordering a (very fast) delivery 2 of those nights.

Delicious food and helpful and speedy service. The food is reliably good the food arrives quickly and with a smile.

Greasy, tasteless noodles with chicken pieces. A severe lack of any flavour and heat Card machine not working so it was across the road for cash and that cost me an extra £1.35 Never going back

After a 14 hour shift I was looking forward to to my thai green curry, however it was cold, 2 pieces of chicken, watery and tasteless. The staff member was rude and uncooperative when I complained! This takeaway describes itself as authentic thai cuisine, clearly no one in the shop has ever even been to Thailand! Avoid this place

Very disappointed in my food as I ordered my green tie curry was microwaved to heat it up.my wife orderd a chicken and prawn pad tie as there was actually no prawns and 2 small pieces of chicken I simply told them this wasn’t great as I did so the chef flew from the Back screaming and shouting at me FOOD SHOCKING AND THE STAFF SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to work in a kitchen my wife was very shaken up I WONT GO BACK THERE as a small bizness this is more of a terrible night mare

We are kind of local and wanted to try their food and ordered two soups tom yam and tom kha and one jungle curry and pad Thai. Very disappointed. Every item was mediocre. I would have preferred edible food than some sad free prawn crackers and veg spring rolls. Won’t be going back to them

Have got takeaways from here 3 times now. Food good and last order came to over £36 and we were still charged £2 delivery fee. When I queried this as the menu advertises free delivery on orders over £30, I was told that I had an old menu. Well, I only picked up the menu from them 4 wks prior to this, the last time I was there.

They say you can't buy happiness. Well, they must've never tried food at this little hidden gem. Missing Thailand sun, sea, street food? Pop in to Pop Kitchen and have some of the best Thai food in Edinburgh, close your eyes and let your mind take you on a wee travel to paradise.

Unlike most Thai takeaways I've had, this food actually reminded of my dining experiences in Thailand. What more do you want? Would be 5 stars if they hadn't forgot the chilli sauce with my Tofu Tod!

Tasted like your typical British Thai takeaway, muted flavours, nothing special. Curry was nice. Quick delivery and nice staff. Wish them well but after visiting Thailand I'm looking for more authentic, punchy flavours.

Bland watery dishes, got three mains and 2 soups but couldn't tell which was which. Very disappointing won't order here again.

This is not Thai food. No flavour, no spice, no fresh ingredients. Yes food was delivered hot, but that’s only positive thing can write.

We lived in Thailand for 20 years. Been back in Scotland for less than 2. This was the first Thai take away we've had here that tasted like proper Thai food. A real wee gem in Granton!

This restaurant is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing and well priced for what you get. And the staff are amazing. They are so friendly and genuine and they make you feel at home. Will definitely be going back!

This place is absolutely amazing. Really friendly people. I've worked in some fine tai restaurants in Edinburgh, but this takeaway is up there with them. Really clean place, food perfect, rice is really well cooked 👍, I surely recommend this pop kitchen.

These guys are so consistent in their culinary art and customer service! We've been ordering from them for around a year now, I think, and the food is always absolutely delicious! Tried countless Thai resturants and takeaways over the last few years and have been dissapointed, A few months ago someone left a stack of thier menus at the entrance of my building and I am so glad they did! We gave it a try and we keep going back. Pop Kitchen's food is consistently excellent - great flavours and fresh ingredients - and reasonably priced. Thier delivery drivers are also friendly and quick! Happy to find that they are open and delivering during the lockdown. A bright spot in these uncertain times! This place is a gem - I can't recommend it enough. Thank you!

Best Thai food we've ever had outside Thailand!

I've been eating Pop Kichen's food for almost a year now (usually two or three times a month) and I'm always very satisfied. The food is fresh and each meal is delitious and has it's own unique taste. There is a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options as well, and if you are looking for alterations (like no meat or mild instead of hot spices) the lovely owners are always eager to make your dish the way you like it. The delivery is fast and food arrives hot every time. I highly recommend it! 

We must have tried every single item on their menu by now. The variety, authenticity and absolutely delicious flavours need to be sampled to be believed! This is not just the best Thai take away in town - it's much better than simply that! And to top it off, your meals are prepared by a pair of very friendly, attentive (obviously highly talented!) chefs. Thank you!!

Quality food along with good customer service

Food was good, I have one request there was a lot of single use plastic being used when we ordered the take away plastic bag plastic container, plastic cutlery please can you use a more eco friendly way to deliver your food as plastic is killing our oceans and environment, unfortunately there are a lot more takeaways cutting down there plastic use by using a more eco friendly form of ways to box there food please look into it thank you :)

Great little place run by a nice Thai couple - food is great value and tasty. It’s a shame they are tucked away in Granton - I think this place would be really busy in Leith or closer to town.

Had a quick stop here while on a drive with my sister and ordered some starters. The staff were friendly and service was quick but most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and so authentic. Feeling a little less homesick now I know this place is near!

We order food from Pop Kitchen on a regular basis. I think we tried most of the dishes from the menu and never been disappointed .....Its definitely THE BEST Thai Takeaway in Edinburgh!!!!! Lovely clean kitchen and very friendly staff. We cant get enough of it and we keep trying all different things. We dont have any kitchen facilities at our car dealership at West Harbour Road so this nice and fresh food made to order saves our life!!!! Thank you Pop Kitchen!!!!

Amazing delicious fresh and home made Thai food. The portions are generous, pad Thai could easily feed 2 people. The duck rolls are the best I've ever had. Staff is very friendly and the food was delivered piping hot. A real hidden gem among all Edinburgh take away. Very much recommend!

Finally got round to trying this place after driving past a couple of months ago. The food was delicious; definitely the best Thai takeaway for miles! Portions are generous and clearly cooked fresh. Lots of veg and meat in the noodles, with a good kick of chilli. Had the mixed starter and the ribs just fell off the bone. The satay sauce is to die for, I could have drank it! The place is cash only and not on any delivery apps which is what has stopped me from ordering in the past. Will definitely make an effort to order again, but would be great to see a card payment option!
