The first time I came, I was disappointed by a drink that tasted like just orange juice but keep reading. I later went again and tried a different drink and I am so so glad I gave it a second chance ! As a boba/tea/yummy drinks lover, Soho Tea is honestly the best out of the 15 boba places I have tried in town ! I keep coming back to Soho Tea, so by now, I know most of the drinks on their menu and 99.99% of them are absolutely delicious and really unique ! The price is average, the quality is amazing, the shop is open everyday until quite late (and it's very pretty and clean and calm), staff is super friendly and you can choose how much sugar or ice to have. I particularly recommend the strawberry mochi drink, it has so many layers of different textures and tastes 😋 the mango sago and the grape drinks are also really good. The classic brown sugar boba milk tea is a good one too👍 anyway. Just go there and find your favourite :) oh, never tried it but apparently they do delivery too

Overpriced and not tasty.. We ordered on the deliveroo app in evening. It was very bad compared to what we saw on the app photos.

Visited on their opening day (8th March). Quiet location compared to other bubble tea stores in Edinburgh due to less foot traffic. Nice, modern store with friendly staff. Limited seating so more a takeaway store than sit in. Cash only and open everyday 12:00-20:00. Staff were friendly and speak English and Mandarin. They plan to use Deliveroo soon but are currently doing their own deliveries. Menu is mostly fruit teas with topping options such as tapioca, grass jelly and cream cheese. One not on their menu is purple sweet potato tea with cream cheese, which the staff recommended to us. You can alter the level of sugar and ice to suit your preference. The strawberry cheezo, peach paradise and matcha teas were quite good. Fruit teas are made with fresh fruit and the teas freshly made after ordering. A nice addition to the Newington area.
